Thank you, Umbreonpanda! I already had 26 of the light balls.
Should I do something with the Yellow Forest map, or just keep
doing more interactions to meet the next threshold?
I just met the second light ball threshold and it said “We’ll meet
at the Yellow Forest.” That really makes it seem like I need to do
something with the Yellow Forest...
I can’t yet because I already have all three of my rumble bags
being used. It’ll be some hours before those rumble missions are
finished.
Is there a specific Pokémon that I should send to the Yellow Forest
when I get the chance?
Edit: I just went ahead and had my Pikachu, my Raichu, and one of
my Pichus take all three of my rumble bags to the Yellow Forest,
because I have no idea what’s supposed to happen and maybe this way
they’ll have the best chance.
Okay, my Pokémon finally came back from the Yellow Forest and
brought a Pichu with them. I thought it would be the event Pichu,
but it’s not, it’s just another normal Pichu that I now need to get
rid of and I wasted a whole day rumbling for nothing. Someone needs
to tell me how to get the event Pichu, now.
Kitties! Riako has no idea what he unleashed with that update🙀

I’ve checked it many times. All it says is Pichu non-language over
and over.
Why did someone tell me to waste a whole day in the Yellow Forest
when that did absolutely nothing? And why will no one tell me
anything about what is actually happening here, about when I’ll
actually get anything out of this or what I would even get?
Aside from the Pika-language, there's also a 'translation' at the
bottom saying 'make many interactions' (or something similar) and
the Light Ball counter was reset to 0 with a new goal. All things
you can simply read for yourself.
Users are helping you however they can and might not have figured
everything out themselves. Demanding answers and blaming others
when things go wrong also makes them unwilling to help, as they
don't want to be blamed for something that might not be their
fault. Trying to help means trying to figure out how it works
together and trying things that might not be right to see what it
does.
The Yellow Forest is not 'a waste of time'. It's the only place you
can get Retro Pikachu and Spiky-eared Pichu. Ukulele Pichu requires
more Light Balls.

You normally have to interact with pokemon that other people have,
use a clicklist if you are willing to click your fingers off.
Also wise words Catlady, very wise
I am in an extreme amount of pain from rheumatoid arthritis with my
immune system attacking me, especially in my dominant hand. It
feels like I’ve already ruined my hand interacting.
I’m having to use talk texting for this because I can’t type
anymore because my hand is in so much pain and locked up where my
fingers can barely move.
If you're in pain, you should take breaks from interacting as
pixels on a pokemon website are not worth sacrificing your health
and well-being for. The event will last until July 31st so you
still have over a week to collect the light balls you need so it's
best you spread out your interacting and take multiple breaks.
(Personally, I tend to make 500 interactions per hour to get the
hourly Dream Points at the Dream World Shop. It's slow and chill
progress, I reached 100 light balls today.)
Even if you aren't able to get enough light balls, the Yellow
Forest quest/Pika event is a recurring event so you'd have a new
opportunity to complete the event at some point in the future.
