Eclipse could feel all of the sadness coming from Mercy. “Nobody here hates you. Some of us just have other duties. Others have reason why they had to leave. But we all love you very much.” he told her. He wanted to do more, but as a spirit, there was only so much he could do. “You’re not a failure. You’ve helped us all so much and I’m sure Caspian and Eclipse will understand that you didn’t have much of a choice for the things you did.”

His phone started ringing. He accepted the call. "alright, calm down. I'm gonna be there in a minute." Kendo put away his phone. "I'm really sorry guys. I have to go. My employer is getting pissed."

Eclipse was panicking a bit. “Mercy, it will all be fine. They may leave, yes, but they’ll always be able to visit. And this is what happens when you’re a mom. Your kids grow up and they eventually have to leave the nest. You’ll always miss them, but they’ll always come back to you. You are the best mother one could ask for.” he said.

Kendo pat Isa on the head. "Well. I don't have much else to say. An old friend of mine is calling. I gotta go." he waved his hands, and a portal appeared, inside was what appeared to be a bar in some far-away land. "Sword, check, armor, check, potions, check, phone, check..." A person at the bar had noticed the portal and seemed to be yelling at Kendo, motioning with their hands for him to get over there. Kendo nodded. "Well, time for me to go. I'll be back in a bit. Just wait, alright?"

Mercy hiccuped, rubbing her eyes. The stars eventually started to calm down, as well as her, and disappeared one by one until the usual amount floated around her. "I'm sorry..." She used up most of her voice, it would take a little while for it to come back. Scaramouche, Kendo, Matsunaga, everyone had to go eventually. They would all leave. She didn't want their last impression of her being her upset. "Thank you.."

Iteral just waves at Kendo's disappearance. He'd have her pocket watch, should things go sour... did she tell him that it had an anchor point? Probably. Anyhow... she was thinking about the wall of dense hydrogen separating them. Sure, a quick shadow leap could solve it but does she want to barge in...?

Gwen just sort of makes a weird purring sound, not too dissimilar to a cat. She missed being cradled.

You know the first rule in combat? Shoot them before they shoot you.

Mercy nodded, but stayed kneeling where she was looking up at the stars the observatory. She loosened her grip on the stuffed animal and note. She couldn't just stay here. She had people that loved her already, people that wouldn't leave her. Standing up finally, she placed the plushie down where she previously was, along with the note. He'll be back. She knew it. They would all see her again... Maybe... "I'm sorry, girls. I'm alright." She wiped away the rest of her tears, smiling shakily at them. "Come on, I'll make breakfast."
