Myself, I have a few. Number 1 on the list would be a toss up
between Clive Barker and Neil Gaiman. Also I enjoy Terry Goodkind,
Dean Koontz, and Robert Jordan
1. J.R.R. Tolkien
He will always be my favourite fantasy author. I love his
story-telling style and how much time and effort he put into the
creation of the fictional languages he used in The Lord of the
Rings and The Hobbit. This devotion left a deep inpact on me.
2. Edgar Allan Poe
I love his short stories so much! It doesn't matter it's about
crime, supernatural or love topics. For me, his writing style was
not only dark, depressing and gloomy - it was also deep, pure and
honest.
3. John Milton
With the "Lost Paradise" he created the ultimate book challenge to
me and i love him for that. I swear, i will finish this book book
before my time runs out xD
Thomas Harris, hands down. Hannibal (published in 1999) is my
favorite novel, and two other novels by Harris (The Silence of the
Lambs and Hannibal Rising) are also among my top seven favorites.
