"Oh my gosh we can understand them too!" The inklings were all squealing while Connie just watched them all freak out over humans. Connie meanwhile was trying to take in the fact humans were still alive, somehow.

The clamor got louder as more Inklings and Octolings came to see what the chatter was about, James felt uncomfortable “Geez so many… People here… Im sorry it’s a lot to take in…” Jame crouched down while silently crying

"Oh yea" Nautilus handed James the journal. "everything in the journal seemed fine so don't worry about lost pages." she explained, before glancing back at the remaining mess of wires "and it looks like we still got a bit of cleaning up..."

"at least we know what to expect when something like this happens again." Connie said, smiling. "But please no more wire mess tomorrow. I don't want to clean them up everyday."

James smiled “We won’t on purpose, even if we wanted to we couldn’t.” Suddenly a wave of wave came from behind and hit James, Marie backed up she was scared they’d already lose the humans that have only just came back, but she was shocked as he seemed perfectly fine
“Awww man, now I’m all wet again. Leci! Use Thunderbolt!” ‘Tross…?’ Leci used Thunderbolt which in a cartoonish way made him completely dry again

The remaining inklings and octolings, including Nautilus and Connie started at James in surprise. They couldn't believe what they just saw because by their physics, surviving water was considered illegal and impossible. yet here a human did it.

"How did you do that?" Nautilus asked, followed by a couple nodding heads.
