Margo's heart seemed to be ripping into little pieces, but she didn't show it. "Don't worry, It'll be alright. Just wait a second!" Her voice cracked a little at the end. The first thing she did was Dim her lights so she could concentrate energy. Then she used protect, and it whisked across the room to Linii's cage, covering the poor pokemon and pushing the water away. Second, She sent out a wave of Backwards energy drain, Using up her own energy to restore and heal the other pokemon around her. There was a sizzle as the water left Linni's fur, and a loud snap from Floria's leg as it set itself properly. Third, she whimpered slightly and collapsed to the ground, energy drained and unconscious.

"Impressive" Eris thought at the display of power. She had been hesitant to offer assistance to Linii and Floria, but it seemed she didn't need to. "Wonder what else she can do? Will this 'plan' she spoke of actually work?" For now though, she needed to wait. The others were mostly unconscious, either out of actual exhaustion or pain, leaving her to her boredom once again. As the room returned to darkness, she simply curled up, impatiently waiting for something to happen.

Floria felt her leg set itself and the pain slowly subside into a dull throb. She looked up, wondering what had happened, and realized the light had all but turned off. Her phobia shot straight through her brain, sending a jolt of fear through her body, but she composed herself, trying not to show it, despite knowing no one could see her anymore. Her second thought was confusion. What happened to the light?
And then worry. What happened to the shiny Eevee?? Floria's heartbeat grew quicker as she realized that if the light had turned off, something must have happened. She strained her ears for any more words from the kind Pokemon, but she heard nothing except shallow breathing and quiet sobs from other Pokemon. Panic threatened to take hold of her mind. With a quick shake of her head, she flicked her ears, her hoofs becoming slightly damp due to the leak. Her anxiety told her to assume to worst, but she knew this Pokemon must be stronger than she seems. Still, she wished to go help her, she wished to get out, she wished to let all these poor Pokemon leave safely and go back to living their happy little lives.
With a quiet, sad little huff, Floria gazed off into the darkness. The light had dimmed to no more than a faint glow, and her eyes strained to get used to the sudden change in lighting. Her ears picked up a multitude of sounds- cries, frustrated growls, hisses and clangs ringing out, coming from Pokemon desperate to escape. Floria shared their discomfort, their unhappiness, their desperation, but she knew better than to strike out in a feeble attempt to escape. Nothing good would come of it.
With a sigh, she shifted her body, grateful to the release of pain in her leg, and fell asleep, exhausted from worrying, allowing her mind to succumb to the doubts and anxieties that swirled just beyond reach, trying to swallow her whole.
That sleep, she had a nightmare.

Linii felt the droplets of water dissolve and evaporate of her fur and cage. She almost cried with relief. The mega stone on her tail was starting to regain its colour, almost, but not quite. *Thank you to whoever that was!* she cried. As a token of happiness, she shone her tail into the air, creating a bubble of bright light which enveloped the darkness and warmed all the Pokemon. Linii felt so happy that she couldn't hear the dripping anymore. Thank Goodness....

Her strength came back to her, buzzing in her veins. She swiped at the bars and it bent slightly. She smiled. As she sat there, she thought of a plan to get out, to get back to her homeland. The other Pokemon had helped her sure, but all she wanted to do was get away from society, and live on her own again. She would help them, and fight for them, but she isn't tame and won't stay in the same place forever.

After a fretful sleep, Floria woke up to the sound of... nothing, actually. It was surprisingly quiet. Leftover strands from her nightmare still hung in the air around her, and she tried not to think about them, but they were very persistent. Floria twitched her ears. There was little to no sound in the air, but Linii had shone new light into the cages, and Floria was silently grateful. Her fear of the dark had surfaced as she was being experimented on, constantly being left alone in a pitch-black enclosed space, with no way out, never being able to relax or get any sleep, worrying about when the next human would come and take her to be tested on again. She shuddered, taking her thoughts away from those. She was glad to see that Linii seemed to be doing better. A deep hole was still very much present in Floria's chest, but at least it was slowly closing. It didn't matter that it wasn't closing fast- it mattered that it was closing, and that was what Floria focused on. Now that she had woken up, Floria figured she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep, so she shifted in her cage, still being careful of her leg, and re-positioned herself, watching the steady stream of water drip onto her floor, slowly dousing her hoofs in damp liquid.

Ribbon flicked his ears as light inconsistently shown throughout the cages. Most of the crying had settled down now, which he was glad for, but he could tell most of them were still awake. He gave a quiet sigh. None of this was supposed to happen, but it did and he couldn't do anything about it. He could only sit here and mope. The others were communicating with each other, scheming to get out, and he had almost scoffed. There was no use. They would be torn apart from their friends eventually, they would be caught, they would be tortured again. He curled up, wrapping his fluffy tail around himself, and closed his eyes. Part of him said that if he willingly went Insane, he would have the power to break free, but he would never be able to get himself back in control and would likely kill the rest of the Pokemon in the process, so he vetoed that idea immediately. It still popped back into his mind though, quietly pestering about the things he could do. The things he could have done...

Leah was glad that the Evee helped out or one of the others might have died there.Leah knew she was safe as she used protect a move they wanted to try cause it worked for most pokemon to see if she was still like the other Espeons.

Margo groaned slightly waking up. She noticed the light and squinted to adjust her eyes. She saw that Linii was happy, Floria was testing her leg, and basically, all around her, the pokemon were a bit happier. She was still exhausted, however, and it was hard to stay awake. It was night, and margo was ready to execute her plan, regardless of how tired she was. Her aching muscles creaked as she got up, and the Eevee prepared to speak. "Listen up!" There was almost an immediate response of silence, and the margo continued. "Tonight, I am beginning the plan, We all had a night of rest, if fitful. Now, I need you all not to do anything, because if you do, the plan will fail and we will all die here." She waited for the nods, then showed them all why her cage was bigger than theirs. She evolved into a Sylveon.

Eris saw the glow of evolution from her cage. "How is someone evolving in these conditions?" Perhaps the Pokemon who had spoken had something to do with it?? For now, she did as she was told, waiting for further instructions.

Floria immediately perked her ears to listen to the Eevee, of which she still did not know the name of. She listened carefully, and nodded earnestly, determined to do whatever it took to get out of here. Then, she watched in awe as the shiny Eevee evolved. She was shook. How could a Pokémon do that?! Just... evolve! Right then and there! And in these conditions? She decided not to question it, but it did give her slight hope. Maybe they really were getting out of here!

Ribbon was awoken by the sound of a voice. Twitching his ears, he moved his head up and looked out, seeing a shiny Eevee speaking up. He didn’t feel enthusiastic about escaping, especially since he had lost all hope a long while ago, but he was willing to try. He stood up and stretched, flicking his tail behind him. Just then, the shiny Eevee glowed with light for a split-second and evolved into a Sylveon. Ribbon was shocked and confused, but he didn’t say anything. This place was messed up, so he shouldn’t really be surprised, but still...
He shook his head. This might be their only chance of escaping. He’s got to give it a shot.

Linii watched in awe as the Eevee evolved. She thought that it must be a powerful Pokemon to evolve in these times. She accidentally swiped at one of her bars and it bent. It was close to breaking. She smiled. That was her ticket out of there. She could use one of her power amplifiers, something she hadn't done since she was being tested on, all those years ago. Linii winced, she didn't want to remember that. But she might have to do it, if she didn't have another plan. Linii was excited at the now Sylveon's plan but she was worried that it won't work. She would try to help though, definitely.

The blue Sylveon Reached her feelers through the bars of the cage and began attempting to unlock the simple slide lock on it. After about two minutes of working on the thing, it slid open with a soft snik.
Smiling, Margo slowly exited her cage, ran over to another cage, only to realize this one had a lock that required a key. of course, she thought angrily, realizing that it was an aipom inside. She growled loudly, shimmering as if she was evolving again. When the brief light vanished she was an Eevee again!
Without waiting another second, Margo shimmered a third time, evolving now into an espeon. Her red orb glowed menacingly, and she fired its energy at the lock, which quivered and almost broke but not quite.
Being an espeon, she had a shorter temper than when she was an Eevee, so she got angry at the lock. She shimmered, but she stayed shimmering for a bit longer, and when the blinding light faded, what stood before them seemed impossible. it was an espeon, but as if it had mega evolved!
The only weird thing was that it had a small X on its ear as if it had been inked in.
Margo crouched, and suddenly a huge red blast of energy silently flared out from her, passing through all the cages and dropping the locks to the floor. Then she swayed, shimmered twice, and fell to the ground, only half awake. All the doors had been unlocked that had locks, but the sliding locked doors had not, including Floria, Ribbon, and Linii.

Linii saw the other Pokemon being freed so she took her chance. Her door had a lock and she couldn't open it. So she mustered all her power, transfered it to her paws so they crackled with energy. She swiped at her bars as hard as she could and they melted from the sheer power. She laughed. *Anyone else want freeing?* She asked. To be helpful, she shone a bright light so the pokemon could see. She saw the Sylveon freeing the other pokemon and smiled. They were escaping...

Floria was in utter shock and awe. A mega-evolved Espeon?! How was such a thing even possible! She shook herself. There was no time to dwell on the matter, she looked like she needed help! She saw a light shine from Linii’s cage and realized that her friend had gotten out as well. She finally decided to stop sitting around doing nothing, and with a grunt, she stood up and prepared her attack. Her grey flower flickering with red, fiery sparks, she inhaled and shot a blast of heat at her cage door, melting the locking mechanism and opening it. She gave a cheerful snort and pushed the door open fully, walking out, the heat from the recently-blasted metal not bothering her. She figured anyone who had seen that might be a tad bit confused- ”how could a deerling use a fire-type move?” -but she didn’t bother dwelling on it. With a huff, she glanced around, seeing Linii up-close for the first time. She smiled at the Luxray, then looked around again. It looked as though everyone’s cage had been opened. Then she saw one that was a little ways away from the shiny Eevee’s cage, still locked and closed, with barely any space in-between the bars so she couldn’t tell what Pokémon was inside. She looked back at Linii. “You go help the Eevee- or, Espeon, please, I’ll get the last one.”
Without bothering to wait for a reply, she dashed through the cages and reached the locked one.

Ribbon watched as all the Pokémon were freed. Just his luck that his was one of the only ones that didn’t open. He gave a low rumble in his chest, but didn’t complain. Not like it was that important anyways. He heard the other Pokémon breaking out themselves, and he sighed. Resting his head on his paws, he closed his eyes.
He was startled awake by a gentle but firm voice outside his cage.
“Hello?”
Immediately on guard, Ribbon growled in response. He got no answer, but whoever had asked seemed to be satisfied. Just then, there was a blast of heat, (not bothering Ribbon as he’s a fire-type), and the door slid open. Standing outside of it was a strange-looking autumn deerling with a greyed flower. How... did this deerling make that heat blast? I thought Deerling were only normal/grass? Ribbon wondered. But he pushed those questions away for a different time. Standing up, he shook out his fur and stepped out of the cage he had been rotting away in for so long. The rest of the Pokémon had already come out of their cages and were all waiting around anxiously for their next instruction.

Hearing the other cages opening shocked Eris. She hadn't heard anyone enter, so it must be the Pokemon's doing. The locks from her cage fell and she was blinded slightly even with the dim light of the room. Blinking a few times helped and she was able to really see the others. "Not too bad a group. Might have some..." She ended that train of though quickly. She wouldn't go that far with them. It was only for now that she would work with them, maybe...

Linii launched a thunderbolt which broke the bars of all the Pokemon that still remained locked, they were all free. *So, what's next?* she asked all the Pokemon. Her paws still tingled with the remaining electricity. She didn't believe they would escape so quickly, but she didn't complain. She fur tingled, she looked around and saw the other Pokemon. She narrowed her eyes, Linii didnt't trust some but she kept her suspicions to herself. She prowled around the cages, looking for any still-caged Pokemon. They weren't any. She walked to a group of Pokemon and listened to what they were saying...

Floria noticed the Flareon’s eye was slightly discolored, but she didn’t say anything. She could tell he was confused about her fire-type usage, but again she chose to say nothing. Instead, she turned and scanned the Pokémon all standing around, until her gaze fell upon the weakened Espeon that had helped them escape. Concern enveloping her mind, she ran over to check if she was still ok. “Hello? Are you alright?” She asked worriedly, crouching by the Espeon and checking her breathing. She didn’t seem to be dead, which was good, but she still needed to wait for a response and hope she didn’t fall unconscious.

Ribbon watched as the deerling bounded away into the midst of the Pokémon. He twitched his ears, picking up on multiple different groups of Pokémon muttering in hushed tones. His large ears were well attuned for picking up smaller or fainter sounds, unfortunately that meant that louder sounds hurt his ears much more than normal. He lifted up a paw and scratched his ear, the little chip that Team Rocket had attached in order to keep the Virus at bay bothering him. He growled softly and sat down, awaiting the next step in this glorious plan. They’ve all gotten out of the cages, sure. Now what?

Linii walked up to Floria. *Is that you, Floria?* she asked. She was happy to see the Pokemon that had been a comfort to her in her imprisonment. Linii pawed the ground nervously, the people who imprisoned them could notice they've escaped any minute now. She wanted to get out, fast. *Listen up!* she called out to the Pokemon. *I know we're thinking of a plan to escape the facility but we really need to quieten down and think, fast. Our captors could arrive any minute! So, get ready, 'cause we're breaking out of here!* she said excitedly. Her heart was pounding, this is it...

Floria nodded. “It is me.” She said. She stayed by the Espeon in case anything happened as she watched Linii speaking to all of the Pokémon, rallying them, giving them light and hope. She was proud, and she felt as if the giant, gaping hole in her chest was finally starting to close. She smiled. A genuine, happy smile. They hadn’t even escaped yet and Floria was filled with hope. She must admit, the large group of Pokémon all milling around and talking and bumping into and around her was starting to fill her with anxiety, but she did her best to push it down. They were finally escaping! It was finally time...

Ribbon listened as the Luxray talked to them. He couldn’t muster up much energy to care, especially since Team Rocket must already be onto what they’re doing, but he was still willing to try. He tried to pay as much attention to whoever was speaking as possible, but he felt his mind wandering. What was he gonna do when he got out? He couldn’t go back to his family, that ship sailed a long time ago. He didn’t want to go back to living alone. Maybe... maybe he could make friends here. He shook his head, snapping himself out of his mind. He told himself that was ridiculous. Don’t give yourself false hope! he scolded himself. They’re only going to betray you again.
With a sigh, he closed his eyes, but he kept his ears perked in order to hear further conversation. Maybe this thing really was going to work...

Linii glanced behind her and saw Ribbon. She didn't trust him. Her ears pricked up and her fur stood on end, it only did that when she sensed danger or someone untrustworthy around. She looked back to the front and narrowed her eyes. Ribbon looked suspicious. She carried on rounding up all the Pokemon, ready to escape the facility. But a nagging feeling slowly enveloped her, there were more untrustworthy Pokemon.
