Zaru groaned as pain blossomed in his chest and spread like the roots of a tree. His vision was completely red now and buzzing filled his ears. Spikes of pain dug into his head and he cried out. He staggered further into the forest and lay down, his eyes bulging.

Frost saw Zaru go past; he knew he was likely in grave danger. He stayed cautious, however, knowing how vicious some of the others can be. He froze up the rock Skorch kicked and the ground around it. He smiled, trying to get the Zeraoara off his mind for a small minute. He wanted to help... but knew that even if help was an option, he wouldn’t be the one to do it. Frost looked at Skorch with a consealing expression; “Well, who are you in the first place, then?”

Skorch looked at the curious Spinda and smiled. “Name’s Skorch,” he told him, “I kinda saved you while you were asleep yesterday at the lab.”

Enlightened, Frost smiled with a small amount of true joy on his face; “So that’s why I kinda woke up on your back. Makes sense. Anyways, name’s Frost. I’m sure we’ll get to know eachother better later on!”

Skorch smiled... his first smile in 19 years... “Yeah. We’ll be near with one another for a long time.”

Margo had fallen asleep and missed all of it. Her energy was restored a bit, but she still looked dull and empty. What has woken her up was a crash she guessed nobody else had heard, because there were no other reactions. She groaned, getting up slowly and stretching. She yawned, turning into the forest to see what the crash was. She hoped it was a tree, then she could get some bugs. She sauntered through the trees, bit a little way in the saw stunning writhing on the ground. She rushed over, and with she saw what it was she let out a scream of horror and despair. "No-o!" Her voice cracked and she tried evolving. She managed a Sylveon. And started pulsing fairy healing energy into the Zeraora. "Help. . ." She whispered, out of breath.

(Zary doesn't need healing, he's only calming down from his rage)

Eris watched Margo go in the same direction as Zaru had gone moments ago. She knew she shouldn't chase after them, but she couldn't help it. She saw what transpired in sorrow. She knew that they couldn't truly help Zaru, but Margo still tried. She had to admit, the small Pokemon was rather brave. As Margo huffed and Zaru stopped writhing, Eris carefully floated over to the duo. Margo was still in her Sylveon form as Eris lifted the two Pokemon up and started to float back to the others, hoping that, despite everything, they would be ok.

Ribbon watched what was happening with a stone-set expression, but his mind was racing. Does that Zaru Pokemon have the Virus? I thought there was only one! Did Team Rocket give it to him like me, or did he find it in the wild himself?
So many thoughts coursed through his mind, knocking against each other and starting a buildup of anxiety. He shook his head to clear his mind, still keeping his face calm, though anxiety and worry crashed through his thoughts like a wave, drowning out any reason in sight. Margo didn't have enough energy to go about willy-nilly and just start healing them, she needed to heal first! And Zaru wasn't going to be "healed" anytime soon. At least, not with what they're doing. Ribbon couldn't do anything to help, so he laid his head back down, curled his tail around himself and closed his eyes. He kept his ears perked, however, listening to the commotion as more happened. He only looked as though he were asleep- his anxiety and worry for Margo was keeping him very much awake.

Eris was concerned for Margo and Zaru. They were unresponsive as she made it back to camp without incident. She set them down near the Flareon, since he was rather quiet and seem to have some sort of connection with Margo. Whatever that connection was she didn't know, but she was thankful that the experiments were making friends with each other. She proceeded to check over Margo and Zaru, worried that something deeper was going on with both of them.

Eris' concern only grew as neither Margo nor Zaru woke up or even stirred during her examination. Fear and curiosity poked at the edge of her mind as she ran a hand over the black veins on Zaru. "What is happening to him?" she thought. "If only I could help him...any of them... If only I wasn't u-" she shooed the thought before it could continue. She needed to focus on doing what she could. She retrieved the remaining berries that Flora had gotten her and placed them near the two Pokemon, ready for if they at least regained consciousness. Nodding to herself, she then turned her attention to the Flareon, who hadn't really moved since she came over. Looking him over, his positioning told her that he wasn't really asleep, but she didn't want to bother him, so she focused back on Margo and Zaru, waiting for them to wake up.

Skorch then looked over at what had happened to Magro and Zaru. He seemed frightened, as he slowly stepped away. Those humans... what have they done to them? he thought to himself. Frost was still watching as well, but he was not as unsure as he was before. He stepped a bit closer, but not too much as to be attacked as quick if they became hostile. Frost then sat down, making little ice packs out of blades of grass, and wrapping them in leaves. He looked up and placed them on the foreheads of both the unconscious pokemon. He smiled. At least he did something.

Eris couldn't help herself but smile as the blue Spinda placed icepacks on Margo and Zaru's head. She was thankful that someone else was helping out with the two Pokemon. "Thank you, for the icepacks." she said, and before she could stop herself, she pat the Spinda's head fondly, like they were siblings.

Ribbon's ears twitched as he felt the presence of both Margo and the Zeraora they called Zaru being laid next to him. His worry overwhelming him, he lifted his head from his curled position and glanced anxiously at Margo, who had passed out from exhaustion and power overuse. He noticed the grassy ice packs on top of the sick Pokemon's heads and smiled inwardly to himself. It seemed as though the experimented Pokemon were coming together after all. Spotting a movement out of the corner of his eye, Ribbon glanced up and saw an affectionate interaction between two of the experiments. Not wanting to make anything feel awkward, he lowered his gaze and focused on Margo. He gazed intently at her until he could spot the gentle rise and fall of her flanks as she breathed, and only then did he let out the breath he wasn't quite aware that he was holding. Shifting himself so that he could wrap his tail gently around Margo's back, he rested his head yet again and allowed the steady rise and fall of her breathing soothe him into an uneasy sleep. Though his ears still insisted on picking up every little detail about the environment around him out of sheer anxiety, Ribbon found himself being able to relax a bit as he was reassured that this Pokemon that had saved them all was still alive. He didn't dare call her a friend, though. Not yet. He wasn't that eager.

Floria stood up, shaking off stray strands of grass that had died and stuck to her fur. Linii had seemed to have fallen asleep, and her sides were rising and falling steadily as she looked the most peaceful that Floria had ever seen her. Granted, Floria had only known her for a few days, but still.
After she had made sure that Linii would be OK, Floria decided to check up on Margo and Zaru. She had noticed what happened and became worried. Also having grown bored simply laying around, she figured that a little exercise would do her good. She was longing to discuss her concerns about the weather and their current position with Margo, who seemed to have taken on the leadership role in the group, but she wouldn't ask until everyone was fully healed.
Trotting over to the now small cluster of Pokemon- the Flareon from earlier, Margo, Zaru, Eris, and a new Pokemon she hadn't seen before, who looked to be a blue Spinda with ice powers. Grateful for the Pokemon's willingness to help, she walked up to the group and sat down, introducing herself as Floria to the little Pokemon. "What's your name?" she asked. While she was speaking to the Spinda, her mind wandered over to the Flareon who looked to be sleeping next to them. He had grown close to Margo over the time that they had escaped, even if he seemed very closed off and reluctant for friendship, and she was glad that Margo had someone to confide in.

Eris soon turned back to Margo and Zaru, seeing the Flareon from earlier had his tail wrapped around Margo. She couldn't help but smile. At least the experiments had found comfort and solace in each other...
