Viola nodded, understanding the Espeon "you heard the psychic
eeveelution!" She started, standing beside Brayon and Psybee "We'll
recall our hostile Pokemon if you tell us what we need to know
first." Psybee nodded in agreement, raising his fist and chanting
'Yes' over and over again.
Ambrosia listened to everyone else, before speaking "I have a
Salamance of my own too, so if you don't tell us soon I'm calling
him out to brutally murder you!" To Bella and anyone who could
understand her, the last line was very, very harsh.
Shinobu signed and rolled her eyes, before speaking. "We at Shroud
Corporation have been looking for a group of trainers to assist us
in testing out some new battling equipment before we release it to
the public. You all have caught our eye, so we've been tracking you
down, and we invite you to our headquarters so you can take a look
at it."
Spiri seemed rather skeptical, judging by the reactions of all the
other Pokemon. Spectre wasn't nearly as aggressive as some of the
other pokemon were, but he was clearly on edge. She thought back to
the questions the people had asked them before...she wondered if
they knew more than they had let on. It was already suspicious
enough that they had encountered the Shroud team members so nearly
after receiving the message from mew.
She gave Viola an odd look; was the girl now claiming to have
understood Rend as well? Peculiar... When the silver haired woman
spoke, the girl's eyes widened slightly; she couldn't help but
admit to herself that this was somewhat appealing. Shroud
Corporation was huge! What on Earth could she have done to
"catch their eye", so to speak? Perhaps it was simply hanging out
with these other people; Lace herself wasn't a particularly strong
trainer. However, the more she thought about it, the more sketchy
it seemed. Could she politely decline? "Er, thank you, but..." she
began softly, then broke off, not wanting to speak for the other
trainers.
Xaiver trusted this woman as far as he could throw her, and he
wasn't exactly very athletic. Obviously there were more sinister
schemes underneath the blank and proffesional stare. He was smart,
he knew that, and he wasn't about to let his guard down. He didn't
care what the others thought, he snapped out loud, "I couldn't tell
you what the others think, but I for one don't trust you." As if he
needed comfrimation, for the first time, he heard his Bolthund
growl, and deeply. He did a double take when he swore he heard the
Pokemon snap, "Bad one."
