Margo gratefully took the butterfree from Leo, and began to eat it. she left the head, legs, and wings for the joltik. "You can finish it. don't protest, I've had less than this in a day before." She pushed the remains over to the joltik, and got up to walk to the other side of the street. she remembered this alleyway. This time she felt her eye change color to red, and her magenta eye glowed in pulses painfully. The dream from before came back to her, and her eye turned yellow quickly. Yellow meant sad, and she knew it. She felt the tears welling up in her eye, but she didn't let them fall. after a short moment of silence for her dead parents, she walked over to the joltik's tree. She tried to climb it, but lost her balance and fell off, landing on her feet. She decided to lay next to it, letting the snow pile up around her, encasing her in its cold embrace. She barely felt as the joltik cuddled up beside her.

Emerald would wave to Winter as he arrived. He seemed fairly relaxed and all. Nothing much seemed to be bothering him. Though he felt kind of restricted under such conditions.

Leo + Margo
A small group of knights...three of them. They would brush the snow off of Margo and Leo. "It's much too cold to be sheltering out here, shouldn't the two of you find some shelter?"
The other two knights seemed to be talking behind them. "What if they are...?"
"I don't think so...they don't seem to be Republicans."

Xatina wasn't really sure what to do-she had never been very good with emotions. She was one of those people who would rather take action. Still, it wouldn't feel right for her not to talk. It seemed as if there were others who shared the same ideas as her. Tentativley, she walked inside, unsure if that was alowwed. Still, this was a time to learn such things. So when she saw a group of students disscusing their greviances on the battle, she hesitatnely aproached the group. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but overhear what you were talking about." She dropped her voice a bit. "So is the School of Magic taking a side? It seems so nuteral.."

The students looked up at the Absol-Knight. "Well, the School of Magic is Loyalist mainly!" The first student, a Lilligant said. "All under Headmaster Atlas' influence!"
The second student looked up, this one was an Axew. "Yep! Loyalist mainly!"
The third student, a Cottonee. This one looked a little gloomy. "It hasn't stopped students who have graduated the basic program from joining the Republicans or going neutral. After all...if you're not staying in the school, there's no pressure to convert after all."
"That's what makes it so even!" The Lilligant exclaimed. "Even though the loyalists have many mages, that doesn't mean the Republicans won't be able to catch knights by surprise...I heard it was like that during the first few moments of fighting..."
"But that's why it's important to keep the mages out of Sleipnir Park...if battles between magic happen there, then the effects could very well be disastrous, since all mages will be more in tune with nature, the spells powers can be amplified..." The Axew said.
"Oh and don't forget! Magic ignores defenses! No matter how much armour you have, physical or spiritual, it will get through." The Lilligant continued. "However...that can be countered by training your resistance to magic!"

Xatina was surprised by the immeadient discussion change, but she supposed it didn't matter. She was still rather intrigued to hear this. She wasn't happy to learn that the knights had been caught by surprise. Still, Xatina wanted to hear what they had to say. If the School was mainly loyalist, then how did that affect the desicons that they made after graduating? "Has a mage ever become Republican?" She was mainly asking out of curiousity.

"Didn't I say there are mages who have joined the Republican side?" The Lilligant stated with a tilt of her head. Perhaps she didn't make the point clear enough. "Though...graduation hasn't been going on recently...especially with the recent tension. Students who haven't graduated have to stay in these halls...there's freedom outside in the training grounds but..."
"It hasn't been easy. We're only allowed supervised visits to our family from time to time. With knight escorts." The Cottonee stated. "If your family is Republican...then...well, you aren't allowed back into school. Your things...your tuition...it's all surrendered right there and then."
"But most students here have connection with knights anyway!" The Axew stated. "Most of them are Loyalists or Neutral at worst!"

Winter wasn't sure what to do now. Should he show his friend the crystal? He didn't want to, not now. Not after what the Shaymin had said...

Xatina wasn't surprised to see such a drastic reaction, but it still was rather normal in these times. "I see.." She did wish that there was something she could do. She didn't want to see anyone, especially those who were just trying to avoid all of this chaos, to be hurt. But they're really wasn't anything she could do, as a simple knight. It was just something tragic that they all had to face during this time..

Margo was so frozen, she didn't comprehend what the knights were saying until they had finished brushing off the snow.
She whispered with her teeth chattering "w-what? oh, n-no, I am a n-neutralist." she thought for a moment, then covered her sleeping friend. "and s-so is the j-joltik." Margo realized she couldn't move her legs, or any other part of her body except her head, but when she did the frozen blood under the woven scarf-like thing cracked, so she was afraid to. And it was getting hard to see out of her eye. "I cant m-move. . ." She tried moving her tail, but it was frozen to the ground. she finally gave up, and let herself submit to the cold, black void of pain.

“Hey Winter!” Emerald said cheerfully. “I hope everything’s been goi ng alright?” He leaned forward and whispered. “I can’t really move from here, someone’s keeping an eye on me.”

“Yeah! You’re all doing great! We trust that you can end this fighting peacefully!” The Axew followed up with a smile
Speaking of Professor Ryn, she didn’t seem to be in the school at the moment...

Margo and Leo
“Dearie me...let’s get them warm.” They melted the ice and carried them to the hospital. When they were there, hot chocolate and marshmallows would be prepared for them.

Xatina gave a shaky breath, before smiling. "Thank you for the encouragment. I'm sure I speak for all knights when I say that I hope to end this fighting soon, and make the Republicans see sense." There was no reason for her to become Nuteral. The School needed knights, and that included her. She had made up her mind-this silent debate would be set aside. Xatina glanced around her, and noticed that there seemed to be someone missing.."Is one of the professors gone, or am I crazy?"

Winter pulled away from him. "Oh boy..." As neutrals, they were going to be hella suspicious. It was a good thing Emerald had been busted out, otherwise they would have caused a panic back at base. He briefly considered the possibility of being put into prison too, but didn't let himself think about it for too long. For now, he needed to find a good place for the crystal discussion

After Margo was warmed up, she went to visit Leo in the other room. He was barely awake. Being the small, cold blooded Pokémon that he was, the cold snow had almost killed him. If he hadn't been next to Margo, she had a bad feeling he wouldn't be here. He was in a small incubator like thing, with an I.V. in one of his legs. His eyes opened when she walked up to him, and Margo whispered, "are you ok?"

Margo smile weakly. her face was still numb. she whispered "we are in the loyalist hospital. you almost died. you would have, if I hadn't kept you warm in the snow. you don't have to be scared of me you know. also, when the doctors tried to get your weaving off, they couldn't. they said it had 'bonded' to me, and would only come off if you and I both wanted it to." Margo felt weak. "I need food. I can get you something if you need it."
