As Audax headed towards the castle, he wondered if he'd notice more cult activity, now that he was aware of it. Maybe it was like learning a new word: once you knew it, you started hearing it everywhere. He headed inside. No one should question him; he was a squire now, after all. He lifted his hears and listened intently for some scrap of information anywhere, or any strange speaking.

The tickle caused the floof fox's eyes to burst open. The first thing he saw was a blurry riolu nose nuzzling and tickling him. "Stop it..." He rubbed his eyes with a paw, before playfully whacking Emerald on the head with it.

Audax
Now the bigger problem was...
“Oi you. What do you think you’re doing? Where do you think you’re going?”
Of course, since Audax was in disguise...the knights didn’t recognise him. As such, they barred his way in
Perhaps Audax forgot but, Yung had mentioned that the costume was for nighttime...

Winter
“You can’t get away from affection that easily Winter~.” Emerald teased playfully as he nuzzled Winter into the squishy bubble

Lumi was just waking up and she yawned

"Oh no! Not the cuddles!" Winter grabbed his friend with his front paws and rolled over him so that he was on top. He squished his floof into his friend

Winter
Emerald was laughing cheerfully. “Another day, another battle right? I wonder what we can find today?” He rolled over to squish Winter into the bubble

Audax
The knights looked at Audax tentatively, trying to figure out what to do

Winter giggled. "Right. Maybe we'll find something important today..." he trailed off, his playfulness turned to thoughtfulness. He wanted to learn more about the cult Jessiah was speaking to, as well as more about the Republican side. He had already discovered a training place that they used...maybe he could get more insider info today.

Audax turned around. He'd try again later. For now, he found a corner to get out of the costume with, and entered the castle to try and see if he could find a way to get access to the strategy.

Winter
“Alright, daytime operations. You’re going to the base right, and I’ll head to the arena? Audax is infiltrating the castle...since his public image is that he’s loyalist.” Emerald nodded to Winter and rested a paw on his floof

Audax + Xatina + Fortem
He was allowed entry this time but the guards were scratching their heads...wondering what that was about.

It was time for a strategy meeting. Today it was how to get innocents out of the battlefield, and where to protect.
They were also discussing about alleyways again; a follow up from yesterday

Winter nodded, pulling away from Emerald and making his way toward the portal. He was actually rather excited about what he may possibly find today.

Both Fortem and Audax headed towards the room from different directions; Audax got lost on multiple occasions, more than he would have liked to admit... when he arrived, all the other pokemon had already come. He only hoped they would be lenient because he was new. Fortem caught his eye from across the strategy table, and he smiled. Now wasn't the time to talk; but they'd have to catch up on information after class.

Loyalists....and the 'not-so-loyalists
"Alright now. The main fighting has been going on for a few days now." The Blaziken from the strategy meeting put his hands on the table. "Now, the excitement seems to be over, however, it seems as though we're now looking at surprise attacks from the Republicans...instead of all out fighting in one confined area, we predict that now, there will be attacks launched on sight So be on your guard.

The Blaziken looked around at all the knights that were attending. "Now, be aware to familiarise yourselves with the layout of Luminia, along with all the alleyways and corners that potential enemies could be hiding in." He sighed. "I'd want this to end with as little casualties as possible. From both sides. I'm certain that my fellow generals will agree with me."

Republicans...and the Republicans-on-the-wrong-side
A similar meeting was happening in the base of the Republicans deep in the Anthian District. However...
"Do not be afraid to cause injury." Jessiah said, slamming a claw on the table. "If we can put loyalists out of commission for some time, that will up our chances of bringing a swift end to the fighting. And we will have our voices heard once again, we will bring everyone out of poverty.

In the arena though, those who had went to the arena first would miss out on the meeting. But a summary would be read out by Dart later regardless, so no one minded.

Emerald happened to be at the Arena. He trusted in Winter to be at the base, and sneak around.

Xatina listened carefully to the Blaziken, nodding. As few causilties as possible would be the best outcome. No one should have to be hurt for the Republicans to see sense. If there was a way to do so, Xatina would find it. But she couldn't stop thinking about the fighting and the chaos. It was horrible just to think about. "Sometimes I wonder if the Nuterals had the right idea," she muttered under her breath, glancing around and hoping that no one heard that. For now, it was best that she take the general's order and familiarize herself with the rest of Lumina. Too bad she didn't know any of the knights that well, she would just have to go alone. Though it did make Xatina nervous, thinking of all the rutheless Republicans.

Turns out Winter had been wrong to think the Republicans would be less violent than the loyalists...it seemed like the Garchamp leader wanted to use brute force to end the war quickly. Winter doubted that would happen. He winced, thinking about the bloody battles ahead.

At least the Blaziken cared about lives, both pokemon thought. There were definitely some pokemon on either side who didn't do the same. If only they would think of each other as fellow pokemon and not strangers, Audax thought. "We could try using less fatal moves," Fortem suggested. "I mean, not ones that would kill, only enough to knock out." Audax thought hard for a way to try and counter surprise attacks at every area. Both pokemon looked at the map.

Loyalists
"That's the aim of course." The Blaziken nodded towards Fortem. "Now gather around...and look around the map. Just remember to look for where you'd like to be. And make sure you'd be aware of the situation around the area, in case someone jumps on you. Though, you may attack any Republican you see on sight. That is Dainn's orders."

Republicans
"Whazzat? You have something then speak up!" Jessiah slammed a fist down onto the table at the Krokorok. "Well...we don't actually want to take lives...do we?" The Krokorok definitely looked uncomfortable about causing casualties.
"Hell no! No of course not. We have no need to take lives. All I'm asking for you is to knock them out." Jessiah said calmly. "Be that as they may, they are still Luminians. Fellow people."

Hmm? What was going on? Fortem seemed to know, so Audax just did as he did, and looked at the map. A pretty accurate depiction of the castle caught his eye and he observed it. Fortem looked around the map before deciding on a little side street near the school of magic.

Clamor spotted Emerald from across the way, and quietly and carefully went to stand behind him, not wanting to disturb anyone.

Loyalists
“That is all for now. Remember that you should avoid harming the innocents.” The Blaziken said with a final nod

Dalsin stood back, looking thoughtful...he wondered where the winds would take them today.

Republicans
“We’re all done here. Now get out there, and let’s find a weak spot to break through the knights. Make us proud.” Jessiah said

Emerald turned around and a smile blossomed. He leapt back as a bubble formed beneath him, allowing him to land on the soft bubble while sitting down

Leo le Joltik

The joltik had been asleep in its tree for a little while and finally came crawling out. The bug type was yellow and black, its fur was completely a mess. They tiny electric critter was groggy as at laidletting it legs hang over the side of the branch.

*The abipom grabbed Margo by the tail, and she squeaked in terror. She was swung painfully from side to side as the abipom ran with her. As it neared the river - the scariest thing in the world in marogs short lived opinion- it said "now you're gonna join your parents, where you belong. a tear fell from her eye as an image crossed her mind. two sylfeons, one male and one female, lying together with their throats a bloody mess. there was purple abipom fur all over. The abipom stopped and help her over the river. It's second tail hand came around, and flew towards her throat. it still hit, but not hard enough to kill Margo as she jerked back. she played dead however, and the abipom flung the eevee into the river.*

Margo hissed and fell out of the tree. *just a dream, Margo, you're O.K.* She shook herself, and looked at the sun. it was nearly noon. *I must have been exousted.* The umbreon walked past the guard training area to go look for some food. After a moment, she noticed she was limping slightly, and each time the moved, she felt something on her neck. Then next time she walked past a window, - it was near a tree with a sleepy looking blue striped joltik in it- she stopped to examine her reflection. There was a lump on her leg -not to bad- and it looked like she got another scar across her chest. But the worst of all, was a huge gash on her neck, that was covered in crusted blood. she turned and tried in vain to look at it, and nearly blacked out as it reopened and blood gushed out.

Mordred stretched, jaws parted in a squeaking yawn. Her ears flattened and eye squinted with exhaustion, she felt heavy when she stood. Tail drooped and dragging on the ground, a lazy smile crossed her face. She glanced at the dry wood she had gathered with Emerald the other day, stretching out her back legs. After resting a few days, it wouldn’t take long until she was fully energised.

Veil had vanished recently, but those who knew of his existence was sure he wouldn’t have gone far. After all, he put emphasis on coming, thus leaving at this point would be pointless.
