"Winter." The foreign apprentice clarified. He wouldn't expect this Leafeon to know him too well, him not even being a familiar face in his home Kingdom. That would all change soon, however. Or not. That's fine too. He told himself. For Arceus's sake! Being a hero was not about being famous! He thought back to his purpose of calling to this creature. Right. "Your name is Summer, I believe?" He didn't wait for a response. "Are you okay?"

Fortem's heart sank as he watched Emerald pad away. What had happened to his positivity and energy? The situation seemed to have affected him greatly. He took a couple steps towards him, before halting, and turning back. Someone might realize he was out when he should be back in the castle... A rope of guilt seemed to squeeze around his neck as he padded away, not sure how to help his friend. As he approached the castle, he made a realization: was it his loyalist status that Emerald had left him for?

Audax sat back stressed and watched, not sure if he should say anything... "What are you doing?" He whispered as he paced uncomfortably. Strong dark magic... that had to be bad news for someone out there, probably the republicans...

Clamor nodded gratefully - it was hard to tell if it was greatful, but nevermind, hopefully Harringale got the message. He lay down on a beanbag chair and imagined what he'd say to someone about luminia's government if he could.

Aero slithered back home to hide again. She decided to go take a nap for the rest of the day instead of slithering about due to the tension. She headed towards the nearest couch and curled up onto it to sleep.

Meanwhile, Aether headed towards the Republican base, it would be his first time visiting so he was a bit nervous. He sighed as he saw the fletchinder at the entrance. Harringale. He has heard about him before, but hasn't really met him in person until now.

We're truth seekers and artists, perched on the boundary as we search for an answer.

“Hmm” fate hummed “Maybe my forme change is because of this big disagreement” she grumbled, before wickedly morphing into a giratinam then herself, causing her frown to worsen “I hate legendaries she murmured, before floating down and arriving at Dainn “greetings” she said weakly, her form still shaky around the lines

"The tension is affecting everyone and it's certainly hitting some people worse then others..." She then turned her head around and saw something. "I do believe that's Emerald walking off to the suburbs..."

Winter turned around to see the shadow of the Riolu walking off into the distance. Was Summer hinting he should follow him? He turned back to the cafe owner. "I hope things get better for you." He said with genuine sympathy. These were the things he hoped to avoid in his own Kingdom, which was admittedly way smaller than this, yet still...he turned to race after the Riolu. "Good luck!" He called, not certain if his words would mean anything

Dainn had seen Fortem walk in, probably... great. Thankfully, no one else had. A a little cowardly, Fortem decided to avoid the situation by just returning to his room, which was near the main hall. When he listened with his sharp ears, he could still hear the makings of conversations. He knew eaves-dropping probably wasn't the nicest thing to do... but it was a smart and easy way to know the happenings of the city.

"Don't agree with...?" Audax's fur bristled uncomfortably. He had a few guesses about what his teacher was talking about, but he didn't want to assume anything. After all, he might miss out on some information... Either way, the use of powerful magic could really tip the scales in this war of sorts, and Audax wasn't sure if that would be a good thing.

Ah, a new recruit... Clamor liked to introduce himself to members he hadn't met. He actually knew the names of almost everyone in the room. It would be important for the people to work together to achieve their goals (that was the point of the republicans, to him), and it would be easier if they at least knew a little about each other. He flicked his tail as he watched the recruit speak to Harringale.

That's when she realized, she wasn't supposed to be in here. Of course. Xatina always wandered into places without thinking of what the consequences should be. At least this time she could escape without a price. Hopefully. She quietly slipped out before anyone could even notice she was there, blinking at the sudden amount of light. Things were so tense latley...Knights and rebels alike evreywhere. Xatina was hoping she wouldn't run into anyone and start talking. Cause that usually got her into trouble.

He then left to go up to Fortem's room. He knocked on the door loudly

"But regardless...there has to be someone that has to wield each sacred tome. I'm the only one who can wield Gleipnir. There are multiple copies of this tome of course...but...No one has ever reached this far." She stated calmly.

She would run into one of the knights on the way out. "Ah Xaltina, is everything alright in the School of Magic?" There wasn't going to be any consequences of her being in there, especially since she was on the same side as the one in control of the facility

"Oh, hi! Yeah, evreything's okay. Just wasn't sure if I should be in there or not." She knew that she could cause trouble, a lot, so Xatina was always careful to make sure she knew what she was doing. At least, most of the time. This had been one of those slip ups.

Winter's pawsteps slowed down as he reached his friend, and the shop. 'Bubble Emporium'... He read the label silently, and suddenly he felt an unusual bit of amusement flutter in his chest, considering the circumstances. Of course Emerald would come here...Winter had always known him as the bubble guy. That, and he heard his 'brother' Hiro owned the place. He hovered nervously behind his friend, afraid to interrupt him.

Ah... of course, Dainn would be here to ask him about his trip. The firm, loud knock on his door was undeniably from the capitain of the knights. He hung up his dark brown coat, before opening the door nervously. He needed to come up with something to say on the spot. Luckily, he wasn't too bad at it. "Welcome, Capitain Dainn," Fortem greeted. He hadn't spoken one on one with the gallade for a long time, and he didn't know whether to use formalities or not. The current atmosphere sort of called for them, though.

Audax gave a small but relieved nod, pretty pleased that someone was on the same page as him about the situation. "I won't tell," Audax whispered. I... actually agree, he thought to himself, but didn't have the boldness to say it. After all, there were ears everywhere. "I should get going..." He wasn't actually sure where he would go afterwards, but he wanted to find somewhere to relieve his stress. He nodded at Thea before padding away.

Fortem would expect nothing less from an experienced knight. Dainn was very observant. "Nothing, I just went for a walk," He smoothly lied. "I was just... thinking about... you know," It was actually only half a lie. He did go for a walk, and he was thinking about the unrest in the city, but he just left out some details... which did add to his guilt, however.

Xatina gave a sigh of relief. "Oh thank goodness. I hate getting in trouble." But now Xatina wanted to something else. Then again, with all of this Loyalist and Republican stuff going on, Xatina didn't know where she could properly go. "This is a stupid question, but where should I go? I need to stretch my legs, but I don't want to get in a bad place."

If Emerald sided with the Republicans, he did not want to go against him...not because Emerald was strong, because Dainn would easily outmatch him. But it was the fact that his other friends...what would they think? Striking down a child...

Fortem shrugged, averting his gaze. He could guess what Dainn was thinking about. To be honest, he himself didn't want to fight against the republicans much. There were so many innocents on either side... he just wished everything could go back to the way it was a year ago, being ruled fairly and getting to hang out with his friends.

"Right! Sleipnir Park!" Xatina nodded. "I think that's where I'll go." Xatina bounced once, before getting ready to hurry off. "Thanks for the tip!" At least not she had something to do. Xatina had never stayed that long at the park, so this would be her first time. She was partly excited, but partly terrified that she wouldn't do her job right. But she would certaintly try.

"Really? I think I heard you talk about it." He murmured, padding closer to Emerald's side. "This was where you and Typhoon messed around, yes?" He recalled that the old headmaster had talked about it with him on one of his visits to Pastel town back on the surface. His eyes glittered. He would have loved to rush inside and loose himself with his childhood friend, but he supposed that might not be possible for a while.
