Xaiver gritted his teeth. "We will serve Kyrem, and gain our own
parts of this world. I've always had a fondness for the Kalos
Region." He paused. "Kyruem would reward you wealthily if you were
to assist us."
Meanwhile, Mystin was starting to get dizzy from the blood loss
from his leg. "Is there two ceilings or one?"
Slicing the rock with her sword, Riko pulled him toward her.
"Nononono. You are not passing out, my dear." She began shaking
him, taking off her cloak to bandage his leg.
"Hmm." She looked thoughtful. Admittedly, the idea of ruling a
region of her own was quite tempting. She could get back at all
those humans who'd tried to... "Is that so?"
The flying-and-psychic-type legendary lay motionless beneath the
collapsed rocks, still unconscious. Her wrist had been shattered
beneath a boulder, a jagged shard of a stalactite had pierced her
side, and blood trickled from a cut above her eye, amongst other
injuries. Darkness enclosed her; no light penetrated that far into
the cave. The faint sound of a trickling stream and the occasional
dislodging of a pebble or two by her shallow breathing were the
only perceivable sources of motion.
"No." She growled. "You are not allowed to die." In her canine
jaws, Meka lifted the Lugia and flung her over her back. She then
thundered through the cave back to the others on monstrous
paws.
She lifted again, grinning maniacally back. "And where would that
be, do you suppose?"
Mystin clapped his hands weakly. "Horray! Er-is she okay? Does she
need help?"
Xaiver folded his hands behind his back. "Allow me to explain. Just
as in Hoenn, in Kanto, there are gyms and badges. To earn the
boulder badge, one travels to Pewter City and battles Brock."
Blood from the gash above Tidal's left eye stuck in her hair. Her
usually pale skin was nearly white. The wrist that had been broken,
that being the right one, was clearly shattered, the hand hanging
unnaturally. Meka's Arcanine fur was becoming stained by the wound
in the Lugia's side.
Mystin grimaced. "Okay, not good. Does anyone know any healing
moves?" He tried to get up, but immeadiently fell again. He
continued to struggle. "Cause if not, we need to get Tidal help,
and fast."
Mystin succeeded in standing up. "Pokemon Center it is."
Xaiver shrugged. "Not far, not far. But I trapped one of their own
under some rocks, we should be able to make it there before them."
He began walking through the enterance, and running into the
surrounding forest. "Let us be off then!"
Her body flopped limply to the ground as the Mew transformed
beneath her. Still, she remained unconscious, her breathing slowly
becoming ragged and irregular. (I'm really milking this, aren't I?
XD)
Mystin stumbled over to her. "I can carry her, I won't be much help
in other ways, Meka, could you help us get out quickly? We need to
get her help, fast."
