Kingdom of Aeraya
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Kingdom of Aeraya"Why hello!" Charmer greets Joy warmly. "You are a bit early, the circus isn't going to start until [insert specific night here]"
The incantation was complete, the entity was taking shape. All sound and light in the room was pulled towards the center of the circle, and a mass of grey matter had started forming, slowly expanding as time went on. After about a minute, the grey mass expanded rapidly, filling the circle to the maximum. Thousands, maybe millions of small eyes opened, taking in the room all at once. A large voice sounded, as if from a planet. Seven tentacles slithered out from the entity.
Taking a breath of air, Tirik spoke. "It is I, Tirik Aon of Aeraya. I have summoned you to assist me in the destruction of a plot against this mighty Kingdom. I charge you to obey my orders until I dismiss you at the end of the Fifth Sunset." The mass of eyes and flesh seemed to ponder over this.
Of course he did. Tirik had read the book more than seven times, and knew higher beings required a vessel to exit their circle. A simple decorated coin could be an example. Or, in this example, a hat. Not only did it offer the entity better coverage of the area, it gave it a better idea of what the Mage might be thinking. Plus, it would hold the entity far better than a small coin. As a Marid, the entity held an immense amount of power. So much that it left a trackable trail of magic wherever it may go. Although Tirik did have a terrible headache, he spoke and moved with certainty. Holding out his hat, Tirik watched as the entity seemed to shift through different stages of existence. Slowly, it was siphoned into the hat, before it was fully absorbed with a seemingly satisfied slurp. Putting on the hat, Tirik spoke. "I must meet with the Queen of this Kingdom before your work is needed, Beelzebub. You may put yourself at rest for the moment." Although there was no response, Tirik could feel the hat "settle down" as the entity relaxed within the borders of the object. Stepping out of the curtained room and out of his workshop, Tirik made his way towards the gardens, where he knew the Queen would likely be.
"Who's the head of the circus? Will they also take part?"
They stretched their arms and walked over to a corner in the room, almost teeming with blankets and tapestries on the floor, which would be the case for the entire room if no one convinced them to tidy it up a tiny bit. The corner had a little cushion plopped in the middle with a very small table in front of it, setting a candle, a bottle of ink and a quill. They opened their bag and dug inside to get a piece of paper, starting to flap it around to get the glitter off. They hadn't thought about how this entire operation would leave the floor. Glitterful. "Oh sh... fiddle.. sticks" They kicked the glitter off a little and scattered it around more widely so it seemed less messy, but that is relative. Nonetheless they continued, closing the door and any curtains in the room. They sat on the pillow, lighting the candle on, and then put the paper on the table and started writing.
It seemed whatever they were writing did let off a load in their chest. They looked over the letter once and twice, adding little hearts around the glitter that couldn't get off the paper. A perfect touch-up. "Great, awesome, exquisite." They whispered to themselves and sighed, then stretching their back. "Gods I should work on my posture" They rubbed their back and sat up, very less hunched, now. They stared at the letter again and brought their right hand over it. With a deep breath, they flicked their index finger against their thumb and the letter floated for a second, engulfing itself in a tiny purple-pink flame, which spread from the corners to the center, and disappearing after it was all 'burned'. They knew it was considered too early for this in their schedule but they couldn't get things off of their mind otherwise. This may be helpful to him, too, so they just shrugged the weird timing off. They'd all understand.
They blew out the candle, got up and opened their curtains again. Another deep sigh escaping their chest, they went to walk around the castle again. They were still a little fidgety and maybe this could get them back to themselves.
"I'm looking forward to your performance!" she added, trying to change subject. "Do you perhaps have any sort of flyers I could have or...?"
