Glancing at the remains of the mist on the woman's hands, Tirik sniffed. Putting the vial back, he nodded slowly. "Your wife, hm? So you're part of the circus as well?" Tirik had to bite his tongue to keep from spitting an insult at the man. "Tell me, what act do you two have?" After a moment, he spoke again, to Peter. "I can tell you're not..." The Mage trailed off, staring at something among Peter's coat. "The ringleader." Blinking, Tirik seemed to come back from somewhere far away. He seemed miffed at the fact that he'd gotten taken back to a time far away while talking to somebody, and it also seemed he hadn't realized what he said. At least, hadn't connected the two fractions of the sentence.

"Correct" Summoning up some more courage, Peter approaches them and places his hands protectively on her shoulders. "She is the ringleader and a very good one too, you just have to give her a chance." He opens his mouth to answer Tirik's first question but is interrupted by Charmer.
"You're interested in our acts? As much as I would love to tell you, I can't. There's no fun in that. Why don't you take some time off and attend the circus?" Her smile shifts from amused to friendly as she adds "we would love to have you"

Biting his tongue again, Tirik forced a response out. "Very well. When is your first performance?" His words were slow, as if he were selecting them very carefully and precisely from a large wall of potentially... Unfriendly words. His hands were clashing each other tightly, so tightly that hit they had turned white, including his fingertips. That was rare, as his fingertips were usually red from use. Or blue, depending on the chalk.

Once again, Charmer seems to be ignorant of Tirik's agitation or be disregarding it all together. She pridefully lifts her chin up. "We actually hold one grand performance! We don't like to stay in one spot for too long. Our performance is [insert date because I don't know if I want to do it tonight RP time or tomorrow night]"
"But it's not uncommon for us to stay longer" Peter reminds her. "We've had times where the king himself had requested we stay longer. Our-..plans take time"

Tirik nodded, then bit his lip. "I might arrive a few minutes late. Surely that's alright? As is with working in the palace, I'll likely have some very important work to finish." Tirik, knowing that they didn't know he was a Summoner, gave himself a mental smile. He'd be able to summon something big with that excuse, big enough to be invisible to the human mind. And big enough to strike multiple targets at once, if his suspicions were true.

"We understand if you arrive late, anyone can enter at any time. Be careful to not come too late, we don't want you to miss the show" Charmer replies. The pair excuse themselves and walk off. "What a nice man" Charmer tells Peter brightly before she stops all together and spins back around to face Tirik. "Wait, you still didn't tell me what that spell was earlier! I'm not going to die right?" She asks with a giggle

"No, no. It was off of a hunch. To see if you'd had any contact with magical objects. It's made from the fecal matter of a rare creature found.. Oh, you probably don't want to hear anything about that though." That had been a lie. It was actually made from something much worse (that I'll refrain from mentioning here because it's not very child appropriate).

As expected, disgust appears on Charmer's face. Now slightly humiliated, she takes Peter's arm- who doesn't seem to want Charmer to touch him now that he knows what she is covered in. They hurry back to where the circus is being built; at least over there she'll have accesse to some water so that she can cleanse herself. "Nevermind what I said earlier, he is not a nice man" she mutters

Chuckling to himself as the two ran off, Tirik patted himself down. It seemed he still had everything he'd come down with, so he turned and entered the castle again. Finding the staircase again, he took the steps two at a time. Running to his workshop, he threw open the door. Throwing back a curtain in a far corner, the Mage revealed another raised platform with more circles carved into it for tracing. But this one was much, much larger than the other in the main room. Grabbing a book from a table, Tirik flipped to the classification index, then scanned through it. Tapping a label, he flipped about three quarters of the way through the book, then looked under the demi classes. Scanning through them, he smiled to himself. "Found you." Flipping the pages, he ended on a diagram of a circle, along with a set of words, and a large... Creature. It was intimidating, to say the least, but Tirik was focused on the fact it could see everything, magical, physical, and otherwise. If the circus was a thief's scam, it would know. Grabbing a piece of chalk, Tirik started to draw, copying from the book.
Ah, so you, O Mysterious and Curious Soul, have come to seek answers in the abyss?

Do you know what lies beyond?

Do you want to?

Or has your curiosity reached a nervous end?

"Nearly there?!? My, I guess I truly have never been there. Your kindness and loyalty towards the Royal Family will not go unrecognized. Do you perhaps know what's happening over there?" she motioned towards the general direction of where the circus was getting built.

Hearing voices and feeling footsteps in the halls, Tirik set down his chalk and looked out the door. "Oh! Princess! I wasn't.. Wasn't expecting you. A moment, please?" Stepping back into the door, he started tidying up a few things, such as the numerous and seemingly endless shelves, or the stacks of open book that had never been put back on the shelf. Setting a table upright, he grabbed a few light blankets off the ground and tossed them into a corner, where there were pillows and another blanket. Finally, pulling the curtain into the other room shut, Tirik sighed. "Alright." Inviting the Princess in, he thanked the guard, then leaned against a wall. "How might I be of service to you, Highness?" This was followed by a bow, as usually seen when Tirik spoke with the Royals.

"Sorry for the inconvenience!" she said as she rubbed the back of her head, dismissing the guard. "My Mother wishes to talk to you. I'm afraid I do not know what for, however. Worry not. I'm sure it's not that serious, and I'm definitely sure you're not in any trouble." Marigold's tone when she asked Joy to fetch Tirik was quite serious but she couldn't personally identify any ill intent.

"She'll be waiting for you in her garden." she added.

Tirik nodded, pondering over the idea of the Queen requesting a meeting with him. "I see. Anything else I could help with?" Closing a book behind him, he picked up a few objects and pushed them onto the shelves, then picked up the book and slipped it into the bookshelf. "Surely there's something. A problem with your Guardian? Maybe you want a more comforting appearance for it?" By his body language and voice, one could tell he was fully serious about the idea.

"Uhm, yeah that's all I really wanted!" She opened her coin pouch, taking out the coin. Touching her thumbs and middle-fingers together and calling out "Dimitti" the Guardian materialised. "Look! It has made quite a bit of progress." she said as she proudly pointed towards her, specifically at her armour and elegant sword. "Its name's Onna!" she smiled, yet the guardian remained inexpressive. "I really like how elegant and dynamic it looks, I'm fine as it is thank you very much."

She called her Guardian back. "I'll probably go and check out what's happening over there." she pointed with her head towards the area of the circus. "I don't really have anything else to do." she shrugged.

Noah concentrated on the piece of paper. After a while, he noticed nothing happened to the piece of paper. He sighed, but didn't notice the multiple clones of the piece of paper that seemed to be floating around the room. He looked up at his father apologetically and then refocused on the paper. Why wasn't anything happening? He wondered. Little did he know that a few more clones of the paper were beginning to form around him.

((The clones aren't real, once someone touches them their hand goes through :]))

Cooper watched scenes unfold in front of him. His eyes wandered a little. He decided to go back outside to the castle grounds and tend to the shrubbery and grass. As he did this, he slowly grew tired and fell asleep behind a bush.

Tirik nodded, then spoke. "I'd advise keeping your Guardian summoned during the show. More than a few times, there've been circuses that rob their attendants. I don't trust the circus, but I'll be attending later in the show. After a bit of required precautions, of course." At that, the Mage gestured vaguely at the closed curtain on the far side of the room.

Charmer was so distracted by her urge to change her clothes and rid herself of Tirik's spell she barely had time to notice that her team had made quick work. The tent was already set up. Now everyone could focus on prepping the inside of the tent. Charmer feels a familiar feeling of excitement as she stares at the tent. It makes her think of her first time joining the circus, how long ago was that now? A few years at least. It amazed her that they have been doing this for so long and yet nobody has ever heard of them.
-Then again? Did she really want people to know who they are? Surely that would make it difficult for them to throw these shows?
"What was that about?" Peter asks Charmer. She jumps in surprise- having not heard him approach her. "I know that you know better than to speak to mages? I thought you had everything covered?"
"We aren't going to be able to enter the castle" Charmer replies. "Which means we won't get a chance to-" she sighs. "Maybe we should stay longer? Trust me, it'll be worth the stay"
"I don't know about this Charmer" Peter glances at her, silently urging her to look at her.
"There's someone else I want to see anyway. I want you to meet her" Charmer replies. "Enough talk, we should go help our team out"

"Ah!" she exclaimed, her face brightened up. "A circus blessed our kingdom with a visit?!? I hope the people enjoy their show. We could really use such entertainment." She was visibly shaking from excitement. People from around the world would follow the circus, trying to watch every single one of their breathtaking performances. If anything that meant that the shops of the kingdom would bloom and economy would definitely rise.

Even if she considered such a way of entertainment too lowbrow for her. It wasn't every day a circus visited their kingdom. After calling back her spirit and placing the coin inside her coin purse. She immediately took of and started walking towards the circus with a quick pace. "I'm off!" Of course, after hearing the word "circus" she didn't listen to a single word Tirik said afterwards.

"Well I have one but I'm not sure if it'd work.... it's not that 'out there' but... we could just... ask them?" he shrugged, honestly not having that good of an idea of what they should do

Regina shrugged. "If only it were that easy. I've searched all over the city, and I still can't find them. I suppose there's nothing more we can do, so for now..." she paused. "Phillip, do you hear that?"
