Joy nodded and backed away, since she wasn't completely familiar with it yet. She pressed her thumb and middle finger and paused for a moment, concentrating. "Dimitti!" she called out. It took a slight bit longer until the spirit was summoned but to her surprise the upper half of the body was revealed. It seemed like a female figure, wearing a bamboo hat covering the top of her eyes, and rectangular wooden armor. It gave off some sort of gentle and elegant vibe. Seeing as there was at least some progress made, she smiled. "There is mine,it seems it still has a bit more until it is fully summoned..." she added. She thanked the messenger and sighed as she noticed Noah snap back to his usual self.

Noah smiled wider, noticing Ava following him. "Okay, I think he wanted me." He remarked, slowing down as he reached the king's room. His smile wavered a little, but he knocked on the door.

William lifted his hand up in response to the knock on the door. The handle glowed and it slowly opened. “Come in” he said while opening a book.

Noah slowly walked in and stopped when he was two steps inside. "What did you need me for?" He asked. He fought the urge to look back through the door and instead focused on a random spot on the wall.

William’s magic gently pushed Noah in the room farther, and the door closed behind him. “You’ll see soon. Come with me. You aren’t in trouble, in case you’re wondering.” He said while he moved a book on the bookshelf. The bookshelf slid open to reveal a secret passage in the wall, it was one of many in the castle. William started to descend the steps into darkness.

Ava was about to butt in before they witnessed the door shut in their face. They stood still for a minute, taken aback by the sheer Audacity. They decided to try and eavesdrop instead, pressing their ear against the door thinking that the fact their ears were slightly pointy would aid them in any way but, alas, their hearing was still offensively terrible. They could catch some very muffled noises and they kept there until they couldn't hear anything for a small period of time. Letting out a tiny groan they knocked on the door.
"Hey!! Hello!!! Hiii!!!!" They thought maybe them yelling would be a great impression to let them in.

Noah was about to let Ava in, but realized that it would probably not make his father pleased with him. So, he carefully followed after the king. He was a bit worried with what would happen down here, but he quickly squashed the worry and put on a smile.

William’s hands lit up and illuminated the dark stairway as they descended. “I wanted to wait a little longer to show you this, but with the threat of my assassination this seems to be a good time. What I’m about to show you is something that has been passed down from generations of our family.” He said while they walked.

She took a step back. Marigold furrowed her brows. She hesitated - then hesitated again. “Wow! How did you manage this? It’s really impressive, Joy, dear!” She was genuine with this comment, though she froze every few moments. The smile on her face grew slightly as she watched the large spirit-like creature. “She’s beautiful, what’s her name?” She regarded the spirit with wide, impressed eyes.

After they noticed their efforts seemed fruitless, Ava decided they will give up on this for now. They made their way back to their Silly Chamber to get their hat back, putting it on, and then walking back but slower. They looked around the hallways, whether to reminisce or just to be more careful after hearing about the threats even they couldn't figure out. Once they've gotten back to the door that closed on them they stood there, fidgeting.

For a lack of a better emotion, Elliot was astounded by the regal brilliance Joy's summon held. It demanded respect, almost like a queen, yet there was the undeniable power of a warrior which carried through even when in spirit form. It was impressive and quite fitting for his kindhearted yet brave sister. "I agree with Mother, it's quite impressive. It really does suit you." He admitted, his eyes still gazing at the summon. For a brief moment, they worriedly tracked Ava as they left but were soon drawn back to the hovering warrior

Regina headed back into the city. Now that she could get those dark thoughts out of her mind, she wanted to focus on investigating the main points of suspicion: Those two brothers. She had talked to some villagers, learned what they had said, and what songs they sang. Regina couldn't help but throw herself into this, she needed to do something to keep this precarious safety in balance. So, she decided to make a quick stop at Dawn's bakery before heading out to do some investigating. She entered the city and walked to the bakery. "Anyone here?" she asked, gently pushing on the door.

Tirik had merely smiled and nodded as Regina stepped out, and he had remained in his workshop afterwards. However, he didn't simply stand around. He'd been gathering, collecting items and objects off the shelves that lined the walls. Occasionally, he checked a few open books, flipped a few pages. Then, he dumped a load of miscellaneous supplies on the table, removed a few colors of thin chalk sticks, and knelt down on the floor. A raised platform sat in front of him, and sported a few overlapping types of Summoning Circles. Taking a blue piece of chalk along one of the lines, he watched as it slowly lit up once complete. Tracing a few more runes into the platform, the Mage checked a book next to him. The top of the page read as follows:

'Enchanting; Weapons; Summoner Magus; Mental Links'

Groaning, Tirik stood up, then picked up a scrap of metal and threw it into the circle, which appeared both on the platform and in the book. The metal entered the circle, then froze, floating in the air. "Perfect." Stepping out of the room, Tirik made his way towards his chambers, where he knew something especially potent was waiting. Or, they would be especially potent within the hour.

"Tirik conjured this sort of magic coin and with a simple gesture and a command, the guardian can be summoned. The coin even has my face on the side!" she added cheerfully. She was caught by surprise since she hadn't even thought about naming her guardian spirit. "A name for you, huh?" She stared quite intensely, not that the guardian would mind she presumed. "Hmmmm,Onna has a nice ring to it. I'm not good with names but if I might come up with something better in the future." She said after a somewhat long pause and called back the spirit, which bowed at Marigold and Joy before returning to the coin. "What about you, dear brother? Are you going to name yours?"

Obviously naming it after onna-bugeisha (what she's supposed to be)

"I-i mean, it's a simple Raven, I doubt that it needs much more of a name other than that." He stammered, flipping over the coin. The stark bones of his summon emblazoned on the metal stared back at him, cold and unyielding. "I suppose it would garner a laugh or two if I named it Crow, but I don't suppose the summon itself would find it amusing." Gently clenching and relaxing his left hand as a slight tremor ran up the limb, Elliot let out a sigh and pocketed the coin. "But I must say, sister. Your summon is quite impressive. I hope Onna serves you well."

"There's nothing simple about this. We're talking about magic!" she remarked, laughing at the comment Elliot made about naming it Crow and its consequences. "Thank you,I'm not quite sure what it is capable of yet but it seems promising, especially since it was Tirik who created it. Yours seems omnipotent already, not to mention intimidating. Say...do you perhaps know what Father needs Noah for?" she looked at both Marigold and Elliot, even though Elliot would probably not know since the two of them were together long before the messenger arrived.

After marvelling the raven in stunned silence, Marigold shook herself to respond to the question. “I know not of this. Your father hasn’t spoken to me about this meeting.” She informed them with certainty, eyes narrowed in obvious thought. Her voice was laced in soft suspicion, not quite rage, however. Her eyes found their way back to the raven, a layer of emotion adding onto her face. She seemed to focus.

After realizing that he'd been staring at a night butterfly on the wall for FAR too long, so long in fact Regina was long gone, Phillip picked up the pace and started running around the castle asking people where she had gone, until eventually he ran into a peculiar servant. "Pstt, het psttt." he tapped on Cooper's shoulder "Do you happen to know where the General Regina is?"

Tirik, having located his chambers in record time, was rummaging through the large-ish room. Muttering, he finally found what he was looking for. Now he held two large, elegant objects, identical to each other. Decorated plates of armor, it seemed. Measured to the length of his forearms, the objects seemed fairly bulky. The reason? Tirik reached two fingers into one end of one, then tugged, and pulled out a long blade, gleaming with sharpness. Carefully tucking the blade back, he smiled. "Forever sharp, as you were enchanted." Carrying the objects under one arm, he closed the door to his chambers and started back towards the workshop.
Ah, so you, O Mysterious and Curious Soul, have come to seek answers in the abyss?

Do you know what lies beyond?

Do you want to?

Or has your curiosity reached a nervous end?

"I guess not," Regina said. She closed the door and walked out, spending a few hours talking with villagers, but she couldn't seem to get any information. No matter who she talked to, Regina always got the same answer. The songs. She had heard them try to recreate the songs in off-tune voices, but none made any sense. Regina wasn't getting anywhere with this. She sat down on a bench next to the post where her horse was tied. She rubbed her temples. Even though Regina hated to admit it, she was tired, and couldn't do this on her own. She needed someone else. But who? The only person that came to mind was Phillip, but he was so much of a character Regina was unsure how well of a job he would do. Well, there was only one way to find out. She'd test him, and maybe he would show some hidden potential. She called over one of the knights. "Find Sir Phillip. I need him right now." The knight nodded and headed off to pass on the message to the knights inside the castle, where one would approach Phillip with Regina's word.
