Tirik, while awaiting Opal's lead on the tour, felt something tug at his mind. Other magic was being used within the castle. A quick motion, and a Mirror Ghoul was seeking the source. The Stationary half hummed slightly, the Seeker half moving quickly. It wasn't long before the Justice Magic was found, the source being the King himself. Tirik instructed the Ghoul to show his face and wait, as he watched and waited for his chance to speak with the king. It seemed that Noah was finally being treated for his misdeeds and pranks. After a moment, he saw the shape of the edge of the Stationary shift, and knew that he could now be seen. Remaining silent, Tirik awaited the Judgement's conclusion.
Ah, so you, O Mysterious and Curious Soul, have come to seek answers in the abyss?

William laughed, “You sure are persistent, I’ll give you that. But I wouldn’t see a reason to why the servants would lie to me” he said. “So in total, I counted about 10 buckets. Is that correct?” He asked Noah. He could sense Tirik’s magic coming towards him.

Ava completely froze. They didn't fully understand what was happening or what they should do, panicking a little, they didn't want Noah to get into trouble now. They still had no idea how to act and looked around the room, then spotting the bag of tarts they set on the floor next to the chest.
"Would you wanna uh- discuss this over... breakfast? Lunch?" They went to grab the bag and let out a nervous giggle

Noah shrugged. "What buckets?" He asked. "Why would the mages put buckets everywhere? That doesn't make any sense to me."

"Really now? That's surprising..." he teases, leaving Thea with her arms in an offended pose. He waves his hand a little as if to calm her down, then tilting his head a little. "What's with the 'darling' stuff, though? Don't you usually call them 'Sir'? Darling sounds a little initimate."
It's if Thea's entire world comes down at once. Her face flares up, frantically waving her hand above her face as she diverts all eye contact with Rosaline. "O-of course I. Of course I w. would know that!"





"Well, dear brother, it seems we're here at last." The brown haired man jumps down from the carriage, brushing off his beige-coloured coat. "It's time to make this dump into a... much cooler dump," the man says as he smiles for himself.

William shook his head, “That’s quite alright, Ava. I actually ate at the bakery this morning” he said to her. He could tell she was trying to stall, and it made him happy that Noah had a friend like that, who tried to keep him out of trouble. “So that’s ten buckets of water” William said as ten dark weights were put onto one side of the scale. “How many chores have you done today, Noah?” He asked.

"Sounds good enough for me." She was honestly surprised to hear him say that. Even though it probably slipped,it takes guts to say that in front of royalty. "I wouldn't mind additional protection. Unless Esmeralda has any objection,shall we have some breakfast over at that bakery? Even though most people opt for the same,I just can't keep away from its delicasies." she added.

Ava slowly took out one tart and stress ate it on the spot. That was their only plan at the moment, and they didn't have anything else. They tossed another tart towards Noah, trying to lighten it up a little, but they knew they had no choice but to watch this scene unfold in absolute fear.



Feliciano jumped out as well, following his brother. "Oh we're surely gonna make it so much coolerer" he rested a palm on his cheek, as if he was already thinking about ways to spread the word in this 'dump'.

Noah shrugged. "What chores?" He asked. He was still smiling. He was waiting for the punishment to be dealt. His eyes swept the room again, trying to see if there was something that he hadn't seen before that could help him escape. He caught the tart and slowly ate it.

It could've been her smiling face, or maybe her subordinates are able to read Scarlet better than she thought; they all quickly gather in front of the throne. Scarlet feels a familiar feeling of excitement in watching everyone gather beneath her. Ace hangs back, his eyes slightly fearful as he stares at the letter in Scarlet's hand. Scarlet waits in silence, allowing her subordinates to whisper ideas of what the contents of the letter could be. She knows how to draw them in, how to pique their interest by saying no words at all. Her efforts work quickly as everyone begins to quiet down so that she can speak. Scarlet clears her throat, then stands up and reads the letter out loud:

Dear spymaster,
Do you think you can catch any sort of danger before it strikes? Are you certain that your efforts to protect the king, the queen, and their heirs are working? Or, perhaps, have you overlooked something? Right under your nose, there have been plans to kill the king, and you have yet to realize it. This has been your mistake, and you'll pay the ultimate price when the king loses his head

Scarlet lowers the letter. Her eyes were filled with amusement. "The time has come, and everything has worked out better than we planned. For it won't be our hands that kill the king" she holds up the letter. "It'll be our mysterious friend" she turns towards the entrance of the tunnel. The torchlight dancing across her face, making her eyes look crazier than they really are. "We'll play their game for now... we'll actively try to find them, but we will not stop them. I thank you all for your patience. When the assassination happens and confusion and fear hang thick in the air, we'll strike; and when I'm queen, you'll be awarded greatly." (Frick this is kinda cliche) Cheers erupt around Scarlet, they all pat her back as she passes through the crowd and towards the tunnel. She pauses by the entrance, turning towards the back of the crowd and meeting Ace's gaze. "Come Ace, we must warn the king"

William sighed, “Alright, then that’s that. For your mischievous acts, your punishment will be assisting the servants for the rest of the day, along with this” William snapped and his scale disappeared. About ten buckets of water poured on top of Noah, the same amount that he had used to prank the family. “Clean it up please” William said to him as he started to exit the room. He noticed the Ghoul, “You must be from Tirik... What is it?” He asked while walking into the hall.

Being pat on the back on her back while actively Not Looking at the person doing the patting is probably the most awkward thing in the world, Thea decides. She laughs, although with a hint of fake laughter, to ease the setting a little, but her father comes to her rescue. "I'll be sure not to tell that to your General," he laughs. He draws his tone out a bit. "Thank you for humoring pooooor littleeee Theaaaa, but I think it's time for us to leave the city."
With that, Thea suddenly jumps up. "Actually.. uhm... would it be alright for me... to stay... here?" she asks, fiddling with her thumbs. Her father looks at her dumbfounded. "Stay? Stay where?"
"R... Rosaline knows.. a place, right?" Thea looks almost pleading at Rosaline.



"There's no word called "coolerer", idiot. Can't you just go grab the [religiously vague] books from the back? I'll head into the town or whatever. Catch up to me when you got the books," Lovino says, calmly walking away from the carriage without a care in the world.

Noah collapses onto the ground face first and lays there as all 10 buckets worth of water pours onto him. He doesn't move from the floor, and moves his hands toward his face. The servants are capable enough, aren't they? He remains on the floor, thinking. Wondering about the mess in the Silly Chamber. Wondering about if these pranks are too childish for someone his age. Wondering if he should just give everything up. Did they even make anyone laugh? Are they just painful? These thoughts plagued him the longer he laid there.

"yes! theres a hotel nearby that has a place exclusively for guests of the palace, and since im a royal knight - and im great friends with the family <3- she can stay for free with no issues, and if she wants to ever have her own house, she just needs to work and the state grants her accommodation !! isnt our country so great <3" she changes from the pat to a back hug, resting her head on theas shoulder. "pleasseeeeee,,, for me? okay thats not very convinicng but she'll always be safe! youre always welcome to join her as well, if you prefer to."

If it was even possible, Scarlet carries herself with even more authority and confidence than before. The cheers ring in her head and fuel her to continue moving down her destructive path. This was it, this was the taste of leadership she needed, their acceptance of her was addictive, she yearned for more. Was this what it was like being a queen? The two quickly make their way towards the entrance of the castle, but Ace is forced to pause and wait for Scarlet, who is hanging behind. Scarlet suddenly feels a moment of panic. The king was no fool, he even had the gift of magic on his side, would he notice her excitement? Or even notice the resentment that is bound to linger in her gaze if their eyes met?
"People are watching" Ace warns.
"Let them" Scarlet replies, her confidence returning. She had been deceiving everyone for years, and she could easily continue. This letter was no setback. The two return moving, but, to Scarlet's annoyance, are stopped by a familar knight.

Ava was compliant at the beginning, nodding along and slowly relaxing at the not too harsh punishment. Noah is just a kid after all, obviously there's no reason to go overboard on him. That is what they thought until the scale disappeared and suddenly Noah was drenched in water, Ava letting out a little squeal in response.
"Are you okay?" They wore a bit of a frown and went up to the prince, who laid there on the ground. "Get up, you're gonna catch a cold," Ava's demeanor was suddenly a bit more serious than before "It's okay! I'll clean this up, you should get changed"
They reached out an arm to help Noah up.



"You just don't understand the modern culture, dearestest brotherer of mine," Feliciano put down his hand "don't worry your little spaghetti arms too much I'll gladly get them for you" he approached the back of the carriage and got the [religiously vague] books, then realizing Lovino had walked without him already. "Hold on!!" He ran to catch up to his very. careless <3 brother.

Ashe spun his bow around and walked into town. Something was in the air...he really didn't know what it was. Usually it was just his gut telling him about storm approaching or something. He usually just had a hunch but he wasn't always right of course. Apparently the Royal Family had came into town today...it seemed like he missed most of the excitement. Alas... He decided to see if there was anything left at the bakery he could pick up as a snack...or something. Hungry? Yes. Something sweet? Double yes.

Noah didn't respond. The thoughts in his head had fully rooted. Maybe I should grow up and stop doing these pranks. Nobody likes them. He thought. But why should I help the servants? They looked like they had everything under control.
