The Deerling's ear twitched at the sound of new hoofsteps. "Omigosh!" She leaped out of sight. "Keldeo!"

The Keldeo was not a familiar one. Instead of Sparky's smile filling his face, this one had a more serious look to him, and was missing the bell that Sparky always had around his neck. It stopped as the Deerling ran up to it. "..."

Winter simply nibbled on another berry.

"Ready to go?" The creature gruffly asked the Deerling, who nodded. She waved to them. "Bye guys, don't eat all the Jazz berries!" Before both creatures dashed off, seemingly racing each other.

"Yeah, he's the guy that showed me how to get the message to you, but he seems like he's no fun. I have not the slightest idea why that Deerling is hanging out with him." The Deerling had seemed far too happy-go-lucky to be sticking around someone like that, but he didn't really know either of them, so what did he know? "Let's explore the rest of the forest!"

The next area of the forest seemed a lot more....moist? Was that the word? The floor was covered in flowers and the trees were more of a bright green as opposed to the darker colors of the last area, with a little more of a yellow color. Deerling with pink pelts bounded through this area, and there were a lot more new sprouts."This is the Spring part of the forest. Supposedly it's location alternates with Summer often." Winter explained

"Of course! That was the first time I'd ever seen real snow!" He remembered the experience clearly, the first time ever seeing the frost on the ground growing into full on white Tundra...he notes to visit the mountainous regions of the Paradise at some point.

"Apparently there's this really cool thing in the center of the forest, but Team Eclipse wanted to keep it a surprise, so they didn't tell me what it was...just not to touch it. Let's check it out!" He started heading in a direction he thought was the center, but he really had no idea...

"Well, we're here anyway! We might as well take a look!" As he dashed along, he happened upon a set of various hoofprints. Two were clearly running passed here, and one set appeared to be moving more slowly, while still following the faster ones.

"Interesting..." Winter simply passed them, figuring he'd come back later. He wouldn't be surprised if the faster hoofprints were from Keldeo and Deerling, but the third set intrigued him. He kept heading through the forest. "The center is where all the seasons meet..." he noted quietly

It seemed they were coming across the start of the Autumn quadrant. Padding along the border was a strangely colored Leafeon. Not shiny, but different... it took notice of them

A Leafeon..? It seemed different...perhaps it embodied the season that it was in? Emerald thought that could be the case as he continued to follow his friend towards the center. What was there, he’ll see, he had to know
