"Whoa! Uhh..." Seeing his friend fall into the hole, Winter felt he
had no choice but to follow, leaping off the Rayquaza and into
the...volcano thing. They appeared to just be falling into a void,
nothing appearing to happen. Was this some kind of sick prank?
Emerald was genuinely frightened at this point...it definitely
seemed like he was falling to his death. Too many of these
experiences in one day when he, ideally, should be dealing with
less then one a year! He closed his eyes and waited...
Meka was a psychic type...Winter reminded himself as he fell. If
this was a prank, she wouldn't let them die...right? He tried to
reassure himself as they fell toward the bottom, air whipping past
their faces. Meka seemed to be following them. "What...?" They
seemed to be about to reach the bottom....
Suddenly a blast of air launched everyone back up into the sky
Truth was, they were right above Asteroid's head. Kiro's happy
howls could be heard as he himself leaped into the hole. Winter was
pleasantly surprised by that outcome, albeit a little startled
Emerald reopened his eyes eventually, sighing in relief as he saw
he was flying back up to the sky. Well this was a unique
experience. He let himself fall again, this time, instead of in
fear, his pose was a lot more carefree.
The mountain continued to blast the Pokémon into the air, before
letting them fall back down again. Asteroid was watching them, his
eyes half close and his head rested on the side of the hole. He
seemed quite content.
Winter, on the contrary, was finding this exhilarating. He had
never thought that anything natural would do something like this,
and there was a sort of thrill in falling into a seemingly dark and
endless void, only to end up being sent flying into the sky. It was
hard to hear, but he was screaming in delight.
Emerald eventually got back onto Asteroid’s back. He had a bit too
mich taken out of him in that situation...and just wanted to find a
way to rest and recover
Emerald was now just taking in the breeze...his fur ruffling in the
wind. He closed his eyes once more and just focused on the flowing
breeze...it meant that life kept moving, it meant that something
exciting will happen
They skidded down the mountain a bit, before Meka swooped in to
stop them with psychic. "So...wanna see the Shaymin next? That is,
if you don't have allergies!" She giggled.
Winter, hadn't really met a Shaymin either, but as Kiro led the way
toward the place, he recognized the flower feild they'd passed
earlier. Asteroid tagged along for a bit before flying off, to
wherever he wanted to go as a sky dragon...
Emerald carefully stepped around, trying to avoid damage to the
flowers as much as he could. This place...it seemed relatively
peaceful. Emerald felt like he could rest here forever...
There was laughter and quiet chatter among the floral fields.
Gracidea were growing everywhere, and you wouldn't have to look for
long to see hordes of sky forme Shaymin casually darting along.
“....they’re everywhere...” Emerald murmured. He wondered if the
professor at the magic school would be right at home here...What
was her name again...?
