Alice made a pouty face. "Oh, you're no fun." She walked to the front door, careful to hide her face in shadows when she saw the other human. "Hello, there young one." She looked up and her eyes were still yellow, mouth oozing black against her dark grey skin, providing a very horrifying picture. "Welcome to the House of Grimhelm."

He sighed, trying to get the image of what that girl looked like out of his head before relaxing a bit.

Ally flinched a bit but didn't scream or try to run. Instead, she just held onto her arms, wincing in pain, but tried to ignore it.

Alice stepped closer and closer until she was only about 7 feet away. "Now, we're going to play a little game. Do you like games? I like games. We're going to play a game. What do you think?"

Jax looked around, then started slithering somewhere else, not feeling relaxed enough.

She tilted her head, still holding onto her arms. "Wh-What kind of game did you have in mind..?" Ally asked, wincing in pain again. She was slightly glancing at the door, not planning on escaping, but hoping THEY weren't around.

Alice grinned even wider when she heard that. "It's called, Human Trespasser has until Dawn to get to the other side of the Grimhelm House, or she suffers the consequences."

Jax groaned, slithering over to the two. "What if she just wants a place to hide from..." He stared at her softly, noticing the cuts on her arms and the bandages on her legs. "From whoever hurt her like that instead of a game like that."

Ally looked from Alice to Jax, biting her lips slightly. She sighed, moving her hands away from her arms, her injuries visible.

Jax noticed Ally looking at him, a grateful look in her eyes, and nodded, crossing his arms.

Ally then looked at Alice and muttered, "S-Sorry... I-I just need to hide right now." She glanced at the door again, starting to get nervous.

The Unknown shifted, peeling away from the idea that it was decoration. Reaching a long arm out, its bony hand seemed intent of resting on Ally's head. The featureless face tilted down and looked at her, and one long, withered leg thrust forward from the wall to support its weight.

He sighed, starting to slither back to where he was resting.

She looked over, tilting her head slightly. Ally winced again, the pain in her arms still stinging sharply. "They didn't have to do that..." she whispered to herself, her body shaking a little.

The Unknown's hand had hovered above the girl's head for a moment, then had been pulled back slowly when she turned to walk away. A flash of blood red went through the smoke at its feet, and it turned to look at the front wall of the building. Checking around it, it made sure nobody, monster nor human, saw what it did next: It peeled back the Blindfold on its face, simply staring at the front wall for a moment. Its hearing picked up the sound of a few cries, derived from the painful memories of the past. Pulling the blindfold back down, a harsh, pulsing sound echoed out of the Unknown's chest... It was laughing, chuckling at the suddenly started and even more suddenly ended cries. Turning back around, it made for the tall ballroom.

Shuffling uncomfortably, Kenzie's eyes tried to scan around the room, looking for a possible escape. Instead, they landed on a silhouette, moving around in the corner.


Merle was shivering from the loud argument down the hall, he hated loud sounds. When he heard the mention of a "newcomer" though, his curiosity peaked. He slowly faded into the shadows, coming out of another near the entrance to the house, and waited.

Jax couldn't rest well, getting different scents, humans and monsters all over the place. Grumbling, he lifted his body up, stretching his tail.
