"O-Oh, forgive me f-for interrupting then..." Merle mumbled, feeling a little embarrassed. However, his confidence seemed to come back up a bit, and he looked at her. "Um, I-I could sh-show you around, i-if you want. I know this place pretty w-well."

Kenzie grumbled to herself, kicking up dust off the floor as she walked. This night seemed to just get worse for her.

"Well what'd you expect from scaring someone over, and over, and over again!?" Kenzie snapped. After a minute, she calmed down a bit, and sighed. "I'm sorry, it's just been a really stressful night." She shuffled her feet, feeling a bit guilty.

Alice mumbled. "I get it..it's just that I hardly ever get to see humans, and when I do, my crazy side takes over. None of the other monsters really like me, so I'm pretty lonely."

Kenzie looked sympathetic. Cautiously, she walked towards Alice. "Look, I think we both got off to a bad start. What do you say we let bygones be bygones and start over?" She offered a small smile.

Angie darted her eyes around while waiting for the ice to melt. “Why does Fae hate me so much?” Angie thought to herself.
Finally the ice melted. “ guess I need to wipe that up.” Angie went to grab a towel.”oh! Kenzie, you can come back any time! I like having humans around. And when you come, can you bring something new? We aren’t able to leave the property. So we don’t get up to date on things. And be careful, there’s a wet spot on the floor. Fae froze me again! Byeeeee!” Angie said turning into a dog and running with the towel clamped in her jaws.

Alice led Kenzie upstairs. "This house used to be full of people, I think. There are so many rooms that I haven't even explored them all! But some of my favorites are the old bedrooms. They're very pretty, even though they are old and moth-eaten and dusty. She showed her a bedroom with a large canopy bed and a huge wardrobe, a room with 8 different desks, and even a room completely filled with antique lamps! "Okay, so maybe these people were strange people."

"You can say that again." Kenzie chuckled. Wanting to snap a few photos of the lamp room, she reached in her pocket for her phone. The blonde retracted her hand,though, upon remembering the device's fate. "Man," she said instead. "And I thought the rumours about this place were nuts! Guess truth really is stranger than fiction, huh?"
