He removed a box from the row of boxes. The Pokeballs were all
marked as to what Pokemon were inside. Archer stepped back. "Then
pick one."
Ryssu was the first to rush forward, picking out the first Rattata
she saw and letting it out. "I choose this one, sir!" The rattata
looked around, confused. A male rattata. She stroked its head.
"Juan." That would be his nickname
Anthony frowned as Ryssu rushed foward, instantly picking up a
pokeball and letting out the pokemon inside. He moved foward more
calm, picking up a single pokeball with a Zubat inside. He turned
to glance at Archer. "Thank you sir." He said, before moving back
and allowing others to go.
As Felice moved forward, one of the Zubat pokeballs seemed to
quiver. She picked it up and let out the Zubat inside. “Hi there,
friend!” She whispered, trusting Zubat’s great hearing to hear her.
“My name’s Felice and I’m technically your owner now.” She let the
Zubat perch on her shoulder and walked back to the other recruits.
“May I call you Jet?” She asked, knowing Crobat’s incredible speed.
The Zubat nodded. “Okay, Jet it is!”

Mitsuko went over to the Pokéballs, picking the first Koffing she
could find, before letting the Koffing out.
"Hello, friend," she said to the Koffing, "My name is Mitsuko, and
I'm your trainer now!" The Koffing smiked at her (though to be
fair, Koffing is almost always smiling anyway). "Is it ok if I call
you Koffee?" she asked it, not really thinking of a better nickname
for her new partner, who nodded to the best of its ability. "Ok,
Koffee it is, then!" Mitsuko then reached out and gave Koffee a pap
pap on the head.
Ryssu picked up Juan, who looked just a little shy around all the
other Pokemon. "Don't worry, little guy. I'm here to make you
strong." She stroked its chin with one arm, holding Juan in the
other. Juan lit up at Ryssu's words, and managed a little squeak of
excitement.
Jo arrived late, yawing. She glanced at the people gathered there,
then pushed past them and picked up a random pokeball. She opened
it, and a Koffing came out, looking quite annoyed at the
disturbance. "Hey, Grumpy." She smiled at it. She wasn't ready for
this day, though she had been training for a while. The evil laughs
still didn't come naturally, and she was never where she should be.
Well, time to try harder, then. She strode over to Archer, before
bowing her head slightly, and saying, "Sorry I'm late, Sir. It
won't happen again."
Archer gave the recruits some time with their pokemon before
speaking. "It's about time you receive your first mission." He
barely acknowledged Jo. It wasn't really his place to repremand her
just yet.
Ryssu snapped to attention, placing her Pokemon on her shoulder,
where he sat up, shifting to make himself comfortable.
Jo stood in line with the other initiates, trying her hardest to
focus on what she was doing rather than... Well, anything else.
Grumpy - she had decided to call it that - hovered just above her
shoulder, also watching Archer. She was glad for not having been
reprimanded, and decided she liked this Archer person. Well, as
much as she could like someone.
"A Bunch of children have been hanging around a newly discovered
cave. Like Mt. Moon, it's been rumored to have rare pokemon and
items. Get rid of these children and bring back as much treasure as
you can find." He gave them a gps to the location and ordered them
to meet up at that spot. He also gave them communication devices to
speak with the admins or each other from afar. "Now go!'
Ryssu nodded and ran out of the room at the order, holding the gps
and working to escape the Rocket base to get to it. She certainly
wasn't going to fail this. If the children dared challenge her,
she'd win, and she'd steal their pokemon. She didn't doubt her
partner's strength.
"Yes sir." Anthony said, taking the items and walking out of the
base. The Zubat's pokeball was clipped to his belt, as he made he
way towards the marked location on the GPS. Battling some kids
shouldn't be too easy. Intimidation could work as well.
Felice swallowed. Dammit, she was hoping she wouldn’t get a mission
yet... With a mental sigh, she picked up the GPS and raced out. Jet
perched on her shoulder. Following the GPS, she set off towards the
cave. As she went, she began to quietly tell Jet about her
situation.

Jo dashed from the room, and started following the GPS. Grumpy was
silent on her shoulder - probably sleeping - so she decided not to
disturb him. She wouldn't fail. She couldn't fail. She had been
training for six years. This mission would go fine. No,
brilliantly.
The cave was across a lake. It looked as if they'd have to get wet,
unfortunately. Juan climbed closer to Ry's back as she waded into
the water. No problem, she could swim.
Mitsuko ran as fast as she could towards the exit, Koffee following
behind her. She'd defeat those children, steal their Pokémon, and
maybe grab whatever rare items that were in the cave, and her
partner would be with her the whole way through! It was her first
mission on the job, she knew she couldn't fail it.
