Team Rocket is a criminal organization. 'Bad guys that steal other people's Pokemon'. They are aware of this, but all for good reason, in their mind...

It's been many years since Team Rocket started recruiting those at younger ages, age 10 to be exact. New rookies are about to receive their first Pokemon by the admin Archer, and a good thing too, Rocket needs all the help it can get right now.

All of Team Rocket know of the story of how Mewtwo was created, and how it escaped. Giovanni, Team Rocket's head, would make a new one, but the Mew escaped as well, however... now he's working to get it back, either Mew or Mewtwo

All new recruits are at Team Rocket's Kanto Hideout at the moment. Most think they have disbanded, but they will rise up again...

The rookies are getting their starter Pokemon today. They can choose between Rattata, Rattata's Alolan variant, Koffing, or Zubat.

Felice drummed her fingers on her legs. She already knew which starter she was taking. Zubat. Most people found Zubats annoying, but she knew of their great potential as a Crobat. While most had trouble evolving Golbat, Felice knew she would be able to do it.

Ryssu had already decided she wanted a Kanto Rattata. She knew the bites of Raticate were really strong. Also, she though Rattata was really cute.

She hummed to herself, and thought. She would probably get an alolan rattata. She didn’t like its evolution, and knew they were excellent robbers, so she’d have an adorable partner

Mitsuko had arrived soon enough. After thinking about it for a while, she decided to choose Koffing. She's heard that Poison-types are pretty good in battle and only had a few weaknesses. Plus, she just thought Koffing just looked so happy to be here.

The Recruits were being led to the meeting room. In it were boxes filled with Pokeballs

Ryssu couldn't be more excited. Despite being part of a criminal organization, Ry loved Pokemon and really looked forward to getting a partner. She had a feeling that this Rattata would be her only best friend throughout her journey. Ryssu was a shy girl, and not really social when she did speak, often cursing people out and not coming off as the nicest person. She needed someone to understand her on a more personal level.

Felice stared at the boxes in shock. Team Rocket really caught that many innocent pokemon?! If only she didn’t have to be here to pay off her parents’ debts... With a soft sigh, she joined the other recruits.

The Team Rocket admin, Archer, was waiting for them. "Before I give you your starting Pokemon, let me give you rundown on how this will work." He beckoned them to stand in front of him

Mitsuko was excited for this moment. She didn't really have friends.... Or family... Or much of anything, really. And now, she was getting her very own Pokémon. An actual friend, after 10 years of having pretty much nothing... Even if her first real friend was gonna be a Koffing, at least it's an improvement over having no friends at all.

Felice shuffled over in front of him. She hadn’t even started and was already tempted to leave? I can’t. I have my family to look after. I’m doing this for them. She told herself, trying to strengthen her resolve. Taking a deep breath, she stepped into line.

Anthony stared at the boxes, his eyes roaming each of the individual pokeballs inside. He had already decided that a Zubat would be nice. He glanced at everyone else in the room, one seemed rather uncomfortable, the other was definitely reserved. One was rather talkative he noticed, frowning. He looked up Archer, focused and listening.

As you are assigned missions, you will do everything possible to succeed and never question your orders. If you succeed in missions consistently, we will assign more important ones later. Do you understand and agree to this?" Archer gave the children a look.

Ryssu nodded vigorously. "Yes sir." She was ecstatic for her starting pokemon now. She didn't want to wait any longer... She could just see its Pokeball right now...
