Mydresh heard something, then righted himself and pushed most of his top quarter out of the water, his eyes getting a view of both above and below the surface. He spotted something, still barely too far away to identify, and sent vibrations into the water, calling out to any other creatures nearby: a messenger was near.

Leviathan bears the call and starts swimming towards the noise, the sunlight making it hard to see what it was. He gets close enough to see and looks out. What was a kirin doing here? He continues to go towards it.

Yiucko stopped as soon as she was close, her hooves hovering the tiniest bit over the surface of the water as she stopped. "A kraken and a sea serpent both. Perfect. I have a question for you, and a request. Or, rather, less of a request and more of a suggestion you should really take seriously." Her voice was level and calm as always as she fixed the other two with a stare, appearing quite valiant as she stood over the water, awaiting their response.

Mydresh's deep sounds erupted from the water, forming words, ever so slightly. On top of that, he was clearly used to an older tongue of language. "We wait for your speech." It was obviously supposed to be 'I await for you to speak,' but both translations made sense.

Furu then walked back to wear she lived and started to run around for awhile and shot red flames and a portal to the other side opened up and she ran through it

Hearing the leader’s call, Summer shot forward and joined the crowd. Please be me, please be me... She prayed. Her wings began to flare up brighter than they usually did, attracting more attention. Summer rarely did this since she hated attention, but it was a subconscious action right now, to increase her chance of winning.

The Great Phoenix glanced at Summer. "Are you saying you volunteer?"

Yiucko continued. "I assume you have both heard of the incident between the dragon and griffin?" She tried to get straight to the point, keeping her calm tone throughout, though, admittedly, she was getting a little tired, and despite being a traveler, she had a bit of a shy nature, being used to hiding from sight unless absolutely necessary, so this was a step out of her comfort zone. She once again awaited an answer as the sea breeze ruffled her blazing white and gold main.

Moeru just stared at Summer, is she attracting attention just so she can get picked? He knew she have a low chance of getting picked since she’s a Dud but then again, all of them have a low chance of getting picked “sir, I volunteer too” he said as he raised his head to look at the leader before his chest starts flaring up and glowed a bit, though that’s a sign of nervousness for him

Mydresh rumbled in confirmation, learning that his sources had been correct after all. He seemed to be somewhat anxious, his second eye still watching Leviathan, even though he knew there were no attacks while there was a messenger nearby. "The point of this has been?" His words would seem jumbled to anybody younger even by a year than him. He knew the old languages better than his own body, and that was saying something .

“Yes I have heard.” Leviathan said. Why were those two creatures so dumb to fight in the human world? This was just foolishness, and now all of mythological creatures were in danger of being discovered.

Inferno bows and then says to the leader, “I also volunteer to go to the meeting.” He doesn’t glow yet. “I am a traveler and have been to the human world many times.”

Send representatives for your species." she tensed her muscles to race off as she said this, signaling the end of her message. All there was to do now was tell her own species. then, be there and hope some showed up, even though she'd promised bad luck for those who didn't

The great Phoenix nodded. "Very well." He looked to Moeru next. "And you as well?"

Summer let out a mental sigh of relief and dipped her head in gratitude. Good job, me. Next step is to somehow convince the mythical creatures not to hide themselves away. That might be a problem... so many of them were used to hiding. But Samton was coming, and he knew better than most how kind humans can be. He’s seen both sides of the spectrum, in fact. Hopefully he’s in favor of them not going into hiding.

Yiucko, reaching her home, falls asleep in her favorite patch of earth, sure not to harm the plants around her. The Sky darkens, and she feels her consciousness fade. The meeting was first thing tomorrow morning.

TIME SKIP
