Summer was up long before sunrise. Well, more like she barely slept. She hadn’t dared to visit Rita, and could only hope that the muthical creatures won’t be going into hiding. Her heart ached as she thought of the fact that Rita will die one day, but she won’t. She flapped her wings and called for the other volunteers.

Rita stared numbly at the wall of her bedroom. Summer hadn’t visited, which either meant she thought it was too risky, or she was captured. Most likely the former... She rubbed away the tear from her eye and began her morning routine.

Samton was up much earlier than usual. Seeing another volunteer up, he flew to Summer. "So, big day huh? It's too bad such a meeting is held only in emergency situations. It's a moment of community, or at least could've been, if we held it more often for other reasons too. But that isn't the issue now. What do you think will happen?"

“I’m hoping for us to not decide on hiding.” Summer replied, her wings flapping. “I hope we’ll be able to co-exist with the humans, but that’s a slim chance anyone will agree... Besides, there are both ‘good’ and ‘bad’ humans...” She sighed. “As long as we don’t go into hiding again, I’m fine with it.”

"Hiding probably won't work, but coexistence has an even slimmer chance. Humans enjoy hunting mythical beings down, and often they've got many of us. Human's self-denial was something which helped us, but we can't use it anymore, since they have solid proof. They will find us. Well, its to decide what we are going to do, that we're going to the meeting."

“Mm-hmm... Some humans enjoy hunting mythical creatures down. I’ve seen some that are willing to help, and I’m sure you have as well.” Summer replied. She sighed heavily mentally. Rita, Rita... How will I see you again, if we aren’t permitted to and if no one believes mythical creatures and humans can co-exist? She looked around anxiously, wondering when everyone else were coming.

Moeru woke up before sunrise, he spread his wings out before taking off and flying around the volcano a bit before he noticed Summer and Samton, he hovered in the air for a bit before landing behind them “talking about that meeting huh?” He said

“Yeah, kind of.” Summer replied. She held back a yawn of exhaustion. She wished she could take a quick trip to the human world. After all, she could only imagine how worried Rita was. Hopefully she was doing fine...

Rita finished her breakfast and trudged outside. It was Monday, so she had work to do. She dragged herself towards the coffee shop she worked at. Why would she be working there, since she preferred tea? So she wouldn’t start drinking coffee meant for the customers, of course.

Ember let out a yawn as the sun rose. She got out of bed and got ready to go out. Her friends had agreed to meet at the coffee shop nearby to hang out. She and her two friends reached it when it just opened so it wasn't crowded yet. She went to the counter to order for the three of them.

Rita spotted Ember. “May I take your order?” She asked, her notepad on the counter, a pen in her right hand and a bottle of tea in her left hand. She paused to take a sip, waiting for an order. Her bottle had a phoenix on it, drawn by Rita in the mirror image of Summer. Apparently it was weird to see someone drink tea in a coffee shop, much less one of the workers, but Rita didn’t really care.

Ember nodded at the cashier. " 2 Lattes and a Cappucino please," she said as she saw the waiter taking a sip from a nice looking bottle which had a picture of a phoenix printed onto it. She smiled. The phoenix was probably one of her favourite mythical animals. She realised that the cashier was drinking tea and let out a little laugh.
"It's funny to see someone drink tea in a coffee shop," she giggled. "But I guess both have caffeine anyway so makes sense," she added.

“Good to see you know that.” Rita wrote down the order and went off to make coffee. She came back in a couple of minutes with the cups. As a joke, she always wrote “tea” on the surface of anything ordered, and this time was no exception. She handed the cups to Ember and added, “That would be ___.” She told Ember the price.

Ember took the drinks from the cashier and paid the bill. She saw tea written on the cup and gave her a funny look.
"Oh well, I never really liked coffee anyway," she giggled. To be honest, the only reason she was joining them was that she had nothing to do.

Samton noticed something different in Summer's behavior. "Your distress is not just due to the current problems, Summer. Am I correct?" Samton looked at her, waiting for an answer. He was concerned something bad had happened. He looked around to see if more volunteers are coming, then, seeing Moeru, said, "Yeah, pretty much."

Will we go into hiding or something, I hope that doesn’t happen” Moeru said before looking at Summer, he thought she was just nervous because of the whole dragon and griffin being revealed to the humans along with other mythical creatures potentially being revealed to them, he sighs a bit before turning to Samton again

"If we go hiding again, they'll likely find us. Its not like the 1st or 2nd millenia, when we flew here and there. They're much more advanced." Samton's voice was filled with fear he tried his best to hide, but couldn't by the end of it. He sighed. "We may even be looking a war in the face right now."

“That will be bad if that does happen, a war between humans and mythical creatures, we won’t be sure who will win if that happens, but we do know it will be chaos between both of our worlds” Moeru said, he wasn’t even trying to hide the fear in his voice as he spoke unlike Samton, he just though about if even one of them get captured by a human, they could enter their world and cause havoc and that will start the war, he just hopes that won’t happen anytime soon

“Umm, yeah... I didn’t sleep very well last night. Excitement.” Summer told Samton by way of explanation. She hoped he wouldn’t ask more. She didn’t want to lie, nor does she like it, nor is she good at it. “Not all humans want war, though. They are fearful of what they don’t understand, and when you fear, fight-or-flight kicks in. If they understood us better, though, maybe they’ll be less fearful. If we show them that we’re willing to co-exist, maybe they’ll do the same.”

Rita grinned. “Have a good life!” She called after Ember.

Ember smiled as she was about to walk away and waved at Rita, the badge on her shirt said so so she guessed it was her name. "You too," she answered back. "And enjoy your tea," she added and walked out the coffee shop door. She gave her friend's drinks and they insisted they go shopping. Ember wasn't a fan of it so she said that she'll just go to the park. Her friends just shrugged and walked away, waving goodbye to her while Ember went in the opposite direction.

“We probably won’t know until it happens, humans, by nature, are extremely random, we won’t know what they will do until it happens, sure some won’t do that but that doesn’t mean all of them will do so, and I’m pretty sure they won’t just casually let mythical creatures like us coexist with them without something happening” Moeru said as he stared at Summer, why did she keep thinking of humans in a good light? Even though he isn’t aggressive or hate them in anyway, he didn’t really think of them as a peaceful creature either

Wylia got up from her slumber. "Ha-Aaaa! I'm late. Need to go to the human world !"
Wylia ran swiftly from her cave and jumped off the cliff. She opened up her wings and glided across the morning air.
Then, she opened up a portal to the human world. But, BUMPPP!!!!
She bumped right into a tree.
"Ouch ! That hurt. I'ma gonna have to practise portal opening more."

Meanwhile, Ash had finished lunch and was getting up to leave to the countryside.
"Let's go." Ash sighed, still unable to belive that he had not seen a Kitsune. He was pretty sure he did.
