“I lead a normal life...as normal as it can get anyway.” They smiled. “When I’m not out there, having to fight other dragons of course.” He wasn’t sure what much more he could add to that. He looked over at the Ninetales.

"As normal as it can get. I was very content with the toast I had this morning, not worrying about guzzlord hopping through a rift in space." The Ninetales shrugged. It had been a while since he'd battled, and was now dealing with a wife and two children. "I would fight dragons if they attacked here, though, like a dragon slayer." He winked at Winter, whose tail was wagging uncontrollably.

“Heroes can lead normal lives too. Some even dream of it...” Zacian chuckled and then proceeded to hand Winter a large present, no doubt it was a replica of his costume. “Here. It was lovely meeting you Winter, and perhaps one day, we will meet again!”

Winter took the costume from the Zacian with shaky paws, then took the scarf that the Ninetales gave him. He shook the evolved pokemon's paw. "Name's Roran. Look forward to your first dragon slaying!" He winked at Winter before following the Zacian out. Winter then walked out to find Emerald, carrying the gifts on his back and feeling overly giddy with what had just happened.

Emerald felt a happiness swelling up inside of him when he saw Winter’s ecstatic expression. “You are soooo lucky....” He said happily to Winter. He hadn’t actually won one of these yet, but it was so cool that his friend won one of the raffles, and to his idols! None the less

"You can bet I'll be wearing Roran's scarf tomorrow." Winter whispered to his friend. The boxes weren't heavy, but they were pretty big, and he wanted to drop them off and get some rest before doing anything else exciting. "Maybe you'll win one yourself soon." He tried to be humble about it, when all he wanted to do was howl his own pride.

Emerald simply giggled before his expression changed to that of neutrality. “I don’t have that luck, Winter, I’m not my dad. Not in a million years.” He smiled as he helped Winter with the boxes. “You can go ahead and howl ya know.” He grinned as he read his feelings, he continued carrying one of the boxes

"I'll pass, thanks. Maybe I could meet your dad again at some point and thank him for teaching me to make brownies! I made this really cool cake out of the recipe this one time that Summer and Zora really enjoyed." He giggled at the thought that a hero traveler had taught him to make brownies, of all things. He remembered Mr. Daphnel's words on the first day of class.

"That sucks. But, at least you and Ruby are here, right?" Winter walked into the house, setting his own box down. He wondered what it was like for Emerald's dad to be gone so much. His own family had bullied him, well, his cousins and older siblings. But Summer and his parents hadn't been all bad, but he was trying to start over.

“...I’ll be truthful Winter...I’m not sure I had the same spark for her as I used to...I see her more as a friend and less as a crush now...” He admitted. He deliberately didn’t look at Winter when he said that though, he had been admittedly fairly lonely since Chiaki had gotten her role as the sage of Seishun. He slowly walked to the giant bubble and wondered how he was going to get it inside Winter’s house

"I understand, I think. I've gotten over my whole 'crush' thing with you, too." Honestly, that wasn't exactly true, but he wanted to share something with the friend he hadn't seen in at least a few years. Lately he'd gotten better at battling, though he hadn't gotten much opportunity since the move. He glanced back at the bubble, thinking maybe they could use it's squishyness to get it through the door.

He giggled as he attempted it, as the bubble tickled him as he did so. He managed to pop it in and he fell into a heap on the floor once and the bubble slowly wobbled where it was

Winter padded over to help with the bubble. His current bed was a heap of powder snow he'd made for himself. This was way better, and he began helping to nose the aura bubble towards his bedspace, his nose twitching as the bubble tickled it.

Emerald would shrink it slightly so it would fit in the space better. "Phew..." He sat down and smiled happily at his friend. "That was quite a fun night..." He looked at his friend happily and smiled. He genuinely felt happy to have his friend back with him

"Yup. Now beware, I'm going to jynx us now. I hope we don't have as much drama here as we did at the school." He smiled as he said this and winked at Emerald. Every time he used to say this, give it a day and everything would be chaos. Either that or he'd wish for drama and get it, one of the two.

Emerald's laughter was contagious. "Sorry. I really mean it, though. No craziness." He meant that, at least. How lovely it would be if all of the previous drama would vanish in this place. he then remembered the Leafeon, and how she had come to apologize that the sage couldn't greet him. He had assumed it just meant the sage here was busy, but...why the leafeon? And was she worried when he met her? He couldn't recall....

"Oh you...I suppose it would be fun..." Emerald sat up with a smile. "Maybe a little..." He said. Though, he already knew something was already going on. Behind the backs of everyone, but he didn't want to trouble his friend yet. Not just yet when he had just settled in. And it hadn't gotten too big yet. He wanted to do something quickly, though...it might embarrass Winter. "Winter...can I ask a favour?"
