Pokémon ll Descent to Darkness [Roleplay]

A strange fog has befallen Emera Town. Not only that, but it seems everyone is asleep. Only Pokémon aren't affected, so a group of them decide to find out why the humans are asleep. But not all of the Pokemon here want the humans to wake back up. And why is it that the deeper they go the more mysteries they find?
Rules:

Show hidden content

1. All PH rules apply.
2. No mini-modding.
3. No godmodding or power-playing.
4. Don't kill others off.
5. Don't steal other's characters.
6. There is a maximum of five characters for every species of Pokémon.
7. Emera events are allowed.
8. No legendaries.
9. Pokémon are allowed to have scars, clothes, slightly different patterns, and other accessories that don't affect their abilities/combat.
10. Everyone is limited to at most 6 characters.
11. This is more or less a semi lit RP. Please note that when applying. I will be checking some of your recent roleplays to make sure.
12. No one-liners.
13. Players are declared inactive after five days of (unexplained) inactivity on the thread. If they become inactive their character go up for adoption.
14. OP-ness includes:
- Dodging almost every single attack aimed at you
- More than 2 named moves in a single post for a single pokemon
- Being able to singlehandedly take stronger Pokemon, ex. Pidgey vs Mega Mawile
- Generally impossible things, like surviving a 50m fall with no injuries
- Not responding to hits without being healed, ex. Getting hit by Quick Attack and not getting hurt while also not being healed

Tenshi stuck to the shadows in her former trainer's neighborhood. She leaped into a trashcan to try to get leftover food. Suddenly a fog rolls in. Her head shot up and out of the trash bin when she heard a body fall to the ground, and another, and another. She cocked her head, confused.

Katu woke up with a headache. I knew I shouldn't have drunk so much coffee. She thought to herself, slowly getting out of her bed. It was nothing fancy, just some scrap material she had managed to find. Compared to what some wild town Pokemon were sleeping on, her collection of fabrics may have even been somewhat luxurious.

The Espeon stretched, and looked around. Even through her headache, she knew something was off. Where we're all the other Pokemon? She lived literally right beside the daycare! The sun was already up in the sky. By now, the daycare man should have woken them all up.

She made her way around the daycare building and towards the fenced-off area where the other Pokemon were. They were all sleeping, but she could see a few waking up. That was strange. Where was the daycare man?

And anyways, what was with all this fog?

Katu walked around some more. A lot of the Pokemon were just waking up, but she couldn't see any humans. Where were they? Finally, she found a few napping. Good.

She jumped on one - a trainer, from her clothes, so if she woke up Katu wouldn't be in much trouble.

"Hey! Trainer, wake up!" Katu barked. The trainer made no movement to indicate she had heard. She snored.

Aino was resting peacefully under his master's head acting as his pillow. His trainer was always so lazy dispite all the effort they put into contests and their Pokemon's health. He didn't notice the fog rolling in, to busy gently stroking their hair with his wings but when he did, Aino quickly covered his trainer's mouth to prevent them from breathing any in.

Out on Emera Beach, a lone Milotic bobbed along with the waves. A low mournful cry rose from the Pokemon's mouth as he waited for the one friend he had made. The was a rustle in the grass and Albafica perked up and swam over only too see another human lying face down on the sand. How curious.

Tenshi leaped out of the trash bin and sniffed the nearest body. He was a trainer who appeared to be walking his pokemon. Attached to a leash was a confused looking lilipup who was also sniffing him. He appeared to not be dead, just...asleep. That was weird. She helped the lilipup off his leash and gently dragged the trainer to a safe place. It was her first instinct, living with such a kind human before.

Katu snorted. "Wake up!" She screeched in the trainers face. The human kept on snoring. The Espeon dug her claws into the trainer.

"H-hey! D-don't hurt my-my trainer!"

Katu looked down to glare at the offending sound - a small Whimsicott. She narrowed her eyes, snarling. If we fight, the trainer is going to wake up, right? She thought. The Whimsicott curled into itself, wilting.

"I-I'm-Im sorry! Please-please don't-"

Katu sighed. Yeah, if she's not waking up when I tell at her face she won't wake up if I beat her Whimsicott up.

"Fine." She dismissed, jumping off again. She walked past them and into the neighbourhood proper. Everyone was asleep. Some trainers sprawled face-first on the road, their bigger Pokemon helping them get out of the way.

She approached one such pair - two Pokemon dragging a trainer across the road. One was a lillipup, who looked more than a little confused.

"Hey." Katu said, sitting down. "Know what's happening?"

Tenshi left the trainer in the shade. The lillipup sat guard. "You got this?" Tenshi asked him. The lilipup looked up. "Y-yeah. His house is just up the road, I can take him." He dragged the trainer away. Tenshi, looking at the Espeon as the lilipup vanished down the hill, answered for him. "No idea." The absol sat across from her. "I think it may have something to do with this here fog." She flicked her horn to it. "I sensed it coming, but I didn't think it would be any different from normal fog..."

Realizing that he was also probably killing his trainer by covering their mouth, Aino gently cooed and nudged them with his beak. When they didn't awaken, Aino rolled them onto his back and began to lift up very gently. The Altaria could see the whole town from above, noticing that the humans all looked asleep. A small group of Pokemon caught his attention and he slowly alighted down beside an Absol and an Espeon

Tenshi turned her head to groom her back, missing Aino completely. While her head was turned, she saw bodies laying down that weren't being dragged by pokemon. "What is happening?" She muttered to herself

Katu turned her head to regard the Altaria, curious. "I don't suppose you know what's happening? You know. Since you decided to randomly land here." She asked. She really hoped that the Altaria would know what was happening. "Because neither of us know." She paused, realizing she had no idea who either of them were. "Actually, I'm Katu, by the way. Thought you should know."

Turning at the sound of Katu's voice, Tenshi finally noticed the altaria. "Do you?" Tenshi wasn't ready to tell them her name, she looked at the bird pokemon curiously.

Glancing around primly, Aino walked around for a bit to observe what was happening. "It seems that the fog has done something to affect humans " he stated haughtily glancing worriedly at his trainer still resting on his back. "it does not look harmful, however, as they seem to simply be sleeping. Of course I have no proof of this." He didn't bother giving his name. It would become irrelevant anyways

Katu facepalmed. "Yeah, I assume neither of you actually know why this is happening." She stood up, glancing to the trainer with the lilpup. They were both gone now. She had wanted to help them, if they were still there.

"Do you think you could find out how far this fog goes? You can leave your trainer here, if you're worried they might fall off." Katu asked the Altaria.

"What?!" Bristling, Aino hissed at Katu and stepped back. "I'm not leaving them here. If there's a chance that the fog ends somewhere then of course I'm bringing them along." And with that, he heaved himself up into the air, wings flapping. "I'll save you. Just you wait " he promised his trainer.

Katu blinked, taken aback. Then, she snarled back. "Be my guest, then."

The fog she had seen rolled out from the forest, so she had little hope that Aino would be able to fly far away enough to help her trainer.

Flying out, Aino circled the town and let out a fustrated screech when he saw that the whole town was covered. He couldn't see anything else and the fog had spread as far as he could see. Even the sky wasn't clear, whisps of the fog still coming up. He couldn't see a way out. Flying further and further away from the town Aino watched as the fog continued to spread around

"I know." Katu sighed. "I think we should wait for that Altaria from before to get back down." She could hear frustrated shrieks, even from here. "And see if there's anywhere the fog doesn't extend. Hopefully he comes down soon."
