"Yes, I'm her trainer," Lucius responded. As soon as Yuumei heard Lucius's voice, she tried to get out of Henry's hold even though she was cold. "Shinx shinx shinxshinxshinxshinx," Yuumei repeated, as if she was trying to call to Lucius.

"And no, I didn't! Something happened, okay?" Lucius argued back at Hex.

“Ssh, little Shinx.” Henry whispered softly. “Something happened? Do tell.” He snapped suspiciously. “Because it better be a damn good reason for leaving this poor Pokémonaone. In the cold. In the snow.”

"Went their separate ways, I guess," Erika shrugged. "It just gives us more time to train alone. Which is welcome. I hate crowded routes. And it'll give us as much time as needed to figure out crap about one another." Including your brother. She added silently.

Lucius felt like he was cornered but glared at Henry harder. "Well you see, that camera is actually mine. It was stolen by a Scatterbug and Yuumei, my Shinx in your arms, chased after it. I'm guessing the Scatterbug finally gave up and now we're here. Happy?" he responded and Yuumei looked at Henry with puppy eyes as if to convince him to let her go.

Henry frowned for a minute, considering the possibility that Lucius could be lying. He shook it off, gently handing Yuumei back to him. “Is this your starter? Did you get it today?” He asked curiously.

“I do too.” Marla nodded, sighting. “I hipe we can beat the gyms here, though.” She smiled. “And figure out crap? More like you pestering me for information.”

Lucius gently took Yuumei back and hugged her tightly before looking back at Henry. Lucius's glare softened a bit but not enough to the point that he would be looking at the other boy without a hint of anger. "Yeah, she's my starter... also could you give that camera back to me?" he responded, pointing at his camera.

"Bingo! I've got nothing to hide and you shouldn't either. This human being keeps any and all information confidential," Erika grinned. "As for the gyms, I'm confident it won't be anything too bad. Scout here will take 'em down easily... Along with any other pokemon I catch."

Scout gave a mock growl, prompting a chuckle from Erika. She reached up and scratched behind the pokemon's ear.

Neko raised an eyebrow and continued to look around town. She would go out to the next route, but she didn't know the region all too well. Her Poochyena looked at her and gently barked before jumping into the snow.

Henry wasn't wrong. He definitely did save Yuumei from the cold. Lucius took a deep breath and exhaled to calm himself. "Well fine. Thanks..." Lucius muttered quietly and walked away with his camera back in his bag and Yuumei in his arms.

Oh, come on! Why couldn't he just go with someone else like those girls back there? Lucius said inside his head. Lucius hoped he wouldn't talk to him but Yuumei had another plan in mind. "Shinx, Shinx!" Yuumei said as she climbed out of Lucius's arms and waved hi to Henry. She was very fond of Henry.

Immediately as Henry said that, Lucius was about to snap but held back (although he really wanted to slap that stupid face of his.) Lucius walked faster, his footsteps becoming a bit heavier. Yuumei smiled at Henry and climbed up to Lucius's head to lay on it.
