Jim exhaled forcefully, but silently, so that no one would catch him snorting. You're so mistaken, Mia..

"Thanks, Devyn." Jim thanked her. "If only you'd set me down.." he realised how ungrateful that sounded, so he made a quick recovery. ".. so that I could see if I can walk or not..?"

"Woah woah" Jim wobbled a bit, but managed to balance himself just fine. "Phew." He sighed. "Thanks, you're the best." He included Devyn in a totally friendly hug.

"Ok." Jim stretched. "I'mma go get some coffee, that was the main reason I got this flexed." He moved towards the café.

He turned back and said. "Fun Fact - Falling off the stairs wakes you up quicker and more effectively than drinking coffee." He grinned and continued towards the café.

Jim took a sip and made a face. He emptied two sachets of sugar into his cup. He took another sip. "Much better. Next time, coffee's on me, remember. I won't let you pay again." Jim smiled and winked. "So, where are you from?"

"Violet city, Johto." He looked his locket and frowned. The locket wasn't very fancy, it was just a thread that kept a stone tied to his neck. The stone shone red, but didn't shine enough to make anyone uncomfortable. "Violet still reminds me of Gramps, eh?"
