"You know what? We don't have any Intel yet... and we're pretty much free.. so let's kill time at the slots as well." Jim said as went to the counter.

"Some coins please." Jim put some PokéDollar on the counter, carefully seeing as to not spend too much.

After getting coins, Jim grabbed the nearest slot machine and started playing.

"This is more complicated than I thought it would be." She said. Turn after turn she analyzed the sequence, equations and facts draining her brain. She didn't even notice Enzo who was casually sipping on a smoothie behind her.

He looked over at Nara who was thinking hard. Why is she worrying so much over a stupid game??

That wasn't a very terrible night. Kawena obviously had fear of sleeping out of his home, even if the inn was obviously secure. Mia and Lily right there helped quite a bit.
While walking down and looking for Jim, he was stopped by the clerk and given the note. Although questioning why they were on the Game Center, he walked over there anyways.

As if on cue, Mia burst into the Game Center as well, hair disheveled and a mess. "MORNING LOSERS." She grinned, attempting to fix her hair. "Heck." She sighed, successfully managing to pat it down, only for it to spring back up again. "I hate hair."

"You grew it out." Sear pointed out dryly.

"I have no idea what you're saying, but I think it has something to do with my hair."

"H-Hey! Mor-morning!" Jim said hesitatingly, with the slightest trace of a smile on his face. "Darn it again!" Jim's face suddenly retorted into an expression of mixed anguish, pain, suffering and anger. The slot machine had been trifling with him for so long. Twenty times he had almost hit the jackpot. "This is driving me crazy.." Jim said while pinching his left thigh.

That's it. Nara slammed the stop button with a straight face, landing a perfect combination of golden Magikarps. Enzo choked on his drink due to shock.

"Calm thyself." He said between chokes. "Aghh." He finally breathed after a few seconds of pure torture aka choking on your drink.

"Equations." Nara stood up while picking up the golden karp coin she earned. She headed to the counter and asked the cashier.

"No I don't want any vitamin, I want to try for the actual prize pool." She snorted as she showed the coin.

"Ma'am, I'd like to ask if you have any companions with you." Nara rolled her eyes and gestured to the group. "Ladies and gentlemen, please follow me." The cashier left the deck to lead the group.

That was cool Jim was still wondering how Nara had found math in a simple slot machine.

He followed Nara and the cashier without saying anything. His mind was empty, he was not able to think anything. What just happened was purely amazing. Normally, he'd brush it off, but five hours of suffering had taught him some respect for the underestimated slot machines.

The cashier leads them to a rather luxurious part of the center. "It's been a while since someone got to set foot here." She remarked.

"As you wait, I will explain the mechanics. The winner of the gold coin which is you," she pointed to Nara. "Will be excluded from the game." Nara didn't even flinch but her face showed disbelief.

"You may drop hints but you are not allowed to help them directly."

"Uh. What?" Jim suuddenly zoned back in, as if someone had slapped him. Nara won't be in there?

I hope the others can find what's going on, because I'm pretty much useless. His lack of self-confidence suddenly kicked in.
