Joy nodded "yes but only one at a time, he's still very weak, and I don't want to much trouble for him" she said kindly.

Tiger nodded, and thought back to Cyndaquil's battle. I wonder if Joy knows anything about that... he thought to himself sharply, and glanced at Mira. "You go ahead and see him first. I need to ask Joy something" he said softly.

She nodded and went behind the counter, going into the room where Dratini was. She had returned her pokemon.

Dratini was coiled up on the bed. He looked at his bandaged tail, and waved it exhaustedly. "Dratini tin? (why did they save me?)" he mumbled lowly. "Dratini tini drat...tini dra? (trainers can't be trusted...can they?)

Tiger waited for Mira to leave. He then turned to Nurse Joy, and explained the final move Cyndaquil unleashed in battle. "You see I'm concerned about his condition, he lost his ability to evolve years ago, but the flamethrower he shot off was stronger than if he had the blaze ability active" he explained in concern.

Joy thought for a moment, her expression was thoughtful. "Well a Pokemon who looses the ability to evolve can experience times of excess energy, and power. It's best for them to unleash it, because it could be dangerous if they don't" she said kindly.

Tiger tipped his head to the side, and crossed his arms "and if they don't?" He asked a bit more concerned.

Joy sighed "they could get hurt...or worse" she trailed off. "Just make sure you use him in battle, and if he shows any signs of unrest...bring him to the Pokemon center" she said kindly.

Tiger looked unconvinced cyndaquil is always restless when not in a battle...how will I know if he needs to unleash his stored energy... he thought uneasily, but responded cheerfully. "Thanks" he then went to the waiting room, where he rebandaged his wound,

"Hey, Dratini," Mira greeted gently. "I hope you're feeling better. We--Tiger and I--are going to look for that Rocket Grunt that did this to you and give him what he deserves."

Drafting looked up in slight confusion, "Dratini tin? (So you both saved me?)" he mumbled lowly. He then shook his head "Dratini...tini tin drat (thanks...but that grunt is long gone)" he sighed in defeat.

Mira shrugged. "I wish I could understand you... But, just know that Tiger and I care about you. We want you to get better," She smiled softly. "I better go switch with Tiger. He'll be able to talk to you," She turned and waved, heading back outside.

Dratini nodded, and waved a goodbye, using his tail. "Dra? Dratini drat tini?(Tiger? Isn't he related to a Rocket grunt?)" he muttered to himself.

Tiger was still focused on bandaging his hand that he didn't notice Mira walk out of the room. I've got to make sure Cyndaquil stays active... he thought to himself as he thought of his conversation with Joy.

Tiger looked up in slight confusion, and nodded. "It does, but it'll heal" he said simply about his hand, and got to his feet. "I was just thinking about Cyndaquil" he said half to himself, and shook the thought away.

Mira let her pokemon back out. "Ivy ivysaur?" (What'd he say?)

"You know I don't speak pokemon, Ivysaur," She mumbled. "But I told him we'd find the Rocket Grunt that did it."

"Growl growlithe," (She's getting better.) Growlithe pointed out to the other pokemon.

"Pikachu, pika pika pi," (Of course, but she's still not fluent.) Pikachu shrugged.

Tiger walked into Dratini's room, and looked around. "Dratini? Are you awake?" He asked kindly once he walked in.

Dratini looked up, at first he thought it was Snow. He growled protectively and slithered back. "Dratini!? Tin tini tin (Snow!? Leave me alone)" he growled.

Tiger sighed in annoyance I need to figure out a way to stop people from thinking I'm Snow... he thought to himself. "I'm not Snow...I'm Tiger." Tiger began softly, and relaxed when Dratini nodded slowly.

"Dra. Dratini'a tin. (Tiger. Snow's brother)" he said simply.

"Half brother..." Tiger trailed off. "How are you feeling" he asked hoping to change the subject.

"Dratin (better)" Dratini began. "Dratini drat tini tin (though your friend wants to find that rocket grunt)" he sighed. Tiger nodded, and thought for a moment maybe it'd be best if we do look for that grunt...Dratini might feel better when we take him down a notch or two...

Mira sighed and gave her pokemon some berries, munching on a pecha berry for herself. "Tiger will be able to talk to him much better than I ever could. He can actually speak pokemon."

Tiger left the room after hearing how Dratini thinks about the rocket grunt getting away. He told the Pokemon that he would try everything he could, and allowed the Pokemon to sleep. He walked out of the room, and overheard Mira speaking to her Pokemon. Feeling awkward about his ability for the first time in a while, he scratched the back of his neck "umm....if it bothers you that I can speak to Pokemon I could try and teach you, or I could try and keep it to myself" he said uncertain that he should have heard that.

Mira looked back, surprised. "It doesn't bother me, honestly. I prefer it if you talk to pokemon, actually; it makes communication all the easier," She said with a smile. "Besides; I'm learning, slowly yet surely."

Tiger nodded, and looked around slightly. "It might not be easy..." He said softly. "Lugia gave me the ability, but learning it yourself could be hard." He smiled, and looked at Mira; then at Ivysaur, and finally Pikachu "but I believe you can manage it" he finished softly.

Tiger nodded kindly, and went over to the counter, where his Pokemon waited. "I think I'm going to stay in Cerulean until Dratini is better. You can go on if you'd like, I don't want to hold you back from getting Surge's badge" he said quietly to Mira. He was slightly concerned for Dratini's health, and the last thing he wanted to do was leave Dratini alone. His Cyndaqul, Poliwag, and Jolteon jumped off the counter, and looked at Mira and then to Tiger quietly. Cyndaquil then jumped onto Tiger's shoulder.

"Pfft. You kidding? I'm staying right here. We've made it this far together," Mira shook her head.

"Pika pikachu-" (But Surge is-)

"Grow, grow! Growlithe growl," (We know, we know! He's the electric-type leader.) Growlithe cut Pikachu off, groaning. "Growlithe growl growlithe." (We go where Mira goes.)

"Pika..." (Fine...) Pikachu rolled his eyes.
