Sebastian laughed with her, absolutely loving the sound of her laugh. "Devilish angel," he chuckled, enjoying his own play on words. "I swear you are perfect for me."

Sebastian smiled, then checked the fish again. Finding it cooked, he pulled it out of the stream and covered it with some more seaweed. "Ready to head back? Friends and family will have most likely set up a party. Word will be out that this ceremony is underway."

"I'm ready as I'll ever be!" Angel offered to help him carry the fish, knowing he could do it, but they were truly a team now and she wanted to help.

Sebastian let her, taking her hand. "Sounds good." When they returned, they found the community waiting, many relieved to see one of their own returned. And under the happy news of essentially a marriage.

A banquet had been set out, with more fish and food as well. Lily hurried forward, taking the fish from them and setting it in the middle. "Lets see how well you two did as a team!" she announced, unwrapping the fish. Her face light up when she saw it, a good sign.

"Looks like he learned a thing or two cooking wise. But I'm sure it was having Angel there to help," Barracuda teased, clapping Sebastian on the back.

Angel giggled. "It was," She stage whispered, but still keeping it quiet so not everyone heard. It was a team effort. You caught it and I reminded you to not burn it. She chuckled softly.

Sebastian chuckled, wrapping an arm around her waist and kissing her. "This beauty deserves a lot of the credit."

"Well, I say it bodes well for a happy life together. Now, let's feast!" Lily declared, moving back so that the couple could cut the fish up for those present.

Angel was so happy. Things were going perfectly and so far she was being accepted. Just the land part was something that concerned her. What if his family expected him and her to stay here for the rest of their lives? "Together?" She motioned to the fish so they could cut it together.

The crowd cheered, slapping tails together to celebrate the new couple. Sebastian smiled, kissing Angel as they finished the cut. We belong to one another now. We are one. people swam forward to eat and talk, to be merry and simply live.

Angel threw her arms around him to hug him tightly. Oh I love you so much! They had done it! They were a pair! She had started crying, but the water around them kept it hidden.

Angel used her tail to spin them around a little. "I'm so happy Sebastian! Our life together has truly begun!" Of course they could come visit, and they would have to come back here to visit as well, and bring those little faces in the window.

Sebastian laughed, bubbles raising from his gills and mouth. "It has!" He had to shield them, but thoughts of proposing to her in front of their land family swam through his head. He could not wait to give her everything. I have enough treasures stored away down here to start that house. Or but it. Chest full of treasures. They are doing nothing but gathering dust down here. They are human artifacts, belonging in musuems. I am not asking for an arm and a leg for them. In fact, I will donate some to museums. But I will be selfish and make enough to get us started and last for at least those little faces childhoods.
