"Then I will make sure that Sebastian sees all of the world, even if I have to carry him, it'd be worth it in my eyes." Angel realized that they didn't know about her wings, and she didn't even know if she'd be able to show them in this form or if she'd need to find some dry land. Perhaps they wouldn't notice? "I will let you know if it's too tight or not." She gasped softly as she saw the net of pearls. It was so pretty! "I'm sure that no matter what color they pick, Sebastian will still be just as handsome." She wouldn't have minded if Lena touched her hair at all. Some of the people that she helped like to feel it and or her wings. She didn't mind one bit. "I think you look very pretty yourself Lena, though I'm not quite sure I remember what your coloring reminds me of... I don't know too much about marine animals..."

Lily smiled, patting Angel's arm. "Thank you, hon. Thank you."

Lena smiled, flicking her tail lightly. Thank you. My markings and make up is different from most of the others here. I am closer to a lionfish then their more shark like look. You're fins look more angelfish to me," Lena said, smiling softly.

Angel returned the smile before returning her gaze to Lena. "Lionfish. That's the name of it. I could remember how it looked, but not the name, and really? That's sort of funny considering my name..."

"Perhaps whoever gave you your fins did so on purpose? Or whatever higher power lays claim to us did so. Either way, they are very pretty." Lena smiled, pulling out other pretty jewelry and trinkets. She also had small glass containers. Inside were different colored pastes they used to decorate their skin. "Any of these colors call to you?"

"I wouldn't put it past them to have done that on purpose, but I'm pretty sure that it was whoever watches over me who planned it this way." Angel looked down at her fins and nodded as she agreed about liking them. She looked over at the colors and found that a soft sea green color was one that sort of spoke to her. "I really like this one, can I ask how you made these? I'm assuming that you used different materials to make each one..."

Lena and lily smiled over her comment on her fins. Lily finished the braid and began to coil it the base of her neck. "We use mud, sand and shells to make the different colors. Rocks and bone can be used as well. This happens to be shell, sands, and some ground up kelp."

"It looks beautiful. May I ask if any of them have a meaning or something like that? Sort of how flowers on land can have meanings behind them, or are symbolic of something." Angel was being polite and wanted to learn as much as she could without asking for lessons.

"In this case? No. Mating rituals are pretty primal. We have added to them to make them seem more cultivated but really, it is a primal affair. Some of the trinkets are used to signify longer life, fertility, or successful hunting. I can help you pick that kind of thing out. What do you hope to have with your life with Sebastian?" Lena asked, getting the idea right away.

Angel hummed softly as she thought about it for only a moment. "Happiness. Happiness in whatever fate allows us." She would be happy even if they never got the house, just as long as they had one another.

Angel was very happy for the hug and returned it gladly. "Would you help me apply it? I'm not really sure how... I never really was one for makeup..." She chuckled.

Lena smiled, nodding. "I'll teach you the symbols too! We don't have a lot of written language like you do, but these are important. Long life, happiness, loyalty, and family. There is more but for this, I think those will work best. The rest will just be interesting patterns. Anything I should draw inspiration from?" she asked, opening the bottle and scooping some out.

"Wings, feathers, and the wind." Angel smiled broadly. She hadn't been able to see her back, so she didn't know if her tattoos were visible in this shape, but she knew that Sebastian would understand. "Use your artistic creativity as much as you can..."

"So I should carry on to the markings on your back?" Lena asked, lightly tracing a finger over the tattoos. "They are lovely, by the way."

"What do they mean? Was it done in memory of someone? Or something?" Lily asked, getting some of the paste to help mark Angel with.

Angel gasped softly as she hadn't expected the touch, but it didn't hurt or anything like that, just startled her a little. "Thank you, and yes, like the markings there." She turned her head a little to look at Lily if she could. "I don't remember if we had said that our family up there have powers, but I myself have powers. Those markings are part of my power. They actually are my wings. I don't know if I can bring them out in this form, but as a human I can spread my wings and fly with them." She would be very willing to explain how she got her powers if they wanted.

Lena gasped in surprise. "Really?! That is...that is amazing! Is swimming at high speeds like flying? I've watched birds and often wondered what it would be like to have that ability. How did you get them?" she asked, her hands drilling for a moment.

Lily was transfixed as well. "That is truly an amazing blessing! May I ask what else your family can do?"

Angel giggled and raised her hands. "Oh goodness, well, it is very much like flying, but with flying it's a bit more free feeling. As for how I got them, that's a little bit of a story. I would be happy to tell you if you'd like to hear it. As for what else my family can do, well," She chuckled. "We all have our own special abilities, and I hope you'll meet them all in time."

"Well, when I was born, I was very sick, my mother died in child birth, and my father left. My grandparents came in and had the doctors put me on machines to keep me alive. They did that for a long time. The doctors told them that it really was pointless to keep me on the machines since I wasn't getting better. It took a bit of time for them to make the decision, but they did. When they pulled the plug a bright light filled the room, and all of a sudden it vanished, leaving me there healthy and happy as ever. My grandparents named me Angel, and from then on I was their little angel." Angel smiled, remembering how they'd tell her this story. "After they got me home, they found these tattoos on my back. I not knowing how to use them would have them pop out at random times, and so as I got older I had to learn how to let them out and get them back into the tattoos, and that was when I started developing my powers..." Angel then explained about how she used her powers during her childhood, and then as she got older about how she used it for her grandparents, and eased them into their deaths. She finished with a soft sigh. "Since then I've continued helping other people with my abilities."

Lily cleaned her fingers on some seaweed before gently cupping Angel's face in her hands while she let the paste work it's way into Angel's skin to stay. "You, dear child, are an absolute wonder...I am so happy to have met you and claim you as family."

"Uh oh," came Sebastian's chuckle. "You have been claimed, my dear Angel!" He was grinning, his own skin and tail covered in the mother of pearl iridescence like Lena had said he would be. He had a massive tuna clutched in one hand and a spear in the other.
