Aimi finished counting her things with a triumphant call of,
"Phone, check! They're all here!" She sighed in relief and glared
at her parents in their car before walking off to the campsite.
"Stupid mom, forcing me to this stupid camp... Stupid! Hmph!", she
grumbled as she trudged along. She soon arrived at the girls'
cabins.
London headed towards the cabins, trying not to slip back into that
horrible snappish mood that got her into all the previous camps and
out of them too. She'd try to be cheerful, don't get me wrong, but
she wasn't all that good at it. She hoped, though, that someone
would make her more cheerful. Just the thought of that
lightened her mood.
Bonnie sighed as she kissed her mom's cheek. "Bye mom, dad." She
said, waving. They waved back, and she turned. She had a backpack
on and a suitcase rolled behind her as she went to the check in.
She wasn't sure how to feel... Scared, happy, excited? She exhaled
softly and looked around as she entered the building.
Grey and Eve held hands as they got their stuff. Eve giggled as
Grey yelped. "This is heavy!" He whined, nearly dropping his
suitcase. He pulled up the handle, and let it down. Eve rolled her
eyes as she got her's. She let out a huff, then followed her
brother. They entered, getting in line.
marshal hopped out of his father's car and said his goodbye after
he had collected all of his stuff, which was a backpack, a gym bag,
and a small back that rested against his hip like a mailman's mail
bag.
he took a deep breathe and headed in through the gate as his father
drove off, not seeming to care that his spearmint hair was a
complete mess since he was in a hurry to get stuff together.
rosetta had all her stuff beside her and waved her mother goodbye
as she drove off once she had her stuff, tear's swelling up in her
eye's. hopefully this summer camp has nice people.... she thought,
grabbing her suitcases handle and picking her backpack up as she
headed into the camp, rubbing the tear's out of her eye's.
Abby finished checking in, trying to tune out her
parents, who'd actually bothered to come in person,, while they
talked to the camp directors. Dragging her suitcase in the gravel,
she started towards the cabins,, which where marked out on the map
Abby had been provided. Whether all campers got one or not was
beyond her, but Abigail wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if
her parents had it special made or some crap. Typical of them, to
be honest.
Ignoring her mother, who'd finally shut her yapper long enough to
notice Abby was gone and started yelling for her, the red-head
continued to walk. Her bare feet didn't even sting while she strode
on the rocks, years without shoes protecting them from the stone.
It wasn't long before Abigail made her way to the girl's cabins,
and she promptly, but quietly, swung open one of the doors and made
her way inside. Oh, this will be fun,, picking out someone to
live with for the next who knows how long ! she thought,
sarcastically,, looking around the structure for empty bunks,,
occasionally brushing her excessively messy curls out of the
way.
Aimi whipped out her sketchbook, pencils, and MP3 player. She put
her earbuds on and began to draw the shapes of two cats playing
with eachother.
(open for interaction)
When she arrived at the camp, she noticed the camp was bustling
with life. Everyone seemed to know each other already, and fitting
in would be hard. She slowly walked into the camp.
Grey and Eve checked in, and sighed. Eve exited the building after
smooching Grey's cheek, heading to the girl's cabins. Grey waved to
his sister as she left, but sighed. He headed to the boy's cabins
and opened the door to one. He tossed the door open, padding in. He
knew his parents had listed him as 'female' though he changed it
while they were gone. He unpacked quickly, smiling. He sat on the
bed, and laid back.
Ari kind of just walked around, glancing at people every once in a
while. She felt kind of awkward, just glancing at other people in
the middle of conversations.
marshal and rosetta both had checked in and went off to find a
cabin.
rosetta walked into a cabin and looked around, seeing as three of
the bunk's had been taken. bottom bunk for me then, which i preferred not to climb into a
top bunk anyway she thought, going over to the last empty bed
and putting her stuff down.
~~~~~
marshal went into a cabin and looked around, noticing that there
was someone still inside the cabin relaxing.
''oh, hello'' he said, giving a small wave to the other kid laying
in one of the bed's as he went and claimed a bottom bunk on the
other side of the cabin.
Grey looked up and smiled at the other boy. "Hey." He hummed,
laying back down and staring at the ceiling.
Bonnie exited the building, her hand in her pocket. She held the
suitcase with one hand and stared at the big lake in the middle of
camp. Shaking her head, she headed off towards the girl cabins.
Abby finally settled on a bunk, and set down her
things. Her neatly packed, while stuffed to the rim,, leather
suitcase sat next to the bunk. Figuring she'd fall off the top bunk
via thrashing around during sleep, as she usually did, Abby set up
her stuff on the bottom bunk. That was how she broke her first
bone, falling from a top bunk, and how she lost her bunk bed -
parents claiming it was unsafe. Abby pulled out her iPhone and
headphones from the suitcase,, shoving her phone in her sweater
pocket,, and placing the headphones on her, well, head.
She began to hum quietly while she unpacked, completely blocking
out the outside world. At one point she began mouthing the words,,
and from there she began to softly sing. Abigail wasn't the most
skilled singer, but it wasn't quite painful to listen to. A fair
mix of 'eh' and good. During the first song, Abby had set up her
bedspread,, and was now working on moving all her clothes from the
suitcase and bag(s) to the hangers provided.
Bonnie stepped into a form, and noticed a girl singing.
'Probably can't hear me.' She thought, before heading to a
bed. It was near the other girl's, and she glanced over. Bonnie
sighed, and unzipped her suitcase. She got out the bedspread and
pillow she owned, before getting out a fluffy pillow. She started
putting on the bedspread, humming and shaking her hips a bit.
''hope i wasn't interrupting a nap or anything, wouldn't want to
accidentally ruin someone's beauty sleep that way'' he said, the
last part mostly as a joke as he started unpacking his
clothe's.
~~~~~
rosetta quickly finished unpacking the stuff that needed unpacked
and put the rest of her stuff on her bed near the head in the
corner, then took her leather jacket off.
she sat down on her bed and folded it, setting it at the head of
the bed with the rest of her stuff before she went out to explore
the camp.
[ooc : sorry for any
spelling/grammatical errors i was in a rush :'>]
At one point, Ren stepped out to grab some extra hangers for
her clothes. Stepping back in, she noticed another girl was
occupying the bottom bunk. She was humming to a song while setting
up her bed. Ren sighed. At least she seemed neat about everything.
Walking past her, she climed up to her own bunk and started to pull
a bedsheet over her mattress.
Once that task was finished, she climbed back down and grabbed a
couple of blankets since she would get quite cold during the night.
She neatly arranged them on her bunk and flopped down on it. Taking
out her ipod, she started to plug her earbuds in, but someone else
had walked into their cabin. great, another
one,,
