Brunhilde could hear the other lion racing off, her pawsteps jolting away. Are we in any kind of danger? Brunhilde thought with some fear at least, but continued to massage the lion's back gently and was relieved when he coughed up some more liquid so she moved down the spine slightly to feel any possible issues lower down near the heart or if there was any clear tension or pressure. Letting out a small sigh of relief, she moved back to the lungs when it became apparent that the lion was recovering and put some light force on the lungs that would cause more liquid to come up and clear the airways. Who'd have thought it would be easier to do this on a lion than a human? she asked herself briefly before continuing and hoping that the lion would open his eyes momentarily.

Ghembo
The translator hacked up some more fluids, groaning. His tail whipped against the ground feverishly. Ghembo licked his lips; they were getting dry from worry. He felt horrible watching the translator die and the human pulling him from that brink.
Finally, the translator rolled over, eyelids halfway up. He blinked, before spitting up more liquid. However, moments later, he thumped back on the ground, eyes closed, gentle breaths coursing through him.

When the lion moved, Brunhilde stopped moving her hands across his pelt and gave the lion and gentle stroke with her hand before getting to her feet.
"He'll be fine I think, best thing he needs is rest - But we still need to keep an eye on him in case of any anomalies." she finished giving a glance to Ghembo. "Should we head back to camp carrying him or stay here?" she asked, a bit worried on the lion's well-being, and with Sheera gone, it would be a massive weight and would take a long time to bring him back to camp. Either way, he needs rest.

Ghembo
Ghembo growled at the human, trying to convey the message. "The translator's down. I can't understand you." Its squeal before had been accented with subtle hints and gestures towards the collapsed lion, but he couldn't understand whatever Brunhilde was saying. He sat on his haunches and gave a lazy yawn. "Should probably move the prey into the shade." He grumbled to himself. And maybe the translator too.
He gently pulled the translator by his hind leg to the edge of the forest, where it was more shady. He padded back to get the prey as well.
As he plopped down beside the two motionless bodies, he grunted to the human, imitating the way they shake their heads at one another. "Come sit," he said, even though he knew it was pointless.

Brunhilde looked at the two lions, the translator was still down and looked unwell but granted, his breathing had improved and she could visibily see his heart beating under his pelt. Giving a suspicious glance over beside the two, she walked near them and sat down opposite them, under another tree. Without the translator's skills, there was no way in hell she'd be able to understand any of their growls or roars so she'd try not to irritate them. Sitting under the tree, she caught glance of Ghembo moving his jaw but again, she lacked the ability to formally understand him. She enjoyed the peace for once, having a lion close by would prevent some predators hopefully from coming nearby and she felt somewhat relaxed. Then again, she grumbled to herself, You don't know what's in these damn trees or bushes.

(Aaaaa I'm sorry I haven't been posting much again, I have a maths exam on thursday so I'm crushed under stress and revision. Should start posting more often after that! ^^)

Ariana sped through the forest, her heart beating as fast as her legs moved, her nose locked onto Sheera's familiar scent; a scent that became stronger and stronger and closer and closer until...

*Smack*

"Ugh..." Ariana muttered, angry at herself for not looking where she was going. What had she just bumped into? Looking up, she was surprised, yet a little relieved, to see Sheera sitting a few feet away looking equally dizzy.

"Sheera! Are you okay? What was that roar?" She had so many questions, but two were enough for now. As long as Sheera was safe, Ariana was happy.

Ghembo
Ghembo's tail flicked impatiently as he settled his head down on his front paws. The wait for the other lion to wake up was killing him. However, there was no choice, because of the painfully hot sun drying up the land. They had two options: wait for night when the edge of day would be dulled by the coolness of the dark, or wait for the lion to wake up. Either way, Ghembo was extremely impatient, and he began to hone his elemental power, making vines grow towards him and wither, creating flowers around him, staring off saplings and the like.

Sheera
Sheera was dazed for a moment, her head buzzing from the collision. When the questions tumbled out of Ariana's mouth, she laughed. "Yeah, I'm fine." She nuzzled Ariana affectionately under the chin. "Are you alright? You plowed into me at about a million miles per hour." Sheera teased, feeling uncharacteristically carefree. "The roar was Ghembo freaking out over a collapsed lion." She paused, imagining shock flash across Ariana's face and hastily added, "The lion's okay. Oh, and Ghembo's one of the three leaders of our pride." She gave Ariana a once over. "When was the last time you ate? And are you sure you are okay?"

Ariana giggled for the first time in- actually, she couldn't remember the last time she had laughed. She returned Sheera's nuzzle, breathing in her comforting scent. "Yeah, I'm fine." She replied. "A little dizzy though. Sorry about that!"
She paused. "I haven't eaten for a few days, but I should be fine for a bit longer." She paused again, another question wandering across her mind. "The other lions - do they need any help? I may be able to tell when the unconscious one might wake up!" As soon as she had finished her sentence, another thought struck her. "Unless they don't like... outsiders."

Sheera
Sheera winced. Ariana had hit the nail right on the head; lions generally did not accept outsiders, and especially with the human just joining... it might not be the brightest idea that Ariana would pay them a visit. The idea was tempting, however.
"..." She paused before saying, "No. I don't think that's a wise idea. Ghembo may not accept you, and if he does..." Again, she paused. "Male lions may... take advantage of you." Her tail swept the leafy brush and gave a harsh bark of laughter. "Lions are seen as being honorable and righteous." She looked up into the canopy of the forest. "But most of them are just damn good at lying."

(Sorry guys, haven't been on due to moving! T-T)

(Don't really know what to do tbh.. xD)
Brunhilde glanced over to Ghembo and watched his actions, seeing vines decay, flowers bloom, before the whole 'elementals' happened to this Earth, it would have looked like something out of a Hollywood film, now she eyed it with little interest. She had seen small vicious dogs spurt fire out of their bodies, birds change wind patterns, she could continue her list, relaxing back, she leaned to one side and looked behind her. The lioness, Sheera, had headed off for some unknown reason. I hope she's not in any danger or harm.. she looked back over to Ghembo but knew that saying anything to him would be pointless. All she could do was to stay put for the moment and hope that the other creature wasn't in any other danger and she focused her gaze now onto the translator, whom she knew she had to be patient with.

Zaire was still travelling up the river. He could smell sufficent prey. Flanked by three smaller crocodiles he stayed beside the shore of the river, just in case they needed a quick defence or needed to use their strengths for combat. The group slowly made their way, but kept silent, using the mud to cloak hard footsteps and avoiding churning or splashing the water for any abnormal noises. When close enough, he could smell it. Glancing through the reeds, he could see it. A downed lion. Sure, he was close by to another lion and he could still faintly smell another on the horizon, but taking down one lion seemed to be simple enough. But... he grumbled hesitantly to himself, realising that the river was in a shaded forest and that to reach the lions, they would have to leave the comfort of the river, leaving their most tactical and defensive position in the possible fight. Zaire couldn't hide his reluctance from the others, hunting a lion or two would feed them and other members of the bask, given the lack of prey around the river and camp, they didn't eat as well as they did, however, if these lions were earth based elementals, well, their probability of success would certainly decrease.
However, anger at starvation and grief at the loss of members can do something to a leader. Filled with some determination, he flicked his tail, signalling his members to get into an arrangement around the prey. Four of us, Two of them.. Zaire grunted with some happiness, The odds should be in our favour then.

"Ha, yeah I knew it..." Ariana tailed off, shuffling her paws in the dirt and fallen leaves of the forest floor. "You'd better get back to the other lions;" She said, looking up at Sheera. "They're probably wondering where you've gone. I'll stay around here for now, we can go hunting later if you're still up for it." She gave the lioness an affectionate flick with her tail and nuzzled her slightly.

"If you need any help you can shout for me or send a signal or something, I won't be far." Ariana glanced up at the sky, checking the position of the sun. "It won't be long before nightfall, I can use my powers again then."

Sheera
Sheera licked Ariana's cheek, giving a weak smile. "Yeah, I'm up for hunting." Her tail kicked up a flurry of leaves as she flicked it angrily. "I wish you were a lion... so you could be a part of our pride." Sheera mourned wistfully. Her heart felt like it was in her throat, stuffing it closed, and yet weighing down her stomach. "For the signal: how's about a rapid three call?" She demonstrated quietly, giving a trio of staccato barks. "Is that alright?"

(I'm not gonna reply until Sheera runs back to the other lions, 'cause Ghembo has nothing to do, but wait X3)

"I wish I was a lion right now as well." Ariana replied, returning Sheera's weak smile. "And that call is fine. You'd best go now before the other lions come looking for you, I'll be fine here."

Sheera
Sheera gave Ariana's cheek a final lick before turning tail and running, promising Ariana mentally that she would hunt with her later. Her tail whipped through the wind, and she felt a small pang of regret, which she immediately shoved down to the deepest part of her. She didn't want to show any emotion when she met up with Ghembo. Her footsteps, silent and fast, sped towards the trio.

Ghembo
Ghembo gave a warning growl to the human as he stood up, one hundred percent aggression. Something was running towards the three of them, and at a very fast pace, apparently unconcerned with the racket it was making. It was either a very powerful creature or a very stupid one.
He shifted into an attack position, facing the patch of forest that was producing the noise. He hoped the human could recognize the eminent danger and hide behind something. He caught a whiff of Sheera's scent, and relaxed. He sat on his haunches, smiling to himself at his wary nature; he should've known it was-
WHAM
not Sheera. A huge tiger, almost twice the size of a regular lion, which, thankfully, Ghembo was not, dwarfed the nature lion, and roared in his ear with an oddly powerful force. Ghembo snarled back his challenge, and threw the tiger off of him in outrage. It landed lightly on its feet.
Sheera, her expression wild and her fur windswept, gave an odd trio of barks, screaming at the top of her lungs. "There's more! I think the whole tribe is here!"
"Damn it!" Ghembo screeched. His mind was racing. The tribe of wildcats, all misfits and the like, had been trying to steal his pride's land for months. He hadn't even thought about them, with the excitement of the human's appearance.
From behind, another cat attacked, this one a leopard with tremendous strength. The collision wooshed the air out from Ghembo's lungs. He gave a strangled yowl, trying to throw it off. No use. Sheera was fighting off the tiger, but if there was more, no way they would last long. Ghembo bit his lip. This was the end.

Ears pricking at the sound of Sheera's call, Ariana wasted no time in charging after the lioness, her heart racing and her sense of dread growing as thundering roars and yowls echoed through the trees. What was happening? As she approached a small clearing she found out - Sheera, along with a nature lion who Ariana assumed to be Ghembo were struggling against a huge tribe of wild cats. Lying nearby was the collapsed lion. Creeping over to him, Ariana willed her message find it's way into his hopefully consious mind. Attack!

Glancing back over at Sheera, Ariana was horrified to see her being overpowered by a massive tiger, and letting out a roar of rage, the snow lion threw herself at Sheera's attacker, claws and teeth bared and her eyes glowing with a fiery anger.

Sheera
Sheera reeled back in shock as a blur rammed into the tiger. Through the iron scent of blood, she could smell Ariana, and all the anger that came along with her. Half blinded by blood leaking through a cut above her eye, she threw herself at the tiger that was struggling to fight the fury of Ariana. Sheera sank her claws into its hide, whipping her tail to keep her balance atop the monster. It howled savagely and turned away from Ariana for a moment to try to claw off Sheera, exposing its corded neck.

Ghembo
Fight!
Ghembo blinked against the hazy world. Colors blurred together, smells felt like acid, and sounds seemed indistinct and far away. He vaguely felt wetness on his side, and pain that seemed to be white hot, but was dimmed and dull. Where was he?
Ghembo swore to himself, consciousness and pain returning angrily. He shifted slightly; no use. He couldn't do it before, and now that he was dizzy with loss of blood and lack of oxygen, he couldn't do much more than shift. In the back part of his mind, he remembered he was not a normal lion, and he repeated this to himself, trying to recall how he was not. Then he remembered.
Releasing a weak growl, he used vines from the surrounding area to slowly drag the leopard off. It scrabbled for purchase in his fur, but Ghembo continued to pull it off. It fell to the ground with a thud.
Ghembo stood up, a little too quickly, apparently. The world swayed as he regained his breath. As everything steadied, he glanced at the leopard, and with a single thought, sent vines tying it to the ground. It yowled in rage and anger. It would be questioned later.
Ghembo checked his side, wincing as he saw the gaping wound against his side. It didn't have to be fatal. He could wait the battle out, and the lion who had all the herbs (whom was called the Witch Doctor, because of his knack for healing lions of usually fatal wounds) and live his regular life.
But that would be cowardly.
He growled off the thoughts, and, roared to the sky. He hoped his pride would hear it, but he doubted it; they were over four miles away. He limped towards the tiger, trying to help Sheera, when another creature bowled him over.
He never got a good look at its face, because the translator rammed into it, dislodging the creature, and snapped its neck with a clean motion. The light lion gave a parting glance to him. "My name is Blight," he smiled, before whirling into motions that seemed too fast for an elemental lion, especially one whose powers weren't going to work for another twelve hours.
Ghembo padded woozily over to the leopard, and made a pollen appear that would hopefully knock the leopard out. He passed out from blood loss next to the lion before he could tell.

(Is it alright if I momentarily RP as Blight, since Sheera is busy trying to kill the tiger with Ariana, and Ghembo is passed out? XD
And oh my goodness gravy, that was a really long passage, sorry!)

(Sure! And that's fine, I'm really enjoying this! ^^)

Seeing the tiger's neck exposed, Ariana sunk her claws into it, causing the beast to roar in pain and let go of Sheera. Ariana was consumed in fury and bloodlust; it was all too tempting to just finish him off. Instead she turned to Sheera as if seeking approval - Ariana had no idea what the other lions attitudes would be towards her, and she didn't want to get off to a bad start.

Sheera
Sheera gave a shallow dip of her head, studying the hungry gleam in Ariana's eyes. She had felt like that before, multiple times in her time on Earth. The need to take a life was often manifested in stressful situations, and Sheera had wanted (and considered) to murder some lions in the pride before. "These creatures are monsters." She hissed, her eyes locked on the tiger's glaring eyes. "All they want is our land. Kill all that you can."

Blight
Blight's heart was pounding fiercely as he dove on top of yet another enemy. It yelped in surprise, but was cut off abruptly by his sharp snap of his jaws around its throat. It had little time to appreciate the tremendous pain that erupted throughout its body. Where this energy had come from, he was not sure. Even if he had not had his heart trouble, he, as a Light elemental, should have been sleeping now. However, he felt more alive than ever.
Yet, even as he downed enemies by the doubles {dozens sounds like waaaay too many, don't you agree?}, more flooded into the area. His fur was brushed against, snapped at, torn, and ripped off from many fights, and he looked much like a toddler's old plaything. His strength never wavered.

(Okie-dokie~ Meet Blight, the new... super lion? Ikindasortahaveanidea...maybe)

Seeing Sheera's nod, Ariana sunk her teeth into the tiger's throat and stayed there until she felt the tiger go limp underneath her. She hadn't felt this powerful in a long time. Swinging round to check for surprise attackers, she saw a light lion taking out more of the enemies, and threw herself into the fray.
