she lowered her sword and narrowed her eye's.

Carter was getting annoyed. Didn't that guy know that you could burn up if you used too many spells? Maybe it was time to teach him a lesson. "Sa-Mir!" Carter yelled. This hieroglyph would work. He knew it. Percy waved at the hieroglyph for "Pain" playfully. He obviously didn't know what was coming. And that was the first time Carter heard Percy scream. (I picture Sa-Mir like I picture Crucio from Harry Potter, so sorry if it's a bit overboard.)

Annabeth went from "almost-killing-Callie" position to "almost-killing-Carter", as quickly as one would say "I'm so dead".
