Morning came and Lucas opened his eyes. It took a moment for him to remember where he was. He got up and put his hoodie back on, aside from what he was wearing, it was all he had.

He did some stretches to limber up. He still ached a little, but he felt much better than he had last night. He wondered if Bellatrix was up yet, he remembered she had ears and a tail. His curiosity battled with his caution as he left the bedroom to look around the warehouse.

Bellatrix was in the kitchen (which is attached to the main room) cooking breakfast. This wonderful smell wafted down the hall to Lucas's room, the scent of eggs, bacon, and toast calling out to him. Bellatrix pulled out two plates and began piling food on them, setting them down on the main table, which was a polished wood, with soft, moss covered logs for chairs. "Hey, are you up yet?" she shouted. "I made breakfast!"

Shadow had driven the man to the hospital in which they took him and he paid for the medical process. During the time, he felt so exposed for being in a human hospital with his ears in the open. His tail was covered by the long length of his jacket. He flew back home to where he got ready to go somewhere.

Lucas sniffed the air as the scent of bacon and eggs wafted by him. Then he heard Bellatrix shout. He followed her voice, and the smell, to the kitchen. He stood there, unsure what to do, and looked at the two places that were set.

"This," he paused, "smells delicious."

"Why thank you! I haven't had guests in a while, so I thought I would cook some breakfast for us!" she said, smiling from the kitchen. "Now, what would you like to drink? I have orange juice, cranberry juice, tomato juice, cherry juice, apple juice, lemonade, milk, soy milk, chocolate milk, goat milk, soda, and water." she asked, pulling the fridge open.

"Water is fine." replied Lucas. He walked towards the table. "Thanks for letting me stay here, um..." Lucas wasn't sure he had caught her name. Lucas looked at where he had seen her ears. He wondered if she had been at the laboratory he escaped from, but wasn't sure how to bring it up. He didn't want to offend his hostess after she had been so kind to him.

Shadow had put a tuxedo on, because he was going to his father's funeral. He flew there, landing with his wings folded before walking up to his mother, whom he hadn't seen since a lab accident.

Shadow had finished his funeral. He had done something he never spoke about. After he left, he left a note on his mothers car, explaining who he was now since the lab. and he flew back to the town, somehow losing his jacket and tuxedo to the wind. He was now dressed in a tank-top and a pair of jeans as he dove into the ground of the town.

(@Shade actually, I live in an abandoned factory. It is just attached to a warehouse, which the bedrooms, facilities, and activity rooms are in.)
