Black boots tapped on the floor as a young women marched briskly down the hallway. The walls were painted a shade of dark blue, and the flooring was a dark red carpet with some kind of diamond design.
"You would think that Team Dimension's hallways would be jet-black." Raven muttered. "Or maybe bright pink with rainbows." Her dark purple hair glinted violet in the light as she walked by, scanning the doorways with her dark eyes. A Skarmory perched on her shoulder gave a harsh screech in response. "Skar... Skarmory!" Raven smiled ever so slightly. "Glad to see that you agree."
Finally, Raven reached the doorway she was looking for. Without even hesitating, she pushed it open. This is where Team Dimension's leader is going to announce the basic rules and all of that related stuff is going to happen. Perhaps she might meet a new recruit or two.
Then again, Raven doesn't like people.
Title: Ferry
A button was pressed and a 'ding-dong!' was heard all over the "Passengers, we are pleased to tell you that we are arriving at our destination. Please gather your belongings, as well any pokemon and remain seated." With that, the ferry slowed down until stopping.
((You guys don't mind that I played solely as an NCP for a post, do you? It's just the humans need to get a move on. Also, I don't think any of you got off the ferry yet. Any of you, feel free to use Neil, because he probably won't ever appear again.

Hope your life will get better soon.))
Title: Sanctuary Island
His feet moved without his permission, one foot in front of the other. His small crystal eyes could hardly calculate the detail, the lush forest, and already wild Pokemon everywhere. Weedle looked out curiously, Bulbasaur jumped out of the grass, and hurriedly ducked back in. Wingull filled the sky. He could hardly believed the Pokemon life, and from all different regions. Even if The Guardians were a myth, the ferry ride was worth it just to see such a thing.
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
Yuki watched him look around. It seemed that he was able to warm up now that she wasn't trying to make the area around her cold. There were such things as beaches of ice. Tundras. She kept her lean against the bark of the tree. She had a feeling that today would not be the same. This was the only reason she stepped outside of her domain.
Yuki felt like today was the day of opportunity. Her patience in waiting for it was getting low. Maybe she was just going insane.
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
Title: Sanctuary Island
Lee fingered Gale's pokeball as the message played, but took a good look at the Miccino scrambling from window to window to see the island better and decided against it. He couldn't bring himself to dampen the Pokemon's excitement.
"Just don't go off exploring without me," he said to the Miccino. Gale turned and blinked in confusion, as if the thought hadn't occurred to him, and Lee couldn't help but chuckle. The movement of the ferry stopped, fading into a gentle rocking, and Lee got to his feet. He followed after Raffaellu, taking special care to watch his step as he walked onto the dock.
Then he looked up, and all his thoughts and worries disappeared.
Seeing the island from far off was one thing, but actually being up close was a whole other experience entirely. Everything about it radiated life, from the plants swaying in the wind to the melody of Pokemon cries that filled the air.
"Wow..." Lee whispered, almost struck speechless by the beauty of it all. He'd never seen such a place before. It was certainly more inviting than-
He shook his head, forcing the thought out of his mind. There was no time for comparison. He watched briefly as Gale darted ahead of him and picked up his pace, still taking it all in.
Title: Sanctuary Island
That soon changed as Selene stepped tentatively outside. Everything was so lush, so colorful, so lively. A Beautifly fluttered close to Selene's nose, which almost made her sneeze. Beethoven lifted off of Selene's shoulder and flew around, weaving in and out of the trees with leaves that shuddered in the soft breeze. Selene laughed, letting her laughter be carried away by the wind.
"I can't believe it! We're here! We made it!" she yelled. Then, dropping her voice into a half-whisper, she repeated,"We made it.
"We're here."
She smiled from ear to ear when she ran towards the forest and climbed up the first tree she could get too. She moved quickly and silently until she came up near the top. She leaned up against the trunk of the tree and let the wind blow her hair out of her face. A little Pachirisu came up to her and watched her carefully. She laughed and spoke to him in a pokemon language, "Hey little guy. Your island is lovely." The Pachirisu smiled and little sparks popped off of his checks. Crystal lowered her arm and the Pachirisu ran up her arm playfully and jumped off to another branch.
Carla was a little girl with slightly curly, purple hair that was down and orangey-brown eyes. She was currently wearing a casual red dress with a few black stripes down to her knees and a yellow hairband. She wasn't an actual member of the Guardians, because of age, but she would sometimes do a few odd jobs here and there for them because her parents, before their death, were part of them.
Carla was currently assigned to show these people (or as she worded it 'escort' ) to the theater for something. Sitting upon a tree, she decided now was as good a time as any to get their attention. She threw a rock to land near them. Surely their pokemon would sense it, ri-iiiii-ght?
"Hello! Welcome to Sancuary Island. I'm Carla and I'll be your guide. Sorry about the rock, couldn't help it!" she giggled.

"Hey, Lee." he chimed quietly, walking beside him now. "Are you okay? You do not have worry, The Guardians are nice people...and this place if breath-taking, don't you think? We are all on the same ferry--well we were but, you know. A figure of speech. You are not alone, so you might as well enjoy the ride." he tried his best to make his new team member feel as welcome as possible. His head turned when he heard a higher toned voice chirp up.
At first he was surprised, but soon he was calm again. The warm rays of the sun, and this exotic location made him feel like a new person. "Nice to meet you Carla." he assured as respectfully as he could. Bending forth, he gave the younger child a polite bow. He looked around at the rest of the group. "Uh...Crystal, Carla is going to escort this um...party...be sure not to get lost, please?" he called somewhat nervously, not wanting to sound bossy. "I am ready whenever you are young mistress."
Kirlia sat on Raffaellu's shoulder. She took in the view happily as Raffaellu was checking up on everyone. She hadn't really took note of the people, she was distracted by the island. Kirlia adored the situation already.
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
Selene hadn't noticed Lee's frayed nerves until she heard Raffaellu talk to him in a lowered tone. That was when she realized just how nervous she was. She shuddered, although the balmy wind was warm in this tropical island. Beethoven must have noticed her nervousness and rubbed his beak against her skin to reassure her that he was still there. Selene clutched her wrist, which was hidden under her jacket and shirt.
"Yes... I'm ready whenever you are!" Selene smiled. I'm at the island... What can go wrong here? I should just relax...
"I'm... I'm just nervous, is all," he said, making a mental note to not get that caught up in his thoughts again. "I've never done something this big before. All I've ever done as a trainer is beat a few gyms." He looked away, watching the waves meet the shore. "When I received that ticket, I-I almost thought it was a joke. It didn't seem real that somebody thought I was special enough to join a group as big as the Guardians. But now that I'm here... I can't prove them wrong."
Worthless... less than trash... a past memory echoed. Lee clenched his fists. He'd show him. He'd show him he was anything but.
A girl's voice jolted him out of it. He looked back to the island and saw Carla in the trees. Nodding in response, he finally walked off the dock and onto the island, standing a bit behind Selene. Raffaellu's wrong. I am alone. But no matter what, I will not fail.
"We are just training to be. If they are real. I think. I think the phrase anyone can be, and not everyone can be are the same thing. Anyone can be a Guardian, but not everyone can make it through to be a Guardian." he said softly.
Kirlia stood perfectly still. Nothing distracted her from the observations she was making. Raffaellu on the other hand kept himself busy with the others. "You know, I think you are right, Lee. This is your time to prove them all wrong. I hope you prove us, everyone wrong too." he encouraged as he waited for Carla to lead the way.
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
Selene touched a lump under her pink jacket and lavender colored shirt. Her Capture Stylus. It had seemed so unlikely to her that Selene, a girl that stutters sometimes and is very shy, would become a Ranger. The idea had been so foreign back then, but now she felt even more unsure. Perhaps she wasn't good enough. What then? Would they boot her off of the island and back home? She definitely didn't want that to happen, but it was possible.
Don't think like that, she chided herself gently. I can't be weak here. I have to be ready! Selene gazed at the bright rays of the sun that was streaming into the broad leaves of the canopy. It's beautiful here. I should sit back, relax, enjoy myself. That was hard to do, though, as Carla's voice tittered, "And he-e-e-ere's the camp!"
((Is there some sort of big building where they will train and sleep and stuff? Or is the camp outside, with lodges and tents and whatnot?))
Though we will head to the theater in the larger building. Then we'll get cabin.
So the summery is...
Guardian's Domain: The main base of operations, a castle like structure with various rooms for various jobs to be preformed.
Protege Camp: The base of operations for Guardians in training. It includes it's own main building separate from the Guardian's domain, and fine wooden cabins.
I'll add it to the terms on the main page. Be sure to check once in a while for updated terms. Thank you for asking! : D ]]
Raffaellu nodded in agreement with Selene. "I think everyone is a little nervous..." he said looking down with a small, sheepish smile. "I am too." he continued on after his brief pause. There were so many emotions that swirled inside of him, he felt like he could just burst. Though, he focused on the hope, and excitement. Still, his nerves did creep in and dull his blazing dreams for the moment.
"Oh wow, do you see it Crystal, Lee? This is where we will be training..." he said now feeling renewed as if convinced now they were real. They're smart. Their main base is hidden. They would never give their location away so easily. It's hidden. he though to himself proudly.
He was not surprised when they passed the camp itself and were filed into a larger structure in the back of the camp. This he assumed, was where the camp instructors would stay. He looked around the halls that were decorated with pictures of mysterious Pokemon on the way to the Theater. He took notice of old documents, and words written in odd symbols.
"I wonder if they will make us make a tent like camp to test our survival skills."
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
Lee nodded wordlessly to Raffaellu, taking in his words. That's right, he told himself, falling in step behind Carla and the others. I can't just assume that I'll be able to make it through the training. Nothing's guaranteed. If I'm going to be a Guardian, I'm gonna have to work for it. He fiddled with the buttons on his shirt again, going from the lowest to the highest. Just focus on completing the training and nothing else and you'll do fine.
The boy allowed himself to smile as Selene spoke. She was just so cheerful. Doubtless she was nervous as well, but like Raffaellu had said, they were all nervous. Lee let out a quiet sigh and gazed up towards the tree tops, watching an Emolga skitter across the branches. He almost wished he could be that carefree. With the current circumstances, he couldn't exactly afford it. Maybe, if things had gone down differently, he would've been as happy and open as the others... but he had made his decision and he had no regrets.
Gale darted out of a bush ahead of them, munching on an Oran berry and smiling from ear to ear. The Miccino walked beside him as the Guardians' training camp came in sight. Though the cabins were fairly simple, Lee's curiosity was piqued as to what they looked like inside, but he followed without objection as they walked past them and into another building.
"It's really nice here," he said, realizing that he had been contemplative for a long time again. Man, that would be a hard habit to break. He paused as Raffaellu spoke, taking a moment to examine a picture on the wall before responding. "I don't see why not. The point of training is to make sure we're prepared to do what we'll be assigned to do, and we'll probably end up having to spend a few nights out in the wild somewhere. Even if we don't, it would be a good precaution. You never know what your shortcomings are until you're tested, right?"
She hear the sound of Pokemon playing in the forest and she kept herself from growling. She envied them for they could run free and be taken over by their instinct. She had to follow the way of life as a human. She didn't enjoy how they lived but it was better than being locked up in the Vault. She felt a pang of guilt for all of the other Gijinka's she had left behind but, she knew they couldn't have made it for long either way. Her expression started to show what she was think as she stared at her feet.
She followed quietly as they walked through the camp not really caring what it looked like. Something caught her attention n the corner of her eyes. She stopped and looked at a document with some strange symbols on them. Those symbol's... they seem... familiar. Oh what am I thinking, I must need some rest. Her weak feeling started coming back but she tried to brush it aside. The continued walking and reached the theater that Carla lead them too.
Title: The Theater
Also for any of you who play on Team Dimension, their team should get a move on soon, I just talked to their Co-Leader. Always feel free to add in plot twists, or whatever, it is your RP too. :>]]
Raffaellu walked down the rows of chairs, and stopped in the third row when instructed. He sat down, having moved all the way down to fill in each spot. "It does not matter what you have, it is what you give." he told Crystal happily before going silent. He rested back in his chair. The Theater/autoimmune was massive. Yet there was an odd vacancy, he predicted about fifty people in total were there. They all wore various uniforms, but somehow he knew there couldn't be but a handful who were the work force. Most of them looked like breeders, scientists, medical cores, ect.
This thought made him slightly sad. He has not really thought to take notice of those who have joined him on the ferry. Their actions, and voices faded for a few minutes. Raffaellu was caught up in the events, and the thought of being here. Everything snapped back into motions, reality, when he heard the clicking of heeled boots across the stage in front of them. He tensed, his heart began to race. This had to be it. He looked up at a woman in a navy blue short sleeved throw over that matched her blue skirt. Under which was a lighter blue shirt. Her midnight black belt clung to a small bag that was strapped over one shoulder. His eyes followed the design up to the starred hat, that went with her coal boots.
She is a part of the law force. he reminded himself. There seemed to be nothing more serious than the law. She is waiting for things to quiet down. Raffaellu looked down, only able to see her curled chestnut brown hair cupping her shoulders and cheeks. He inhaled deeply and looked up more determined this time. Kirlia happily took her seat on his lap.
Ralts, Gliscore, and Swablu.
Title: The Theater
Lee sat down in the seat next to Raffaellu, absentmindedly stroking the Miccino's head as he examined the people around them. So, these are the Guardians, he thought to himself. Or a part of them, at least. It's funny... somehow it skipped my mind that they're ordinary people just like the rest of us. I guess that's what happens when all you know about a group comes from stories and rumors. Without thinking, he lifted his hand up but then caught himself and froze.
Should I? he wondered, scanning the faces of the people around him. Nobody seemed to have noticed the movement. Raffaellu seemed to be too caught up in the moment to pay attention to him either. If he did it quickly and discretely enough, everything would go without a hitch.
But yet Lee didn't move. I know nothing about this building, he realized. If the Guardians have a way of detecting things like this, I'd be done in a second. I can't risk it. He resumed the movement but straightened his collar instead, hoping nobody had noticed his brief moment of indecision. I'll probably be able to do it later, outside of here. A lady stepped onto the stage and he looked up, quieting his thoughts and waiting for the meeting to start.
