"I can't remember the last time I saw a night sky not clouded with smoke and fire". That was the last thing I heard my friend, Setanta, say before he died in his sleep. Like most, he didn't have control of how he died. But unlike most, he died peacefully. Not in excruciating pain. Not pleading for his life. He just went to sleep that night and never woke up. To this day, I dont know what to think of his death. Should I curse the world for taking the person who had been like a father to me for many years, or do I get on my knees and thank it for letting him go in a way many dream they could go. One thing is for sure though, thats not how I will leave this world. I will leave it like hundreds of thousands do every day, on the battlefield- *A sound of a horn filled the air and Maya jumped in fear and looked back towards her door. She then let out a sigh of relief as she soom realized it was just the horn for the soldiers to wake up. She turned backwards towards her diary and dabbed the quill into the ink with her left hand continued writing what would be her last entry.* Fighting to live just a little bit longer then you would otherwise *Maya put the quill down and blew at the page to dry the ink before closing it and putting it in a small metal box and locking the book in. She got out of her chair with the box and slowly lifed a floorboard up to hide the book. Once it was in, she lowered the floorboard and stood up. And while she is sympathetic towards the people around her, on the battlefield, she will not hesitate to fire an arrow directly into the heart of her enemys Weapon(s): She has a bow made of a very durable wood and she uses arrows she hand crafts with obsidian, in an effort to allow the kingdom to have more metal for others. War Thats all we ever knew growing up. I remember as a child being woken up by my father and rushing us to the cellar. I remember seeing armored men strike him down with their sword as he fought to protect his children from them. I remember running into the darkness as the slaughtered my brothers and sisters. But now, here we are, defending A'Oura, the last standing city in the kingdom of Rupratinra. If they break through our walls, Rupratinra will fall. There will be no reignforcements. Title: How I Became PH's Greatest UserLast year when I left Pokeheroes I was just barely shy of level 65 and within the span of less then 3 and a half months, I have achieved something no user has ever done in the history of PH which might officially make me the greatest user to ever grace this site. *Inside, several men stood around a table looking at a stratigical map of the area with markings on it listing things such as where other troops were. They stood arguing about something however suddenly the biggest one held up his hand and they went silent. It was faint, but he heard swords colliding and men groaning. He looked to his side and pointed at several of the men who ran to the door with their swords drawn. Then the fighting drew closer and old man readied his own sword and began to take deep breaths....* *From the darkness of the woods, the snap of a branch was heard from in the distance. The soldiers all raised their heads and looked in the direction of the noise and suddenly, a light fog began to settle in the area. The soldiers raced to get behind the barricade, drawing their swords and held up their spears. An ominous laugh filled the air, causing the soldiers to look all around as they didnt know where the noise came from. One soldier, however, didnt waver from looking forward. From the distance, he could see nothing until he suddenly, he saw the shadow of a figure just standing and watching them. He took deep breaths and begin to whisper.* Guys.. *The other soldiers looked at him then where he was looking and also saw the figure. But as the fog continued to roll in, the figure slowly disappeared. After a few moments of waiting and looking towards where they saw the figure, two black eyes quickly emerged from the fog and decapitated the man with their sword before moving to battle the others....* *As the sound of fighting slowly came to a halt, silence filled the tavern. Suddenly, a figure busted through the door, and slid to dodge the men's blades. In a matter of seconds, they had impaled or decapitated them all. The old man tried to draw his sword but his hand was chopped off and he was thrown to the wall by the figure. The figure began to walk around the room until suddenly, they saw the map and walked over to it. The old man yelled at the figure* Dont you dare touch that! *The figure lifted their head and threw a knife into the old mans shoulder with such force it lodged in his shoulder and pined him to the wall. The figure then began to speak* Do you know what I am? *The old man spat in the direction of the figure and they walked towards him, taking off their hood to reveal a mask made from an animal's skull. Talla grabbed him and looked him in the eyes with her corrupted eyes* Do you remember this face? *The mans eyes began to constrict. He began to speak as he slowly began to take out a knife* You killed the last Drakonov *Talla smiled and the old man took the knife and stabbed Talla's gut. She looked down at the knife and then up at him. She took the knife out of her gut and shoved it up the old mans neck* And this is the face that will be smiling when your armies burn. *Talla ripped her knife from the mans shoulder and walked out of the tavern, back into the fog, leaving blood and destruction in her wake* [Read more] |
