Not gonna lie, I totally expected the next pair to be Scream Tail and Iron Bundle just because those are the next two you encounter in the games after the Donphan ones, but I'm TOTALLY fine with Brute Bonnet and Iron Hands as Iron Hands is probably my favorite Paradox mon.


Plus if we have two months to do this I don't see a need to stop/pause my hunt when I'm just one Shiny away from being done anyway. 🙂

I just had the strangest not-Shiny encounter in Scarlet.

I am at a Blitzle outbreak and am just auto-battling. My Pokemon suddenly refuses to attack one. So I look at it, and it looks normal. I try auto-battle a few more times, each time my Pokemon won't fight it. I look at it REALLY close but it still looks normal. But I save and encounter it.

There's no Shiny sparkle. It is just a regular Blitzle. So I just run, and THEN my Pokemon will now fight it. 😵

I think personally I'm really not a fan of the berry events. There's a lot of luck and time needed to get good results and I personally have neither. The stupid Drash Berry especially seemed to keep not levelling up.

Yay, first one!

OH MY GOD! IT FINALLY HAPPENED! 244 eggs to do it, over I don't know how many months or years even but I FINALLY got a Mega Able Cottonblu!


And now I set a rule for myself I wouldn't do another Shiny hunt until I hatched a Mega Able Cottonblu. Since my Arceus hunt ended with the last Shiny being September 22nd LAST YEAR, my only Shiny hunt was Gastly for the Easter event, and that was mainly just because I thought "may as well do a chain while I'm at it".


So now.......what do I hunt? 🙃 I'm down for any simple hunt that's not already in my Shinies box.

Well I've just completed the Alolan Rattata line as Shiny purely from the Alola Rumble map.


As much as I am happy to do that, I do wish my Shinies could maybe be one of the exclusive ones (Raichu, Exeggutor, Marowak) and NOT ones I can hunt outside the map. 😂

LET'S GO!!! About time I caught something from using Super Honey! I swear every time I use it, things find a window frame of time where I'm not paying attention to show up and eat all the honey.

So I was convinced to going back to Let's Go and mainly just to get far enough that I felt ok to just transfer Pokemon from Home to the game to complete the Dex for the Shiny Charm.


Turns out you CAN'T transfer Pokemon from Home into the game. I can just work on evolving and catching some of my missing Pokemon but otherwise for stuff like exclusives I have to use Go or something.

I just randomly found a Shiny Alpha Paras just flying around waiting for a distortion! With this one, my Shiny Alphas are now:

I am only JUST learning you can just click 'X' on the Legends Arceus map to pick where to fly to. As opposed to using the joystick to move the cursor to the spot.

Sooooo I kind of just got my MOST WANTED SHINY in Legends Arceus and am kind of freaking out.


For background, back in the Gold and Silver days I had a goal of getting all my Pokemon to level 100. I got my team leveled up and decided it didn't matter what Pokemon I started with next, so I picked one at random. That turned out to be an Unown H.


I cannot stress how difficult it is to level up an Unown in those games, but I managed to do it. I had a Level 100 Unown H. That I then couldn't move into the next Gen. 😆


So the Unown, and specifically Unown H, have always had a special place in my heart. And since Legends Arceus came out my goal was to get a Shiny Unown H.


AND I GOT IT TODAY AAAAAHHHHHHH!

Wow. I'm just mad and sad right now. I apparently accidently released my Samurott in Legends Arceus. 😥 Don't know when, but closing and restarting the game didn't bring it back, and loading the backup save didn't either. It's gone.
