Incredibly bored rn. What was the most useless/weird thing you ever learned at school? Anyone remember the recorder? (Like what did we even learn from it, we practically never touched the recorder again)

So once again, I'm traumatized. Put yourself in my shoes, imagine it was 1 am, you've decided to take a rest from trying to figure out how to do math problems that your teacher never taught you how to do. After brushing your teeth and getting on bed, you drift into sleep. Around 3 am, a loud fire alarm sound, at least twice as loud as the ones at school wake you up. You open your eyes to see a blinding red light near the door that was flashing. You get out of your bed, waiting for it to stop. When it doesn't stop, you decide to get out and ask for help. Just when you were making your way out of the room. The alarm stops the beeping. Was it finally over? You were about to sigh with relief when the alarm starts going off again, saying something new: "Evacuate! Evacuate! Smoke in child's room!" on repeat.

Hoping that I'm allowed to speak in Chinese ;-;

I’m so traumatized. We had a Socratic seminar today and because I had something to do tomorrow, I had to participate in today’s. When I went in and was just about to speak, everyone left the circle and went outside. So practically the whole entire class was staring at me in the middle being forced to talk to myself. I was already so scared (people are my biggest fear) so once I finally talked, I was shaking like crazy and sounded like I was crying. I’m surprised people actually understood me, I couldn’t make out a word I was trying to say. I’m still so traumatized that I can’t speak, walk, or type properly. 😭💀 (i might have to do this two more times if the thing is cancelled, please help TWT)

My family received many evacuation warnings and might evacuate to a friend's house. We are currently packing essential items (my mom's packing like 100 random purses she bought TWT) and getting our cats ready to take with us.
