Hi,

I currently have two Solar Eevees in the daycare, and they’re supposedly perfect for each other. However, all their offspring so far have been normal Eevees, and I’m starting to wonder if I’m doing something wrong.

Is there a specific condition I might be missing to pass down their Solar form? Do I need specific items, timing, or something else to ensure Solar Eevee offspring?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Kanashi

Nope, nothing is wrong with your Solar Eevees. Event Pokémon eggs simply have a lower chance of appearing in the daycare so you’ll need to be patient. I’m not well versed in this subject so it’ll be better if you just check out the breeding guide here:

Hello,

Thanks for the info and the breeding guide link! I noticed my Pokédex doesn’t have the Solar Eevee’s EggDex completed.could that be affecting the chances?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Kanashi

As someone who's also got a perfect pair of solar eevees in the daycare rn: I'm getting ~roughly 1 solar eevee per day, but I have the effect of premium and a flute so they give more eggs. I'd say you could be waiting for 20-ish eggs or so before you get one, but it may take longer, it will only depend on your luck. To your question above, I did not have the eggdex before so I'm pretty sure that doesn't affect it

As of the moment, egg dex only affects which pokemon you can hunt in tall grass so no, it doesn't. When I bred a perfect pair of Solar Eevee, I got an event egg after around 10-30 normal eggs

It's possible I think??? But not recommended. Event egg rates are already low even with a perfect breeding pair, breeding an event with a non event would lower that rate. For reference, I once tried to breed cuddlithe with growlithe, and it took me to more than chain 200+ growlithe to get only TWO cuddlithe eggs. Maybe I was just unlucky, but after that I'm never breeding an event without a perfect breeding pair
