The Royal Tunnel gets more difficult over time; with each new generation released, there's more Pokemon to remember. As there are now over 1,000 Pokemon, it would be nice if there were some measure in place to curb this increase in difficulty.

My proposal is that the Beginner Path only include Pokemon from generations 1-3, the Advanced Path only Pokemon from generations 1-4, The Pro Path only Pokemon from generations 1-5, the Split-Decision Path only Pokemon from generations 1-8 (specifically through the Crown Tundra expansion, ending at Calyrex), and the Endless Path include Pokemon from all generations, 1 through present.

Not only does this set static limits for the difficulty of the Royal Tunnel, but the generations match those for which the Regis were released, which is just nice for aesthetics. One can still test their knowledge of all Pokemon in the Endless Path.

That seems like a great idea 💡 because if we had an endless mode it wouldn't matter if we got an answer wrong we could move on to the next question
