There's an annoying bug that happens when you accidentally select a pokeball you've run out of at the same encounter, you'll get a pop-up saying you have no more pokeballs, but you're then unable to try any different ones.
This is what I got when I still have over 40 pokeballs aside from the one I selected. The only way out of this is to restart the hunt...

Refreshing the page should let you continue the hunt instead of restart it.
But that still doesn't change the bug you've confirmed.

That's correct The chain continues, but you need to find the shadow again. My average is around 50 encounters for the shadow which doesn't feel to be higher odds whether i'm starting from 0 or a previous session.
