In the wiki, it states that "There are some other ways to obtain Trainerpoints, but they are not shared here."
Moreover, in this forum thread, Riako states that there are "secret" ways of getting TP.

I wanna know what are those ways!! If you know please tell me!

Hi, nice to meet you!
Just so you know, I'm about 6 hours behind game time.
I'm aiming for all the plushies so missing ones will be much appreciated. This part is mainly aimed at the plushie exchange contest!
Also, I don't have a battle team so, plz, no battle requests!
I'm aiming for ditto so any normal gem offers or letting me borrow your ditto once I have enough gems would be very appreciated! I'm always buying them!

not really....like you can get a bit rondomly from fishing, i think? like, everything you do counts to trainerpoints, i believe? idk.....

There are a lot of ways, but they don’t really matter — hatching eggs is still the best option.
