On PokeHeroes, you get new Pokemon primarly by hatching Eggs (check the Lab for that!). There's only a few situations where you battle wild Pokemon (legendary Pokemon during special rumble missions for example) or catch them with Pokeballs (Honey Tree for example).

Mirej said it pretty well, you won't be doing too much active fighting here, rather hatching eggs n stuff

are growlithe an event pokemon or are they able to be hatched regularly? if they are able to be hatched, what would be an appropriate offer for a growlithe?

@totallynotabot314159 This is not really a place to ask it, but Growlithe is not an event Pokemon. It’s rarity is "rare" though, which makes it a bit harder to get than your average Starly or Bidoof.
