Oh, yeah.
How Cass wasn't used to waking up here already, she didn't know. It had been two weeks, mostly filled by hiding in her room and avoiding all social contact, sitting in the dark and reading. Ohhh, but she was hungry now, but she knew almost everyone had to be downstairs, but sweet sweet isolation-
She sighed, opening her door, the sounds of chatter hitting her like a truck.

"Evan, wait up," she muttered, trudging up the stairs after him.
Glancing as Cass, she smiled briefly, before darting after him.

Iris began to eat a plate of eggs and bacon. She sat down next to a tall, blonde man who seemed to be glitching in and out of reality.
Near him was a girl who was definetly an extrovert. She seemed to be quite the chatterbox from what Iris could hear.
Before Iris knew it, she had devoured the plate of eggs and bacon before knowing it.
he glanced at himself as he passed a mirror.
Nope. Still a cyborg.
he reached the top, pushing open the door to his room.
it was a rather messy room, but in a quaint way. Schematics for various devices, machines and weapons lay strewn across the floor, bed and desk, and the bed looked hardly unused. A cabinet on the far side of the room, under the window, ahd a note slapped on it, written in scrawled handwriting reading [MATERIALS, DO NOT TOUCH IF NOT EVAN].
A framed picture, the only pristine thing in this room, rested against the wall, on his desk.
Evan took a seat in his chair, before looking up, at Leanne.
"...Please leave."

"Fine, I'll give you some room. But you owe me a conversation, you little piece of-" she stopped, taking a deep breath. Leanne grabbed Emmie by the back of her shirt, lifting her into the air with a grunt. "Are you made of rocks or something? Seriously."
Hauling Emmie downstairs was not as easy as it should have been. Dumping her in the kitchen, she whirled around to face her. "Emmie. Stop following people. Private conversations are private. They do NOT include you." Leanne glared at Aleks. If Evan was telling the truth, then this was his fault... she could just tell.
"Morning Aleks. I'm doing great, thanks for asking. Did you know your tenants are out of control? Evan's also in a funk. And for the love of Merlin, is there any tea? I'm about to die from dehydration if the lack of caffeinated earl grey doesn't do me in first."

Aleksandr laughed, glitching into existence behind leanne.
"There is tea on the counter! I must get started for a day of activities! How fun!"

"Seriously. Check on Evan at some point." Her brow furrowed. Leanne was inexplicably worried about the cyberkinetic. He clearly didn't want help from her. Or at the very least, she hadn't found the right words to say so he would accept help from her right now.

She sipped her tea, lost in thought for a moment. Then she finally asked, dreading the answer that she knew was going to somehow terrify her, or at the very least, fill her with dread. (Just think, she could have a moment longer of peace before asking.) "What did you plan for today, Aleks?"

Aleksandr sighed melodramatically.
"I have many things planned, Leanne! One of which is a relaxing visit to the village!"

There were no chiefs here. This wasn't the squad. There was no wild haired squad leader barking orders at her. Leanne frowned. She was really quite tired. "Your idea of relaxing certainly doesn't match mine. Pardon my scepticism, but I'm not sure if I'm in any state to make that journey today." Her clipped accent emphasised her words, making Leanne sound like she was back in Britain. The North-Londoner came out when she was too exhausted to somewhat conform.
"I might just go back to bed..."

Despite the rather confusing situation he was in, he took a deep breath, and decided to gather more intel before interacting with these strange folk. He had always learnt to stay calm under the most stressful situations, and this situation was no different. Taking another breath to calm himself down, he decided to start his exploration of his surroundings, before distancing himself from the lively chatter.
Aleksandr laughed.

Evan quietly ripped out a piece of paper from his notebook- another design, wasted, impossible to create. Sometimes, his mind was a curse.

Turning back to Alyssa, she asked “Tell me more about rune magic, Alyssa. How does it work, what is needed, and such”
"See... it's never just a stroll with you, Aleks." She finished the tea, setting the mug in the sink. "I know enough not to trust that smirk on your face, my friend. So really, if it's all the same to you, I'm taking a nap. Go and have fun with the children without me."
