I like this idea, since newbies keep posting on roleplays I make/am on and other stuff like that and it gets really annoying and stuff, but the newbies dont know what they are doing wrong, so it would just help with the general flow of things, for lack of a better word

am i the only one who could find the wiki and forum all by myself ??
Sometimes i could not find it so i had to use the forum-help section or asked a mod.

Besides from other mentor-projects on other sites i know for sure that many are just getting lazy if you feed them everything instead of suggesting to look in wiki and stuff first. And many of them like me who know that pretty much every site has a forum an often a frequently asked questions section/wiki and that they dont even want to be treated like they can't find anything.

The more you find out by using the resources given by the mods in form of a help-forum and/or wikipedia the less you have to ask questions as "how do i hatch egges/how do i find honey"

There are some super useful threads which I found originally and then had to search for a while to reference them again, including:
Price Check
Megas (list of all the Mega Evolutions, information about how to obtain a Mega Stone which took FOREVER to find on my own)

Also it'd be nice if the Wiki had better page links, lots of stuff I had to search in the search bar just to find the page like information about Legendary Pokemon, Pokeradar, Tall Grass, etc.

Things I was confused about:
You need to buy the Pokeradar to start breeding a Shiny Chain, and apparently you have to keep paying to repair the Pokeradar because it breaks? (unless you're a Premium member)
The Wide Lens only shows the species of the Pokemon and not the shininess (speaking of which, will it tell you whether it's an event Pokemon or not?)
If you put two different species of Pokemon in the daycare it has a chance of breeding either (I've been on another site where it always breeds the female species, can't remember how it works in the games...)
Gracidea only changes Shaymin to Sky Forme, doesn't summon it

Wonder Trade also isn't really explained... well, anywhere, and I think more users should know about it for sure!
