Another new Angel, Onyx, was petrified at the situation. She was new and was left behind, not taken by the Angel Assistant like the rest of the new Angels, but left the beautiful gold and white room on her own. Everyone would’ve been shocked but Onyx was startled for a different reason. It had happened so soon, so suddenly. She knew that this was going to happen but this wasn’t the right time for it. Someone else had done this, that wasn’t loyal to the Demon Head. Onyx hid behind a grand pillar by the angels side of the room, looking for the Angel Head. But Doctors covered the Angel and so she could see no one but potions and medicines and books filled with information. Onyx leant in closer to see what was happening but her feet clattered against the floor. Someone looked up at her. She turned and ran out of the side door, her wings brushed against the walls and her long black hair blew against her face. Onyx suddenly stopped, hearing voices. She drew her dagger and prepared to fight. She fought a lot in her past life but she couldn’t remember it all. It was confusing, some parts clear whilst others were blurry. A young Demon walked past and looked at her. “Onyx?” She said, “What in the name of Hell is going on.” Onyx lowered her weapon, “I don’t know, but you need to swear on your life that you won’t tell anyone that you saw me.” She walked off. “You can’t ignore me,” the Demon called after Onyx, her voice husk and hollow, “Darkness will still call and I’ll find a way to return you.”
“Not now. Later maybe. Talk to Val about me alright? But don’t mess anything up otherwise we are both in danger.” Onyx snapped; but the Demon girl had already gone.

Elehah narrowed his eyes, he of course knew Val, the young man was pretty much a new born demon in his eyes, extremely young, not even a hundred years old yet. Despite that, he already holds a decently high place within Hokuki's manpower. Though it was suspicious, Elehah could only believed the fact that the little demon was a genius of some sort that the head demon as found.

But through all these coincidences, are they really coincidental? The murderer was clearly skilled and has connections. Yet he was found this easily by the young demon.

Usually, as a demon doctor, he wouldn't let himself meddle among these political affairs, and keep to himself. After all, deaths doesn't matter as long as it wasn't him that was dying. But this was a different situation.

The head angel, his eminence, was assassinated, and was on the verge of death, careful moves must be made. This may be a bigger chess game than he thought.

But he won't allow himself to be a pawn. Not ever, not now.

Elehah stepped forward, and interrupted Val from speaking, and kneeled dowd as well.

"Your Majesty, may I use my powers to search for the perpetrator? I can assure you, this won't affect her eminence's health."

Val looked at Elehah with distain, it wouldn’t matter if Elehah tried, he wouldn’t be able to find anything, the guy’s memory was refreshed and everything was planned and perfect. He backed down and entered a door at the side of the hall, Val’s office.

Val started organising the papers and clipboards of information about each on the Angels and Demons, he wanted to sort out a party for the expedition to stabilise the dimensional gateways, there were only about 10 around the 3 realms, which meant they wouldn’t need that many people for it.

Val flicked through the papers and finally, after a while, he had gotten a full team for the expedition, now he just needed Hoyuki’s sign and everything would be perfect

The Demon girl, Crimson, kept her duel swords close. Now that the Head Angel was attacked, people would question things; Demons would take advantage and become bolder. And Angels, well, they could finally wake up to the real world. The Truth. Because everything is lies.

Crimson walked towards Val's office, maybe he would know what to do about the Angel girl, Onyx, as well as the Head Angel. But she would be sorted out later. Whilst she was important, her needs were not yet necessary, even though Onyx knew that they both hated what she was.

Crimson had heard that Val knew how to find the assassin and she had hoped to help, being a previous assassin. However, that wasn't her secret. Crimson tied up her long white hair, her red streaks glowing in the light as she approached Val. "What's the plan, Val?" Crimson spoke, a sly grin etched on her face.

Val looked up at Crimson, “Ahh Miss Crimson… I was just going to find someone to take these papers to Hoyuki.” He said, handing over the stack of Angels’ and demons’ names. “Pass them to him please, tell him that those are for the expedition, to stabilise the dimensional gateways. It also happens that you are one of them miss Crimson, tell Hoyuki to sign them as fast as he can… you can round up everyone who is on the list.” a smile was barely visible on his pale face, in a slight flash, a demonic creature could be seen. It had dark red skin with two black horns, white eyes that looked as if it belonged to a cat, scars were not at all uncommon on its face. But it all appeared and disappeared in a second and everything looked back to normal.

Kaori followed the "Assistant Angel Dude" to the Angel Realm...

Hoyuki was in a daze. But he soon snapped out of it and looked at the assassin at his feet.

"So this is the presumed assassin...

Take him to the dungeons. Sign him up for an execution."

Waving his hand, he dismissed the assassin and my mental sanity.

Crimson nodded and took the papers from him, the devilish grin still smirking. "Of course Val. Lord Hoyuki will receive these very soon. I will tell him your request." She turned put on a blood-red cloak to hide the papers and herself, and walked out, heading towards the hall. She armed herself with her sharpened blades: she would not take any risks of losing that information to anyone, Demon or Angel.

She entered the hall, removed her hood and knelt before the Head of Demons. "My Lord," she spoke, "I have brought to you information on every Demon and Angel. I have been given orders from Val to ask if you would sign these: papers for an expedition to stabilise the dimensional gateways. However we may only go ahead with this operation if you are happy with it, sir."
