i have almost all the egg radar chips, i dont have Egg Radar Chip (Legend) but the other ones i do have.

Do i need to have gotten the pokemons as eggs, not thro auction, to be able to find them with the egg radar chip?

@lortemarianne : Yes, you needed to obtain the egg dex of the Pokémon or hatch the Pokémon egg first.. before they will become available at the "Tall Grass" area, if you also have the proper radar chips for them.

With the exception for the Egg Radar Chip (Legend), since you also needed to activate a Summon Item for that to work..

You only need to "hatch" the Pokémon egg (i.e. obtain the "egg" dex entry).. selling the actual Pokémon doesn't affect it.

The "Egg dex" part will help you unlock the Pokémon at the "Tall Grass" area for you, considering that you have also bought the correct radar chip (i.e. starter, etc.) for your Egg Radar.
