SAYORI
Sayori stood outside, taking in the fresh air, along with the beauty of nature. Suddenly, a small Psyduck with a pile of dark hair atop its head waddled towards Sayori, holding its head and making small noises. Sayori wrapped her arms around the Psyduck, immediately recognizing it from her past. She had given him the name "Mr. Bird" years ago, and she hadn't seen him since she was about twelve years old. All Psyduck are known to hold their heads due to their painful headaches. Mr. Bird, however, was different. Sayori had discovered long ago that this particular Psyduck was calmed by her positive energy, which would get rid of its headaches, as long as Sayori was around. "I think I found the perfect Apprentice for me", Sayori whispered with a smile.

NATSUKI
Natsuki sat outside on a bench, enjoying a batch of freshly-baked catcakes. She didn't expect to see an actual cat of a sort floating towards her, attracted by the smell of the catcakes. Natsuki's eyes grew very wide as she scooped up the cat, which turned out to be a Mew, in her little arms. The Mew appeared to have chocolate-colored whiskers and eyes. She affectionately named the Mew "Cupcake", and it became her Apprentice.

YURI
Yuri was standing in front of a plant, admiring its beauty, when a small Shuppet with red eyes approached her from the woods. They took an immediate liking to each other, both having shy and unaware personalities of a sort. Yuri named the Shuppet "Markov", and it was her Apprentice.

MONIKA
Monika was sitting up in a tree when she spotted a lonely Roserade down below her. She quickly jumped from the tree, landing on all fours, and then stood up and approached the Roserade. She picked him up, and it was like love at first sight, but for a Pokemon. She named him "Senpai", and he was her Apprentice.

LIBITINA
Poor Libitina. She just hadn't been able to control her emotions, but Yuri had revived, thanks to the clever coding skills of Monika, who had restored Yuri's Character File within a few minutes. Libitina sat alone in the dorm room, clutching a stuffed animal for comfort. Suddenly, a small Meltan approached Libitina, and it jumped up onto her bed. The Meltan's energy seemed to be calming Libitina even better than the stuffed animal. Libitina named the Meltan "Tom", and it was her Apprentice.

Marina couldn't help a cheer. "Yay! New friends!" Hearing Loona's question made her pause. How old was she right now? "Ooo, that's a bit of a toughy. The years sort of blur together after that day. I'd need to do some math..."

Hearing another voice drew Marina from her musing. She looked about, even under herself and her tail to try and find the source.
