The last egg that I got from the daycare took 115 hours to show up, and as of now it’s been another 113 hours since then and no more have shown up, even though I’ve done the fountain every day and gotten boosted breeding chance three days out of the last four and twice in a row while waiting for the 115-hour egg and the Pokémon in the daycare get along. I am just feeling so incredibly discouraged and cursed, but I don’t actually believe in curses, so I feel like it must be some other issue. Please help me fix it.

I really don’t see how that could be related, Globe. That sounds like a lot of eggs to me.

An average of three starter-rarity eggs per day is a lot more than I got when I was breeding starters. It’s just random chance in your case, not unlikely at all.

What pokémon are you trying to breed?

A Type: Null with my OT and a Ditto I bought from someone else. Trying to fill my dex. A friend of mine was breeding theirs at the same time as me and finished a very long time ago, and I haven’t even gotten half of the eggs I need even though it’s been several weeks.

An egg just showed up. After 115 hours, just like the last one. That’s extremely weird and feels like it can’t be a coincidence. Is there some kind of mechanism in place that makes it so that 115 hours is the max amount of time a daycare couple that gets along can go without producing an egg, and something’s gone so bad for me that it’s going to take the max amount of time every time from here on out?

I think its a legendary so its takes time. And see the process the ditto has to transform into the type:null and get comfy and do the thing to get eggs (they get points by staying in the daycare and then they buy the eggs from the old man, You learned the wrong method of production of eggs) it will take time 1 hr=1 point and if the egg costs 100 points 100 hours!

Please let me get an answer from the experts. That is what this forum is for. I made this post so that someone who actually knows about this can help me. But now my post has been ignored by all of those people because you keep spamming nonsense here.

I'm sorry, but the only expert is the admin who coded the site and it's functions, that user is apparently on a break and as well, rarely answers help forum posts. The mods are only experienced but don't actually know /lh
I assume it's just that legends in Daycare breed really, really slowly

Deoxys, Arceus, and my friend’s Type: Null didn’t. It is only my Type: Null that is breeding impossibly slowly.

ETA: I had no idea that Riako hadn’t been online for more than a week. Is that unusual?

It can be just incredible bad luck. Also, your friends' faster breeding could be influenced by quite a lot of things like: do they have premium? Did they use a white/black flute? Did they get the fountain bonus? Perhaps they were breeding when Valentines day happened, because the Daycare will produce a massive amount of eggs then. Are they active? (This isn't confirmed, but for me it feels like if you interact more/be active you get more eggs).

@Mirej, Did you read my comments? I said that my friend and I started breeding them at the same time, several weeks ago, and that I’ve gotten the fountain breeding bonus many times. They do have premium, but I didn’t know that boosted breeding, and they haven’t said anything about using any flutes or even the fountain. And I’m very active, probably moreso than them although we’re both active.

Also, even if we were to assume that my friend just had the absolute best luck and I’ve just had the absolute worst luck, is there any reason at all to assume that Type: Null would breed five times slower than Deoxys and Arceus? Because I was trying to say just in my last comment that I bred all of their forms and never experienced anything remotely like this.

When Riako added the Dex-completion rewards (breedable legendaries), he mentioned that you shouldn't expect an Egg every day.

While the breeding chances were improved several times, there's still an element of chance to the whole DayCare aspect.

I can't say for sure, but it seems like you're just unlucky with Type:Null.
(And got lucky with the other legendaries)

@lalvoe - id assume that ur not shiny chaining type:null rn. if u want to test ur hypothesis that ur only getting eggs after 115 hours, then how about breeding an easy rarity pkmn and see if it is really the problem? if the problem is somewhere within the codes of your profile, then an egg should produce after 115 hours.

if u think the problem is the type:null and not ur profile, then how about changing the type:null into other type:nulls?
if u think the problem is the ditto, then how about testing it by having ditto breed a different easy rarity pkmn?

That’s not happening anymore, I just found it extremely strange that it took exactly 115 hours twice in a row. Either that hypothesis has already been disproven or someone fixed it because I made this post.

ETA: At least, I hope it won’t happen again.

I do wish that humanity would peacefully go extinct, but unfortunately that hasn’t happened yet, so we’re still here suffering. But, once again, that doesn’t have anything to do with this post.

Edit @ 22:19:00 on 28/Mar/2023: It’s been 116 hours since the last egg showed up, so the record has been broken by this one.
